Whistler Upper Village (sometimes referred to as Blackcomb Base or Blackcomb Benchlands) is accessible from Highway 99, one exit after the main village, which is Lorimer Rd. At the end of Lorimer Rd. to the right is Blackcomb Base and the Upper Village or to the left you enter the gateway to an abundance of Blackcomb accommodations in the Blackcomb Benchlands area.
Whistler Upper Village is approximately 2 kms from the main Village area. At the base of Blackcomb, you can take the Wizard chairlift, which meets up with the Solar Coaster chairlift. At the end of the Solar Coaster chairlift, you arrive at the "Rendevous" restaurant and general meeting area. The Peak2Peak Gondola Blackcomb station is here as well, where you can hop on to go to Whistler mountain.
Back down at Blackcomb Base, you can hop on the free Village shuttle that loops around through Whistler Village, to Blackcomb Base and it also services all Blackcomb accommodation buildings in the Blackcomb Benchlands area. The free shuttle operates 7 days a week from 8am to midnight. The frequency is every 10 - 20 minutes, depending upon the season (most frequent in peak winter season).
