Great unit - well equipped and comfortable. Easy access to the ski slopes and nightlife in Blackcomb - No 5 bus was very handy for getting to Whistler and back. Wayne was great with communications, providing us with hints and tips for our stay. We had a great stay in this unit and the lodge has free secure parking, ski storage and is very well located. We trawled the internet for a suitable unit for our stay and Wayne's was spot on - high recommended.

Wonderful accommodations with very helpful and attentive owners. Close to gondola and Blackcomb village. Great layout in condo with lots of storage and room for four. Underground parking easy to access and hot tub was spacious and clean. It was nice to warm up next to the fire after a day on the hill. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and would book this suite again.

We were 3 people staying so one had the sofa bed. As described, this was very comfortable so no problems there. 4 people might be a bit of a squeeze. Wayne was very responsive - we had forgotten to print out the correct check-in information, and had a small snafu with missing sofa bed sheets the first night. All sorted very quickly. The kitchen is very well stocked so you don't need to keep washing up or running the dishwasher. Nice area by the door for ski boots, coats etc. Good hot tub. All very clean.

We'd picked Wayne's apartment partly for the ski-in/out and, thanks to a dump of snow at the end of our stay, were able to ski-in/out for our entire stay. The bus stop is right outside in case the snow level is low in the valley. Walking to the village was straightforward and easy.

Very attractive unit, recently redone, a great retreat after an active (or not so active) day. Well organized, comfortable, and quiet. Easy access to the slopes: a short walk up the road and down the path and you're on the hill to Blackcomb base. Alternatively, the bus to base lifts at Blackcomb and Whistler stops just outside the complex. Kitchen is neat and well fitted if you wish to cook. If not, the bus gets you to the village, and you can also walk.

We recommend this unit, and we are going back!

Very nice unit in a very good location just a 5 minute easy walk to Blackcomb Base, 15 minute walk to Whistler Village, and 12 minute walk to Lost Lake cross country/snowshoe trails. During our visit you could ski in/ski out from trails located across the street from the condo. We had no issues and had a very enjoyable stay.

Wayne Kaart place at the Wildwood Lodge turned out to be quite the gem. It was clean, quiet, cozy, newly renovated and fully equipped with the essentials. The unit owner was a pleasure to deal with and readily available if needed.

Getting from the hotel to the Blackcomb ski lifts is less than a five minute walk. We normally stay in Whistler Village but after staying at the Wildwood Lodge, we can now say that we prefer lodging in Blackcomb. We loved the laid back vibe, the array of shops and restaurants and its close proximity to Whistler Village.

We will definitely return.

We rented Wayne's apartment for 10 nights and stayed 11. It was fantastic. Beautiful apartment, very well equipped with all one can hope for and more. The beds were comfortable.

It was very quiet (except for New Years Eve when the folks right across the hall from us had a party- we only heard them when they were being noisy in the hall, though, not in their room) The apartment's location is terrific. We could ski in and out. It is only a short walk to the village along a beautiful walking path.

Wayne was easy to communicate with and super generous. The apartment was not rented out the day before our arrival so Wayne invited us to check in a day early! We had a great time and will be back!

We had a terrific time at Wayne's condo. It obviously has been recently renovated in a very stylish fasion. The location is great. Although it is not directly on the slopes, you just cross the street, slap on your skis and go off down a short trail that gets you to the Wizard lift. The furnishings and kitchenware worked out well (even though we travel with our own pans/knives). We'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Wayne!

We stayed for five nights at new years. Apartment is lovely, well fitted out and a short ski to the Blackcomb lifts. Bus stops right outside the complex to get to Whistler Town. Our only issue with the stay was that the couch bed was not very comfortable for those staying on it.

Great Location! Very clean and quiet building. Loved the key less code entry for the building and place. Also, very convenient to have free under ground parking. It was a little warm at night but it helped to have 2 fans going.

Quiet, clean and recenly renovated

We very much enjoyed our stay in this condo. The unit was nicely (recently?) renovated so it was in good shape as well as being quite clean. The furniture (including the bed) were all comfortable and seemed new. My husband was pleased with how well equipped the kitchen was, including a good set of quality pots and pans. He was also happy with how dark the bedroom was at night. (Unusual in vacation rentals!)

It's a good location if you are looking for a place away from the crowds and noise. It was a nice walk to the village and very quiet at night. Even though there was very little snow in the village (mid March), we could sort of ski to the lifts by crossing the street and following a short path. We had to take off our skis for part of it but it was much better than waiting for the bus every morning.

Lastly, Wayne was easy to communicate with and seemed very friendly and interested in making sure that our stay went well. We didn't meet him but I contacted him with some questions before we arrived and he answered promptly.

We come to Whistler a few times a year and we will definitely try to rent this unit again. It was one of the best we've found there and we've tried quite a few!

Great property, well located on the hill with good access to the mountain. Not easy ski-in/out but better than most. Easy walk down the hill for restaurants and great for cooking yourself up a storm. Really well fitted out apartment everything you could want for a comfortable stay. We needed to engage the owners regarding the stay and they were great providing prompt feedback and being of every assistance. Would stay there again.

A perfect place to stay for us senior skiers . Ski in ski out is convenient , although a little tricky depending on the snow in the village. Hot tub is fun, meeting other skiers. Great, that there is free parking ! It would be nice to add an endtable with a table lamp for reading.

Winter vacation at the Wildwood

We stayed one week at Wayne's condo in Wildwood. We have stayed in this complex before and most like the true ski in ski out aspect.We used the Jacuzzi every night and the ski lockers are very convenient. The condo was just as described and clean with what looks like recent upgrades in tile work, flooring and paint.

Wayne was very responsive and the welcome package contained all info needed. We would stay here again.
