Suitability of Gleneagles in Whistler

Families with Children: Take advantage of the size and location of Gleneagles in Whistler. Enjoy the freedom of separate sleeping quarters as most Gleneagles units are 3 bedrooms or larger. Children will sleep undisturbed as the location of the Gleneagles is quiet at night.

Couples: Seeing as how the units at Gleneagles are generally larger, couples will have to double up to justify staying here.

Those who Enjoy the Nightlife: Walking from Whistler Village to Gleneagles at night isn’t for the faint of heart.  There are parts of the walk that aren’t lit by street lights, making the 15 minute trek both scary and dangerous.  Vacationers looking to enjoy the nightlife are recommended to stay somewhere closer to the Village or hop on the free shuttle which runs until 3:00am.

Active Seniors: Seniors can enjoy the serenity of the Valley trail during the early hours of the day. In case you’re not interested in the 10 minute walk, please note that free scheduled shuttle buses can get you to the Blackcomb Base in half the time.

Non-Skiers/Riders: Non-skiers can rejoice as the Gleneagles is conveniently located close to a number of non-skiing activities.  During the summer months, guests are only a 10 minute walk away from Lost Lake and are directly alongside the Whistler Chateau Golf Course.

Disabled/Handicapped: Gleneagles units are multi levelled with plenty of stairs. Guests with mobility restrictions are better off staying in a single-level unit closer to the pedestrian village so it's easier to get around.

Gleneagles Amenities

  • Fireplace: Fight that mountain chill with your very own wood burning fireplace.
  • Ski/Bike Storage: Save mountains of money by bringing your own equipment and securing your investment in a safe storage area located on the ground level.
  • Full Kitchen: The one thing that beats great tasting food, is the smell of great tasting food as it’s cooked inside your unit. Experiment and have fun! After all, you are on vacation!

Parking at Gleneagles

Secure Underground Parking Lot: Protect your vehicle from the harsh winter conditions of a winter mountain retreat. Contact the individual lodging operator for parking rates.

Guest Parking: Visitor parking is available on a first come first served basis.

Location Accessibility

Do You Need a Car?: With the free shuttle available to take you to all the major attractions it really doesn't make sense to bring a vehicle. Needless to say, if you do end up bringing your vehicle, there is an underground secured parking lot at the Gleneagles to ensure your car or truck stays safe overnight.

Free Shuttle: You never have to wait too long for the free shuttle; it connects Village North to Whistler Village, and Upper Village to the ski lifts. The free shuttle stops very close to the Gleneagles and can get you to the lifts in about 5 minutes.

Ski Lifts: Hauling your gear up the Valley Trail in the snow is not something many people may enjoy doing. Taking the free shuttle will prove to be a smarter decision.

Equipment Rental & Ski School: Drop the kids off early and hit the slopes at daybreak. Equipment rentals and the ski school can be found at the Blackcomb Base which is just a 5 minute shuttle ride away.

Spas: Inhale the crisp mountain air as you indulge in different forms of hydrotherapy and massages. Both Chateau Whistler and the Four Seasons offer many different types of treatments at your convenience. Either hotel can be found at the Blackcomb Base which is a short shuttle ride away.

Shops & Restaurants: An assortment of shops and restaurants are located at the Blackcomb Base. However, if you need more variety, Whistler Village is nearby and offers much more selection.

Grocery Store: Carrying a full load of groceries on your back for 15 minutes through the snow is something even an Olympian would find difficult. We recommend taking the free shuttle bus to the local grocery store located in Whistler Village North.

Liquor Store: Cold beer and wine can be found at a local shop located at the Blackcomb Base.  A more substantial selection can be found at the B.C. Liquor Store in the Village.

Over the duration of a year, you could go on a tropical vacation, upgrade your vehicle, or make renovations to your Whistler home to further increase your revenue!

Now you have to ask yourself, is all that extra revenue worth the extra 5 minutes a day it takes to check your email?  We along with over 500 Whistler owners like to think it is.

  • Instantly confirmed bookings
  • NO commission charges
