Yes, heli skiing also applies to snowboarders ("heli boarding" just isn't as popular a term). Your heli skiing weapon of choice can be skis, fat skis, or snowboard.

Ability Level

If, at least, you're a strong intermediate skier/snowboarder who can ski/ride blue runs with confidence, then you've met the basic requirement for heli skiing. No previous powder experience is necessary. You're ready to slip into the realm of high alpine powder.

Terrain Selection

Whether you're an intermediate or advanced or expert skier/rider, you'll be clustered with worthy companions of the same caliber. Your group will heli ski the best terrain for the day, hand-picked based on wind, temperature, snowfall, and group ability.
