Do You Need a Car for Your Whistler Vacation?: There's no need for driving when you stay at Whistler Snowbird with the reliable and frequent free shuttle service.
Free Whistler Shuttle: The free shuttle connects the Upper Village to the main Village. The bus stop is right outside the complex and during peak season it frequents every 10 minutes.
Ski Lifts: Access the slopes with a quick walk to the nearby Valley Trail access point or take the free shuttle to Blackcomb Base.
Equipment Rental & Ski School: At Blackcomb Base, less than a 10-minute walk or free shuttle ride away.
Shops & Restaurants: Blackcomb Base has a variety of shops and restaurants just a short walk down the hill or by way of free shuttle. Hop on the free shuttle to get to Whistler Village in ten minutes or less for a wider variety of retail and dining opportunities.
Spa: A stone's throw down the hill you have two award winning spas available to you. Both the Chateau Whistler and the Four Seasons Hotel have excellent facilities that will help melt your aches and pains away.
Grocery Store: Shop at IGA Marketplace in Whistler Village North, Whistler's largest grocery store. Arrive in approximately ten minutes by shuttle.
Liquor Store: Stock up at the Blackcomb Beer & Wine store located at Blackcomb Base - a short walk or shuttle ride away. Alternatively, a full BC Liquor Store is located at the Marketplace Plaza.

Whistler Snowbird Size & Suitability
Whistler Snowbird homes range from 3-5 bedrooms and usually accommodate 8-12 people. They are suitable for a wide range of travelers:
- Families with Kids & Teens: Whistler Snowbird multi-level townhomes give kids a separate level from the adults who may want a little more space to themselves. Access to the village is simple for teens - just spring onto the free shuttle.
- Nightcrawlers: May prefer a location closer to nightlife venues in the Village, rather than staying at Whistler Snowbird.
