Whistler Alpine Meadows Location

Whistler Alpine Meadows is located approximately 4 kms or a 5 minute drive from the main Village area. For those without wheels, town bus service is available 365 days a year from early morning to late at night. Fares are nominal at approximately $2/adult (as of September 2009).

If you're more physically-inclined you can walk, jog, rollerblade or bike into the Village and beyound via the Valley Trail. This paved, two-lane path runs all the way from Emerald Estates (north of Alpine Meadows) to Spring Creek (south of Whistler Creekside).

 

Whistler Alpine Meadows Lodging

The Alpine Meadows area is home to many year-round residents that call Whistler home. It has a relaxed, local feel and is a great place to stay if you're more interested in getting back to nature than getting into the nightclubs.

There are a few Guest lodges in this area but owner-direct vacation rentals usually provide the best value as you skip middle agent fees and commissions. You also get more space and kitchen facilities for making your own meals (which should save you even more money on your vacation).
