OTHER NOTES

  • Guests will have access to the entire apartment except owner storage. Guests will also have to access two door access fobs, one parking spot, the secure bike room with security cameras, and common hot tub area.
  • The building is MarketPlace Lodge.
  • In the plaza, there are concerts and movies during the summer and skating in the winter. Noise from the events will carry into the condo with windows open and will be muffled when you close the windows. Events typically end by 10pm
  • The building roof is tin. On rainy days, the sound of rain on the tin roof in one of the most calming sounds we've ever heard.
  • No pets are allowed in the building
  • Along with the portable AC, we provide electric fans to help cool the apartment when its warm outside. The portable AC is stored during cooler months.
  • ring your own bike lock to use in the bike storage room. Residents lock our bikes in the same room, and we recommend you do too.

Amazing location/property in Whistler Village! As a first time visitor, we didn't know what to expect in terms of proximity to things like cafes, restaurants, markets, and the ski lifts, but "The Escape" was a perfect choice for our 5 night stay. Why stay here?


1. Very comfortable set up for 4 adults (2 in the primary, 2 in the full-size bunks which are indeed a WIN vs. twin size beds).
2. The living room is fantastic for cozy game/movie nights and a stay at home meal when you want to skip the village.
3. Everything is walkable - large market/liquor store/drug store for the essentials, super cute coffee shops around the corner, right next to the ice rink/children's park, and only a 12 min walk to cross the entire village (we never used the shuttle once).
4. SUPER CLEAN - the 2 bathrooms were a wonderful convenience and the interior is very modern for a ski getaway.
5. In-building hot tub, secure access in and out, and no large bar/club below.
6. The hosts are extremely welcoming, provide all the info you need, and responsive when needed!

Would definitely come back!!!!
