Older, but very clean unit in the center of the Village Town Plaza. Found the underground parking stalls to be tight, surprised there was no A/C nor a tv in the masterbedroom & that we had to PAY $31.50 per key card for the unit. No hot chocolate packets & welcome wine per other vacation rentals. Love the idea we could rent 2 vs 3 nights. Would definitely rent again.View Full Review

Good location but description needs some updating

This unit is in a good location on the Village Stroll, while there was some noise, it was generally minimal and not too disruptive. The kitchen is pretty well equipped, but the description could use some updating (there was no sign of supplied spices, nor of the video player with a collection of movies from kids age up).
There was plenty of space for our family of 5 (kids aged 10, 9 and 4), but there are some maintenance issues. The kitchen sink tap seems to be broken - we could not consistently find how to set it to produce hot water and instead boiled the kettle or used the dishwasher for washing dishes.
The screen on the second shower does not close at the bottom, leaking water onto the floor. The blind in the lounge room was broken in a permanently open condition, so it could not be closed for privacy or to control the light for the child sleeping on the sofa bed. I reported it on the email address given and have received no response (we have since checked out and moved on).
Check-in was smooth enough, with a detailed description given (although please advise guests which number parking space/s they can use). Reception does not open until 9am and we had to wait to return our key, but they would have been happy to let us leave our car until 4pm if we had needed that.
Could I also suggest a compendium or similar in the unit? It took us a while before we noticed the wi-fi router and the attached username and password. Similarly, instructions for how to use the gas fireplace (i.e. where the control is) and the TV (note also that half of the remotes have corroding or flat batteries) would be useful.
Overall, it is a good place to stay, especially for a family, and really just needs some maintenance and communication issues fixed.View Full Review

This condo is in an excellent location and has everything that you could possibly need to cook at home for a family. It wasn't overly loud outside even though its right in the village and we would definitely rent the place again without question.
The basic spices could use a few additions ( like seasoning salt) and it would be awesome if there was coffee there as well. We did notice that one of the door handles was loose on the bedroom without the ensuite and the drain in the ensuite tub seems like it could use some cleaning as it doesn't drain well. We loved our stay here! We brought my parents along for the trip and they were pleased at all that you had available for us within the kitchen. All directions were easy to follow, except we couldn't figure out the TV but that allowed us to spend more family time together.
There was some vibrations coming from the kitchen which had us worried in the beginning but we figured it was from the neighboring unit either next door or below.
Other than that, it was easy to check in, fireplace is a beautiful addition and the patio was nice to sit on even when the weather was cool. Super spacious for a family or few couples. The location is splendid, couldn't have found a better place!View Full Review

Great location and ample space for 6 although 2 of our group couldn't make it so it was just 4 of us which made the space very comfortable instead of just comfortable! However, our friends thought the guest bedroom mattress was a little springy so opted to sleep on the sofa bed. No other issues except that it took the hot water at least a full minute to warm up in the master bath but once it was warm, there was plenty of hot water for 4 showers between the 2 bathrooms. This rental is good value overall - it's affordable, quiet and spacious and in a good location. The jacuzzi is great to use after a day of skiing. Smelled a bit like someone had been smoking here thought. Entryway: suggest adding a few more hooks to wall. Kitchen: overall fine. some dirty dishes found in the cabinets, 2 of the burners don't work. Some spices available for our use. would suggest replacing the nonstick frying pans. Dining area: overall fine. good overhead lighting here. Living room: sofa / arm chair are very comfortable, nice to have fireplace, TV/cable is good, VCR didn't work. Washer/dryer: great to have. appreciate the laundry detergent. Would be good to have some lighting in this closet. Bedrooms: bed in guest bedroom could be more comfortable. Also, would suggest adding some hangers with clips. Bathrooms: overall, fine. shower door in guest bathroom hard to close. We had a building fire alarm around 3:00am one night. Front desk was not around - would suggest leaving guests with a phone number for after hours help. e.g., locked out by accident without key.View Full Review

Very good location - short walk to the lifts and dinner. However, since the bars are further north, we could actually sleep in peace at night; important with kids in tow. The carpets in the hall and elevator need to be replaced - stained and dirty. The unit was dusty, but otherwise nice and clean. The check in desk took care of any issues very quickly and politely. We've stayed in Whistler many times, and this is the first time we've stayed right in the middle of the village stroll. The location is very convenient. No room in the bike lock-up area to lock our bikes (room was packed with bikes). As for the unit itself, we found it clean and cozy.
The only suggestion I'd make is to add a garlic press to the kitchen collection. Check-in instructions were thorough. We would definitely stay here again.View Full Review

Pros - lots of space, excellent central location, comfy couch, lots of pillows/bedding, we enjoyed afternoon concert/music but is quite loud even with door & windows closed
Cons - (very) late night noise from people leaving nightclub

The initial condition of the unit was disappointing after having stayed there previously several years ago. Upon entering it appeared that someone had been laying on the bed in the second bedroom, and the bedside cabinet was askew and partially sitting in the closet. Light bulbs were missing from lamps and both bathrooms. The oven was very dirty, one of the dining chairs was broken, there were no kitchen towels, and the TV in the 2nd bedroom was not working, and though there were VHS tapes in the cabinet drawer and framed instructions how to use it, there was no VCR. With the record high temperatures, the un-air conditioned unit was very hot, and the large fan we found in the laundry closet was dirty and badly broken. I reported all of the above to the front desk and was able to pick up a replacement fan from them that evening...and the housekeeper was contacted and asked to respond the next morning. Over-all response to the reported issues was good. The housekeeper arrived in the morning, and was GREAT, bringing another fan, with her. Maintenance came our second morning to look at the TV and said it wasn't set up for watching, so I would suggest that it, along with the large cabinet it is housed in, be removed from the bedroom to open up space to walk around the bed. And lastly, the amenities list says laundry detergent is included.View Full Review
