You have snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking and biking right outside the back door!

Upon Booking, the Guest is required to provide Homeowner with a list of the full names and ages of all persons who will be staying at the property, including the Booking Guest. Guest is required to complete and sign a rental contract with all names and ages of all guests on it.

If the arrival date is within 45 days, the full payment is due to confirm the accommodation. If the arrival date is greater than 45 days, 25% of the accommodation value will be due to confirm the accommodation. The remaining 75% balance will be due 45 days before the arrival date. Late payments will result in a cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit amount paid.

The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published. Guests will be evicted and removed from the premises without refund due to any policy breach and damages may be assessed.

In addition to the rental amount charged, the guest is responsible to pay any additional fees, fines, charges, breaches of rental rules, extra cleaning charges, extra garbage removal fees, replacement of missing items, replacement of broken items, missing garage door openers, re-setting of electronics ($500) and any damage to the property. Cleaning fee covers up to 12 hours of cleaning plus removal of one bag of household garbage and one bag of recycling. Any cleaning required over 12 hours will be charged at $50/hour plus tax. Removal of more than the allowed garbage will be charged at $30/bag plus tax.
The Cleaning fee includes basic cleaning of the premises, laundering of one set of bedding per couple or person, one set of towels per person, 4 bathmats, cloth napkins and incidental kitchen towels/cloths for up to 12 hours of cleaning. Any cleaning required over 12 hours will be charged to the Guest at $50/hour plus tax. The Guest is expected to clean the dishes, pots/pans, cutlery and all other cooking utensils used during the rental period. The Guest is expected to put all garbage in the proper receptacles provided in the garage. If additional linens are used, or if a bed linen change is made, an additional charge of $75/bed will apply. Excessive use of towels will also attract additional charges of $10/towel. If the Guest does not abide by these rules, additional cleaning charges will apply.
We cater to families and responsible groups of adults. This is not a party house. The Northwood Chalet is located in a luxury neighborhood where everybody respects their neighbours. The Resort Municipality of Whistler strictly enforces all noise by-laws everywhere in Whistler. Outside noise, outside music and use of the hot tub is prohibited after 11pm. If levied, guests are responsible to pay all fines as well as additional administration fees.
Neither the Property Owner nor Rental Manager shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the Property Owner or Manager and the Guests hereby waive any and all such liability. The Guest booking this accommodation is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms, failing which the said Guest will be held liable to and shall save harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and/or Manager, from any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising as a result thereof. A confirmed reservation by e-mail constitutes notice to Guests of these exclusionary terms and Guests are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing.
