Convenient location and great value!

Our family of 4 had a great stay at this condo, and enjoyed skiing! Location is great for skiing in/out to Blackcomb Gondola. Free Shuttle bus #5 takes passengers to the Gondola Transit Exchange stop and the Whistler Village (and Whistler Gondolas), and came by every 5-15 minutes. We would stay here on our next visit to WhistlerBlackcomb.

Occasional challenge was opening the Ski locker combination lock, which could be temperamental (true for all the ski storage lockers, not just for this condo), and needs just the right touch to open. Thank you!

Comfortable and homey unit

Nice, clean unit that faced east on the backside of the Woodrun complex. Being on the backside helped a bit to shield from the hot sun during the week of our stay. No AC so we had to get creative with fans and cross breezes. Bunk room (den) was warm but the supplied fan helped somewhat. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soap and shampoo plus plenty of towels for everyone.

The Woodrun building is ideally located slope side near the base of Blackcomb which meant easy access to the kids Adventure Zone and upper village area. Also easy access to Lost Lake and the single track mountain biking trails. We appreciated the full size washer and dryer that seemed new as well as the updated appliances in the kitchen. Unit was just big enough for our family of four.

Owner was responsive and trustworthy. Negatives included an elevator that was out of commission during our entire stay and noisy neighbors down the hall. But overall we were pleased with the unit and thought it was a good value.

Thank to the owner (Sandra) for a restful vacation up at Whistler.

Amazing Whistler condo

This is our second time staying at this gorgeous condo, and it certainly won't be our last. The condo is spacious and welcoming. The new carpet is really nice as are all the new appliances. Sandra, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with.

As far as position goes, you could not ask for better ski-in, ski-out, right on the edge of the ski run and a short ski to Wizard chair. Great to be able to ski back for lunch and really nice at the end of the day, to just unclip from your skis, and you are home.

Great ski week, lots of snow and ski to door!

We had a great trip staying here. It was a lovely place, well located for skiing. We loved the ski in and ski out, the hot tub and pool, and the well stocked kitchen. The king bed was very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms handy.

The only issues we had was that the windows all open up to beautiful trees, but as they are very close to the building, it is a bit dark inside at all times. The bedroom would benefit from some stronger lighting to cope with the darkness. Also, we expected the second room to be very small and windowless, but did not expect it to be not much bigger than walk in closet. IĆ¢??d be careful before consigning adults to this room, especially as there is no storage or closets.

But otherwise, we really enjoyed the week and hopefully will be back.

We really enjoyed out stay. We were able to fix dinner, and had my sister& her family over for a dinner and Christmas Breakfast. We really appreciated the cooking supplies and spices. I didn't get a chance to buy more tea, but we did leave some coffee. You know us Yanks, gotta have coffee. The only complaint was that we could not open our ski locker. We tried and tried the combination, but it never worked. Thanks for a fantastic Christmas Stay!

Large, quiet unit in upper village

This unit is perfect! It is super spacious and well laid out. New squishy carpets that were so nice to walk on. All the appliances are also new and easy to use. Plenty of bedding and linens were provided. Wait until you see the boot dryer, best investment ever. No more drying your stuff by the fire all night! Bedroom had plenty of space for clothing. Beds were all comfortable.

The location was perfect. A short walk up or down the mountain to the village. The pool and hot tub at the Woodrun are by far the best in the area. Staff at check in were super friendly too.

I will definitely stay here again

Responsive owner fixed problem

When we arrived our suite hadn't been cleaned. The suite wasn't able to be cleaned so the owner paid for our stay in a hotel. The owner was very responsive in fixing the problem and it was much appreciated especially since it was late in the evening. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property.

Great home base

The Woodrun pool is lovely, and wonderful as it is not heavily chlorinated! The location just a short walk above the Backcomb base family adventure zone, which is what really makes this a great family vacation place. The 2 fans kept us cool enough since the unit is mostly shaded in the trees.

Check in and out is super easy, and front desk staff are nice. It is super quiet - both because you are up the hill from the blackcomb restaurants, etc. and this unit is not overlooking the pool or driveway. It only lacks bright enough reading light in the living room and softer pillows, if that's to your taste :)

It's a remarkable bargain, and we were sad to leave at the end of our week's stay.

Good value but need some improvements

Need new carpets in living/dinning area. Kitchen utensils not clean. Dishwasher should be replaced.

Good bedding in master bedroom but bunk bed in den only suitable for small children. Couches in living room look so old. Dinning table is good.

Faucet control for bath tub in master bedroom not working. We ended up using the 2nd bathroom for shower.

Overall good value for the price we paid.

Thank you for our lovely stay at you condo. We love staying at Woodrun, and your condo is very nice. Love the quiet forest facing position. Love the free underground parking that is provided. Fantastic ski in/ski out, so nice at the end of a long day skiing. Easy walk into the village too. Would be nice to have some salt and pepper in the kitchen and maybe a pack of coffee as a welcome to start off would be nice, but these are just little things that would be icing on an otherwise very nice cake. The bed was super comfy and loved the showers. We would definitely book condo 512 again. Thank you.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful staying at Sandra's Woodrun condo. Her place is cozy and convenient for our ski trip. Free underground parking with dedicated ski locker located right before you walk out to the slope was wonderful. There is boot drier in the condo which is lovely. The condo is full of amenities of a regular home. Even shampoo and soap (Aveda, nice) is plentiful. Beds are firm and supportive. I particularly like the powerful water pressure for a rejuvenating shower. The staff at Woodrun were friendly and owner Sandra were thoughtful and responsive to question. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and definitely will stay again in the future.

Very much enjoyed staying here and would rent it again. Location is awesome for ski in/out. 3 of 5 on facilities was related to no pool towels must bring your own down, lack of signage in the underground parking lot and how troublesome the ski locker locks are. None of these would stop me from going to this location again but worth noting.

The condo was precisely as advertised. The property was a little bit older and showed it's age. The value and location to village was superb - easy access to lift, close enough walk to village, far enough away to avoid rift raft.

A great addition would be a bbq grill on the deck or available on the property's common area. The heated pool was awesome - even believe it was salt water version (not chlorine).

Wonderful Place

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay here! The unit is well furnished and well stocked with everything we needed. The decor is a little dated but everything is in good condition and in perfect working order. My kids loved the bunk beds and my wife and I appreciated not having to share a bathroom with them. The unit has 2 full bathrooms!!

We arrived past 11pm after a long drive up from Seattle. We called ahead and arranged a late arrival and the front desk personnel was very helpful and friendly. They had placed a key in a lock box and gave us the combo for the lock box. This made the late check in stress free.

The convenience factor to this location is hard to beat. Steps outside the provided ski lockers and you are literally on the slope of Blackcomb. After a day of skiing, ski right up to the building and it's just steps back to the ski locker. The large common hot tub feels great to soak our tired muscles and the kids enjoyed playing in the heated pool.

Overall, a perfect family ski vacation! We would definitely stay here again! The only con, if you can call it that, is the unit faces the woods. So the the view is looking at trees instead of the mountain. After a long day of skiing, we actually appreciated having the privacy of just trees outside the window.
