About Listing

Welcome to our Whistler vacation home, a spacious and comfortable retreat. Our 3-bedrooom, 2-bath townhouse is located on the Blackcomb Benchlands beside the Chateau Whistler Golf Course between Lost Lake and the Village. You can walk to the gondola at the base of Blackcomb or to the Village, or you can take the free shuttle bus that stops near our complex. The valley trail beside us provides an easy and pleasant route to Lost Lake or connections with other trails for your walking, biking, or roller blading pleasure. It is also a cross-country ski route in winter.

The owners were very proactive in reaching out to me just before our stay and were very helpful. The rooms are generously proportioned and we felt we had actual space in which to unwind, not always something we are accustomed to in Whistler accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this property again.

Owners went out of their way to address any issues in a timely fashion. Skiing at Whistler has become too pricey for the adults but access to Magic Chair allowed us to introduce our grandchildren to skiing and enjoy family time together.

Rates are quoted in Canadian $ per night.  .  No GST (Goods & Services Tax) will be charged.  The provincial government collects a provincial sales tax (PST) of 8% on short term rentals (less than 28 days), as well as a municipal and regional district tax (MRDT) of 3% on the entire cost of the reservation excluding the damage deposit.  VISA or MASTERCARD is accepted through alluraDirect's secure payment system.  It will include a 3% service charge.  We do not charge a separate cleaning fee. The CDN $500 damage deposit is collected with the final payment.  The damage deposit will be returned as a credit to the card used to make the booking minus the cost of any damages or extra cleaning required.

Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00 pm. May be earlier if housekeeping after prior guests has been completed. Must be pre-arranged with us.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.

Housekeeping Rate includes cleaning upon departure of guests. Unit contains washer & dryer for guest use. Additional housekeeping services may be requested during stay at guests' expense.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies 24-hr. emergency service is provided, with the exception of the hours 1 am to 5 am. The emergency number will be included in the instructions emailed to the guests prior to arrival.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 7 individuals. 7 is the max. number we will accommodate. Any more than this will result in additional housekeeping charges and eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize card charge for missing items.
Parking & Ticketing One reserved underground parking stall is provided. Additional "visitor" parking is available in the underground garage on a first-come basis and cannot be guaranteed, particularly in the peak season and holidays.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by guest(s) or visitors of guest(s). Guests must pay for all damages incurred which are over and above the damage deposit paid. This includes the costs from a security company or police intervention and covers any fines imposed on the owners by our strata council.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is legally zoned for nightly rental accommodation.

Terms of Eviction 2 complaints will result in eviction by security service. Will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, or disturbing the peace No refund for remainder of booked stay.

The kitchen is open to the living room, so the cooks don't have to miss out on the conversation. It has been beautifully renovated with granite counters, heated slate floor, and new appliances. There is a good-sized island and several counter stools, great for a spread of apres ski snacks! Everything you'll need is provided -- dishes, flatware, pots, pans, cutlery, blender, rice cooker, wine opener, etc. There are also some staple items, spices and condiments.

The living room is very comfortable with a sofa, loveseat and a leather chair that you won't want to get out of once you sink into it. The cathedral ceiling and open floor plan contribute to the spaciousness of the room. For your entertainment, you'll find a 40" flat-screen LCD TV, DVD and VCR players, CD/cassette stereo and a number of popular board games. With a fire going in the beautiful rock fireplace, the ambience is warm and relaxing.

Dining Area

The pine dining table is ready to seat 6 comfortably. There are two leaves available to extend the table for greater capacity.
