Get off at Blackcomb Springs Hotel to ski to the Blackcomb Gondola or stay on to the Gondola Exchange to Whistler Mountain base and village.

Blackcomb Greens is a short walk to Lost Lake and the Chateau Whistler Golf Course in the summer and a quick shuttle ride to the ski lifts. Featuring a spacious open-concept living area with large picture windows and beautiful views, vaulted ceilings, original artwork by BC artists, and a wood-burning fireplace, this townhome is the perfect Whistler retreat. A breakfast bar and large dining table offer ample seating around the fully equipped kitchen. Off the main living space is a balcony with a new Weber BBQ overlooking the common area garden courtyard and golf course. Ski home at the end of the day or walk to the clubhouse for your round of golf - you could not ask for a more idyllic location!

Main Living Level (2nd floor):

Two spacious bedrooms are located on this level; both bedrooms have king beds with new Leesa memory foam mattresses, 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, down duvets and TVs. This level has a full, shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel racks.

Top Level (3rd floor):

A spacious primary suite retreat awaits on the top level. Rest easy on a new Leesa memory foam mattress with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and down duvet. A private balcony and ensuite bathroom with a separate shower, jetted soaker tub, Toto Washlet bidet, and heated towel rack offer a luxury space away from the rest of the home. A laundry closet is located on the landing of the stairs leading to the upper level.

OUR STORY

Isn’t it interesting how a bad experience can be the catalyst for a great new beginning? We’ve rented many places in Whistler over the years, and no matter how nice the online pictures or how luxurious the description, we got tired of paying top dollar for disappointing accommodations. Beyond the fact that most Benchlands accommodations are surrounded by trees and have no views, there were broken showers, appliances that didn’t work, balls of dog hair in the dishes and places so desperate for a deep clean, the dust and grime made it hard to breathe. Regarding what should have been high end accommodations (and were certainly priced as high end accommodations), we’d routinely hear, “the beds need to be replaced but they’re good enough for renters” or “we’ll wait to fix that oven/shower/faucet that doesn’t work until we do a renovation” or “don’t put anything nice in a rental because people will break or steal it.” This mindset was like nails on a chalkboard to us. It was a particularly bad rental experience with a landlord who was content to leave things broken and dirty while charging outrageous prices that made us realize, we needed to buy our own place. 

There must be other people like us who want a beautiful, high end, meticulously maintained space where they can relax and enjoy time with loved ones, we thought. Having run an AirBnB before, we saw that if you gave people a lovely place to stay, they would treat it well and have a great time. The townhome we chose was fully renovated and updated in 2020 with beautiful hardwood cabinets and paneling, and modern tile bathrooms. With stunning views of the golf course, Lost Lake Park and the mountains, close proximity to ski hills and Whistler village, as well as ski-in access, it had great bones. The place had been rented out with a 4.8 star rating yet we were surprised to find how much upgrading and cleaning was still needed. We scrubbed and polished. We replaced tired, old mattresses with comfortable new Leesa memory foam king beds, replaced all bedding and towels with luxury linens, replaced appliances, repaired everything that wasn’t working perfectly, added a bidet toilet seat, heated towel racks, an 8 pair boot and glove dryer, as well as fine wine and Champagne glasses, a Nespresso maker, fondue pot and many other thoughtful touches. Paintings showcasing local BC artists’ original work bring joyful energy to the space. After months of work, it is finally ready. We are delighted to share our beautiful place with guests who also value beauty, quality, comfort and meticulous attention to detail. 

LOCATION
Blackcomb Greens is centrally located within the Upper Village Benchlands at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. Situated along the Chateau Whistler Golf Course and Valley Trail, it is a 5-10 minute walk to Lost Lake Park and Trails. You can walk to the ski lifts in the winter within 10 minutes or take a quick, free village shuttle (Bus #5). The shuttle will take you to both mountain bases and the main Whistler Village. 

Please note there are two small flights of stairs from the underground parking, a few steps up to the entrance of the townhome, and then a final flight of stairs leading to the main living level of this townhome, which is on 2 levels- the 2nd and 3rd floor, the top levels in the complex.

Guest access

There is one assigned parking spot for the home in the secure, underground garage. Garage clearance is 6’11” and can accommodate a large SUV or pickup. There are several guest parking spaces available at the entry to the garage on a first-come, first-served basis.

Other things to note

Guests must be 26 years of age. Absolutely no parties. Blackcomb Greens is a quiet and peaceful community with strictly enforced quiet hours from 10pm-8am.

Smoking and vaping of any kind is prohibited anywhere in the home and Blackcomb Greens complex.

Bikes are not allowed in the townhome, on the porch or the deck. Taking them into the home would damage the carpet and hardwood paneling in the stairwell. They must be stored on the bike rack in the secure garage. If you have an expensive bike you would not feel comfortable locking in the secure garage, alas, this is not the place for you.

No animals are allowed in the townhome due to host’s allergies.

Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Maximum 6 guests.
