Convenient and Good location

Our favorite location to stay in Whistler is in north village. This unit had everything we needed with all the kitchen amenities. We loved the fluffy new towels, even the separate towels for the pool/hot tub. Location can't be beat with IGA right across the street and bus stop to take to you to lift just a few steps from condo. Underground parking was spacious. Owner was prompt with returning email and flexible with request. We would definitely come back. Thank you.

Convenient unit as described. Local contact helpful in resolving minor maintenance issues quickly and in a friendly manner. Heated floors in many areas was a great plus. Quiet location. Had great cable package with DVR useful for evening TV viewing and not found in many other units. Have stayed in many Whistler condos and this one would be on the positive side regarding maintenance and amenities.

This was a really nice stay on its own merit. It was especially good because of the short term responsiveness from both the owners and alluraDirect. We had a previously booked unit that became unavailable due to water damage. Everyone adjusted quickly to get us booked in this unit instead.

We have stayed in many of the units at the Northstar condos and this is one fo the best. It is very close to the pool, unloading area and bus stop. Northstar is an easy walk to the Village Stroll, groceries and the free ski shuttle. It is easier to ride the Marketplace Shuttle from Northstar to the lifts than walking from many of the closer condos and hotels. This unit faces south so it gets lots of light and has views of both Whister and Blackcomb from the upper level.

Great location: free shuttle to the lifts, across the street from Market place, and short walk to the Whistler Village. The unit is conveniently located so it's easy to upload/load and close to the pool/hot tub. We had few small issues with our unit but the owner responded and resolved them quickly.

This condo is located in THe Stoney Creek Northstar developement. It is located far enough from the stroll to be quiet at night but an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It is very close to the grocery and liquor stores. The free shuttle to the lifts stops directly across from the end of the driveway. The condo is exactly as described. It is clean and well appointed. I would definitely try to book this condo again on our next trip to Whistler.

Great quiet location and terrific interior

Overall a great experience. The parking slot is almost directly beneath the unit, so taking the stairs up leads you 10m from the unit. The lifts are a good 10 min walk so I suggest to drive to drop off your gear at the free storage lockers provided by Whistler / Blackcomb at their bases before coming to the unit.

The only slight complaint is that the unit's heat was off when we arrived - it would have been nice to come into a warm residence! A 12 noon checkout would also be a nice addition as 10am can feel a bit rushed if not skiing that day.

The rental property was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had ample dishes, appliances, and cookware. The WIFI connection was very strong and the TV cable service had plenty of channel selections. The location is near a large grocery store and plenty of restaurants. The owners did an excellent job at providing a well maintained property and all the necessary kitchen & bathroom supplies.

Great place, good value and location. The only disappointment was arriving early and calling owner to see what could be done with our bags until check-in. He never responded. We ended up just going to a hotel for temp storage and, as it turns out, I think the reception at Stoney Creek will actually store your luggage.

Fantastic property in terms of location, services & amenities. Owners were extremely accomodating particularly as we were travelling with Master 2 in terms of providing some age appropriate toys & books - completely unexpected might I add! When heading back to Whistler next time, we will be seeking out this apartment to rent again! It wasn't the newest, but it was homely and we throughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mark & Cathy!

Great Location - Everything as described

We were very happy with the condo.

Pictures were accurate and the description provided in the posting is exactly what we found. Very clean place with all the towels, plates, glasses, pots, pans, cutlery, etc. that you could want. Access to 2 parking spots is a great plus. Even laundry detergent was provided. The kitchen was certainly stocked much better than my kitchen at home.

The condo is in an ideal location right at the entrance of Marketplace Square so shopping for groceries was easy. A 10 minute walk would get you right to the ski lifts or you can take the shuttle. As an added bonus, it's one of the closest units to the hot tub and heated pool - no coat or boots required - just 15 seconds to get there.

No issues working with the owners; they were great and very responsive to emails. Also, great that the front door uses a key code rather than a key/card. That way never have to worry about losing a key or not having one when you get back.

Two small comments - would be useful if the "binder" had a current version of the checkin/checkout info (had to occasionally reference back to email we received as it had more up to date info). Secondly, would be great if a copy of the shuttle schedules could be made available. Would definitely recommend this condo to others.

I stayed at this condo with my family in early july. we loved the layout, location and all the small necessities included inside that made our stay enjoyable. the most amazing part of the stay was the unreal service and thoughtfulness after we had left. we were forced to leave whistler a day early due to the heavy smoke in the air from a wildfire burning north of the village. this smoke made it hard to breathe and my child wife and child were having a difficult time coping.

Having booked and paid for 3 nights and with the smoke being completely out of the owners control i was hesitant to ask for a refund for the night. with the owners under no obligation to honour our request they were unbelievably understanding and so gracious in doing so anyways. we will use this property and recommend it to anyone thanks to its attributes and the owners amazing service and heart.

Good, convenient Whistler location and nice two bedroom unit, especially for the price. Market across the street. Nearby shuttle stop. We drove very little. Overall a good experience--in spite of poor snow conditions! We found things to do--and the weather was gorgeous! It was nice to have the year round pool and spa. Plentiful space in closets, dressers and spacious bathrooms. The soaking tub is especially nice, as are the heated slate floors!

We chose this rental partly for the twin beds in the second room, as our kids just don't share a bed well. Queen bed was comfy, but the twin got a bad review from my teen daughter. Only other negatives are the downstairs living area is a bit cramped, even for a vacation condo, especially with a lot of coats and boots etc. It was Ok for a family of four, but I wouldn't want to put six people in it. (I guess it depends on how much time you plan to hang around the condo--we were there a lot)

Also the unit, although reasonably well maintained and quite clean, is showing its age, but everything works well enough. The kitchen was generally better equipped than basic timeshare kitchens, (I appreciated the rare appearance of a salad spinner!) but seemed to be missing some obvious items, such as a tea kettle, hot pads, and multiple cutting boards. We found the wi-fi to be slow and, to quote my husband, "flaky." The bathrobes described were nowhere to be found. However, overall a very pleasant stay.

This is a good place to stay at in Whistler. Just right across the street from the Marketplace and an easy walk to the village proper. Our family of 4 with kids under 5 fit perfectly in this 2-bedroom home. The layout is perfect for us. Bedrooms on the upper level and the kids' room with two twin beds instead of bunk beds commonly found elsewhere. The bathroom upstairs has 2 sets of doors which make it convenient for everyone to go in and out at the same time. The slate floors on the main level and in the bathrooms are heated. And I must also make a note on the warmth of the whole place. It is very warm. They must have great insulation or something. We kept the thermostat to 10-15, oftentimes even lower, and it was still pretty warm enough to not have to wear a sweater. We didn't have to worry about our kids staying warm throughout the night. And I'm sure it's good for the owners' pockets, too. The only con I would say, if I have to be very particular, is the lighting in the kitchen. Not bright enough and you tend to block it when you stand by the sink and the countertops. We liked the number of dinnerware provided, however. Some rental units we've stayed at in the past had very minimal dishes and we had to run the dishwasher every after meal; but not here. Kitchen is well-equipped. There were also books and games provided although we did not read or play any of them. The windows look out to the resort area. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend to small families or groups.

The condo at the Northstar was awesome! Location was fabulous! We were right across the street from the Marketplace and walking distance to the village. We did not need our car during our stay.
