Do You Need a Car for Your Whistler Vacation?: Driving is not necessary as Forest Trails Whistler is super close to most everything you would need. However, having a car may be more convenient. After all, you will have a private garage to yourself.
Free Whistler Shuttle: The free shuttle connects the Upper Village to the main Village. The bus stop is right outside the complex and during peak season it frequents every 10 minutes.
Ski Lifts: Catch the slopes, a mere 250 metres away.
Equipment Rental & Ski School: At Blackcomb Base, less than a 5-minute walk.
Shops & Restaurants: Blackcomb Base has a variety of shops and restaurants only a 5-minute walk down the hill. Hop the free shuttle to get to Whistler Village in a few minutes, or take a 10-minute walk in the fresh mountain air.
Spa: Right across the street you have two award winning spas available to you. Both the Chateau Whistler and the Four Seasons Hotel have excellent facilities that will help melt your aches and pains away.
Grocery Store: Shop close by at IGA Marketplace in Whistler Village North, the largest grocery store - only a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive.
Liquor Store: Stock up at the Blackcomb Beer & Wine store located at Blackcomb Base - a short 5-minute walk. Alternatively, a full BC Liquor Store is located at the Marketplace Plaza, in Village North, which is a 10-minute walk or 5-minute drive.
