WELCOME to my Whistler mountain retreat. I have worked to create a place that my family will continue to enjoy and I hope yours will too.

The unit has been furnished with attention to style and comfort. There are two full bedrooms (one ensuite) with a spacious loft equipped as a bedroom with its own deck, windows and full ensuite bathroom.

The high vaulted ceilings give the 1460 square feet an even larger feel. Covered decks off the living room and loft provide great views of the mountains and the valley.

The 3 minute drive or short bus ride to the lifts and short steps to the Valley Trail provide excellent access to downhill and X-country skiing in the winter and hiking, roller blading and golfing in the summer.

Free wireless Internet access, bluetooth compatible sound system, books, board games and 2 TVs and DVDs provide lots of opportunities for activities on and off the slopes.

This is our second year staying at the condo for our annual ski trip to Whistler. This is a homey spacious well equipped condo, including two balconies and a BBQ. It worked perfectly for the 6 of us. Great location. We drove to either Blackcomb or Creekside within minutes, but there is also bus service . When some of our party took the day off , they could easily walk to the Village via the paths.

Quiet and picturesque. The best part of all is that Jim is so helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns, and truly makes us feel we are valued guests in his home. We will be back.

The unit is in Blueberry Hill–less than 5 minutes drive north to the lifts in Whistler Village or south to the lifts at Whister Creek. Or there is an easy walk along the Valley Trail to the Village. Alternatively there is a public bus system with ski racks that stops just outside the complex on Blueberry Drive. A schedule, map and rates can be found at: The route number is 6, Tapley's Connector, and if you use point G on the schedule you will get the bus on time. The bus comes to point G just before it comes to the closest stop to the complex. The bus takes you to the base of Blackcomb and Whistler mountains--The Gondola Transit Exchange (Point V on the bus map).

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days I accept arrivals on any day of the week!.
Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit payment non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 4% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if a replacement booking is available. These refunds issued the first day of your (cancelled) arrival where applicable.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Reservations are not held without payment. Payment is required for reservation confirmation.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. Not responsible for arrival delays.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Emailed when balance of payment is paid. Later for last minute reservations
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Identification Documents I reserve the right to ask all Guests for identification (one with photo) before or during their stay, to confirm their eligibility to book and stay in my property. If asked, at least 1 piece of ID must show your current mailing address, phone number & date of birth. Your name, mailing address and phone number in your booking details, must match your scanned ID. If you are making the booking for someone else, please do the booking under their name and provide their ID if asked.
Guest Stay Contract No signed guest stay contract required. By paying online, you are legally accepting my publicly advertised policies on my web site.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with the cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the orignial amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Earlier check-ins may be possible-please confirm
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. You will be charged $40 if our cleaners arrive and you are still in the suite.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical Guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.

Housekeeping Includes clean on arrival; cleaned after departure; every 6th day if staying 8 days or more. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense.
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless internet is complimentary. No illegal downloads are allowed on this service.
Liability I are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on my property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour pager service. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 people overnight - excess occupants will result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions No noise after 10pm. You will be fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.
Parking & Ticketing Parking information will be provided in your check-in and arrival instructions email. I am not liable for any parking tickets or towing fees you may incur.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $1000 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost of broken or missing common or private property itesm, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behaviour while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is zoned for nightly rentals.
Resort Information Provided with entrance information and direction package.
Terms of Eviction 2 complaints will result in eviction by security service. Will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.

Guarantees Policies

My Web Site Guarantee I guarantee that I will honour all rates posted on my web site at the time that your reservation request is submitted. If any amenity changes after you have confirmed your booking with payment, I will notify you in advance and give you an opportunity to cancel with a full refund.
Reservation Guarantee Property Sale/Damage-I will make reasonable efforts to find you a comparable property. If there is a rate increase with the move, I will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If I fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Snow Guarantee If over 65% of the lifts are closed all day due to rain or inadequate/unsafe snow & weather conditions, I will give you a 50% refund/night for each day that the lifts remain closed. Valid January 3-March 31

The seating is arranged around a gas fireplace. TV/DVD/Stereo are all available. A covered deck with BBQ is accessable from the living area. Books and board games are also available for relaxing moments. High Vaulted ceilings give a tremendous feeling of space.

About Us

I am a retired professor who enjoys relaxing in the out of doors--swimming, skiing, hiking, kayaking and canoeing. Whistler is a wonderful opportunity to do it all. It's only 2 hours from Vancouver but you arrive into a different world. I feel priviledged to have a place there. I am happy to share it with others now that my kids have grown up and moved to other cities.
