September Whistler Trip

I have been wanting to stay at Montebello and this year found a good way to book through Allura. With parking in the whistler area being scarce, it was awesome having parking for our Sprinter Van. The garage was also an advantage over the hotel that we have previously been booking. The Hot tub was warm and ready for us, and the house was great for our group of 7. I thought it was an overall great value for us.

Disappointed there’s no BBQ grill

If you want to bbq, do not book this house. Their bbq broke last year and the owner chose not to replace it. We booked this place last year (with a bbq) and was very disappointed that they had no bbq to use this year. Other than that, the house is in good condition. The washer stops in the middle of the wash and we had to turn it back on to continue it’s cycle. Beds are ok. The air conditioning is great. Gas stove and working oven. Lots of plates, cups and utensils. Won’t book this place again unless the owner gets a new bbq.

Great 1st Stay at Whistler

Our group of 6-7 enjoyed our week stay here and loved having all the space, nice kitchen, and hot tub! It is about a 7 min walk to the free shuttle that will take you to the Gondolas which also sits right outside the marketplace and liquor store. Another 7-10 min to the gondolas through the village or 2 min shuttle ride from there. If you choose not to walk or don't want to walk with all your gear when you first arrive, Taxi's only cost $6-7 to get around too.

There is a garage and driveway space if you have a car plus some extra guest parking throughout the development. Our group of 3-4 couples all felt like we had plenty of space though noise will carry up to the master suite with the high living room ceiling, so may want to put your guests that say up the latest in that room :-). We enjoyed being close to the grocery to pop in and get things for dinner and not a far walk into the village for restaurants and shops too.

It was a very nice and updated townhome as well. Thanks!

Lovely Home in Whistler

We had a great ski trip with our party of 8 at this home. The location was convenient to walk to the Upper Village for dinners and kids could manage their own way home at the end of the ski day if needed. The Montebello development is quiet and peaceful and the unit met all of our needs.

My only suggestion would be to detail some options in the description for getting to/from the gondolas from the property (e.g. buses/shuttle, parking, walking, etc.) - we did figure out our own solution but were somewhat flying blind as it is a 1/2 mile between the house & the Village.

Great Weekend Stay

Beautiful Whistler Home - JUST PERFECT!

100 percent can recommend staying here! We stayed in this beautiful home for a few nights. Everything was perfect from the moment I booked it. The house is so comfortable and it truly is a home away from home as described.

The beds are really comfortable (always very important!), the hot tub was really great after a day's skiing, being located just outside the back door so very easy to get in and out and lovely and hot. The facilities in the kitchen were extensive, right down to the smaller things like tin foil and dishwasher tablets, condiments in the cupboard, just makes life very easy from the moment you arrive. It was also a very easy flat walk into town and the ski area. Approx 10 mins walk.

Rebecca who lets the property was always quick to respond by email and I got my damage deposit back within a few days of leaving. If we ever go back to Whistler I wouldn't look anywhere else and will be booking this home again!

Thanksgiving in Whistler

8 years of coming Whistler, many years we are there 2-3 months over the summer, and the first fall experience for us and the first time staying in Montebello. The condo was everything we hoped for, the kitchen had every gadget and serving dish one could wish for. The layout was excellent for our extended family on 3 nites, and the private hot tub was a really nice bonus in a nice yard like setting with fantastic views.

You are literally a 5 minute walk to the hospital and the Market Place and then the village is right there. The single attached drive was great, and I liked not having to pay $18/nite as is common in Whistler. In our 3 nite stay over a really busy Thanksgiving, we saw very few people in the development, and it is a very well maintained and cared for property.

I would highly recommend for 6-8 people, and would for sure look at booking this condo again. Rebecca was great at follow up, and was very responsive pre-trip, we had no concerns was in property. Thanks!

Nice quiet location, beautiful community and property. A 5 minute walk to the Marketplace Plaza, and just a couple of minutes extra to get to the Olympic Plaza. Perfect for families as this is a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the Village night life, but close enough to walk to most attractions in the area. We hope to be back again next summer!

This was our second stay at Montebello, and our first at this property. Nice quiet location, but only a few minutes on foot to the village. Amenities and attractions are close enough that we never required a vehicle during our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially for families looking for a quiet getaway.

Barbeque looked as though it had been slightly disassembled by a bear, but that was more of a topic a conversation for a few laughs, as it worked fine. Make sure it goes back in the garage at night. We were warned in advance of our stay.

Very happy with the entire experience, from booking to checkout. All communication was clear and concise, and the damage deposit was returned in a very reasonable time.

Well-appointed Townhouse

We were two families sharing this beautiful townhouse for 3 nights. The home was well-appointed and west coast styled. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, and basic food items such as spices and oil. Some of the brackets in the dishwasher appear to be broken and the can opener definitely needs to be replaced but these were minor in the whole scheme of things. The BBQ worked well.

The location was perfect; it's walking distance to the IGA yet far enough away from the noise of the village. We would love to stay at the townhouse again given the right opportunity. Thank you for sharing your home!

This is a beautiful condo in a great location; short walking distance to the village, trails and easy access to the highway as well. The floor plan is very good with the kitchen and living room on the main floor and the 3 bedrooms upstairs. There is lots of room for a group of people. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need in terms of utensils, pots and pans and dishes. The outside area is lovely with a patio, hot tub and grassy area looking up to the mountains. The owner is easy to get in touch e With and very responsive to any concerns. We thourghly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend staying in this unit.

The location of the unit within the development is perfect....does not back to the highway or to blackcomb way. Unit was a perfect size for our family of four, and i can assume would easily accommodate 8 people with comfort. Heating, showers etc were all in excellent working order. The development is perfect for families, not great for party groups (which is why we chose it ). Great experience and no hesitation in recommending this property.

This was our 3rd stay in the Montebello area and definitely the best home and value for our group. We have used another management company in the past and have ALWAYS paid a premium for homes in the area. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels for everyone, and the house was very clean! Hot tub was awesome after long days of riding bikes in the park. Hopefully this home is available for next years trip!

We had a group of 8 adults. There was more than enough room for us to be comfortable and the home was beautiful. Everything was very well maintained, the bathrooms were amazing and the appliances were good as well. All staple items that we needed we're available to us as well.

We would definitely recommend this home to groups of adults or families and would stay here again in a heart beat. The location is also very accessible to the village which is a definite bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at Casabella! We have stayed in Montebello before so we knew what to expect but the owner has done a good job keeping things modern and clean, including the television/video system, which in Canada seems to always be dated. We didn't watch a ton of television but it is nice to unwind some days after a long day on the mountain with a good movie.

Overall, a really fantastic place to stay and the service was quick responding to a couple of requests, including a short extension as we stayed an extra day.

Extremely enjoyable vacation for 3 couples

Highly recommend this house for several reasons: 1. The location is extremely close to the village (about 8 mins to the village and 15 to the lift...or a 2 mins drive to the parking lot next to the lifts) 2. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors friendly, etc. 3. The homeowner was extremely easy and enjoyable to work with. Quick and informative responses and never challenging.

My only comments on the property would be that there were minimal cleaning supplies: dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. and very minimal spices - and that's the only reason I'm marking "amenities" as a 4 instead of 5.

Highly recommend this property.

Stayed there just before Christmas and everything here was fabulous. Kitchen is very well appointed and there were even 'staples" in the pantry to help you start out. The attached garage is great and we really enjoyed the hot tub. There were some board games and the place was immaculately clean and terrific. Rebecca is a terrific owner/manager. will definitely look to stay in this unit again! was great for our 8 people.
