Location

Forest Lane is located at the entrance of Snow Pine Estates just off the Big White Road. This is a small development that is tucked away from the rest of Snow Pines which keep the area quite and tranquil. Quite easy access to the Village & Happy Valley via car or the Village Shuttle which has a stop just a minute away from your front door.  One of the better locations for ski in/out access in Snow Pines. You can simply ski into the back of the unit from Serwa’s Ski Run. Ski out is similar back out to a cat track to access the Lower Snow Pines Ski Access right to 3 lifts.

Policies

PLEASE REVIEW OUR POLICIES CAREFULLY, particularly our cancellation policy. These policies are strictly enforced. Failure to meet them prior to your arrival or during your stay will result in either cancellation or eviction. Minimum age for guests is 25, unless accompanying parents/guardians. We do not require a deposit in advance for damages however by booking with us you agree to pay charges up to $2,000.00 for damage, missing items or excessive cleaning.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money for the proportion of days re-booked. Refunds processed will be subject to a 5% processing fee which will be deducted from the balance repaid. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights, or vacation-related products. Covid 19 Policies: We wish to ensure our guests feel confident that they can book with peace of mind knowing we are making efforts to be as flexible as possible in these uncertain times. If your country, government, or airline has an official nonessential travel restriction in place for the dates of your travel a refund less a 5% processing fee is offered. This policy applies up to 90 days before the booked arrival date. Between 90 days and your arrival date guests will receive a 100% booking credit for the amount paid towards a booking for the same property for future travel up to 12/18 months from the cancelation date. Or you can receive a refund of 95% of the value of the booking less applicable fees. This policy applies ONLY if the following restrictions are in place for your booked dates of accommodation " travel is prohibited due to Covid-19 by governments and or health authorities and or if social gathering limits are imposed that apply to Vacation Accommodation limits that would prohibit your group from gathering" Examples of restrictions: If travel is restricted due to Covid-19 by governments and or provincial health authority restrictions. Government Advisories prohibiting nonessential travel to or from your region Government travel bans, border closures within Canada or from your home country Extensive minimum quarantine periods on either end of travel Airline schedule changes which will not enable you to arrive and depart on your planned dates Credits will be offered only for number of days you were not able to stay in the accommodation for your booked dates due to airline-imposed flight schedule changes Limits of gathering specific to Vacation Accommodation limits as per the Public Health Authority in BC Current guidelines state "Vacation Accommodation is limited to the stated occupancy of the property + 6 visitors at any given time" We wish to ensure our guests feel confident that they can book with peace of mind knowing we are making efforts to be as flexible as possible in these uncertain times.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by the due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Property Sale In the event that the new Owners do not honor your booking, I will make every effort to relocate you to a comparable property at no additional expense to you.
Reservation Changes Please contact us if you need to lengthen or shorten your reservation, and we will do what we can to accommodate. Changes are not guaranteed, and refunds may be treated in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

We aim to reduce waste and our environmental impact by providing large containers of soap, shampoo, body wash, hand lotion and household cleaning products vs. one use disposable items. As such, the consumables mentioned here are used by multiple guests ( before and after each guest stay) . Luxury mountain Vacation Rentals and its subcontract employees will not be held liable or responsible for any quality, tampering, injury to guests or occupants of the rental unit if the occupants use any provided products. Guests use these products at their own risk. We try to ensure a clean and safe product for our guest use. If you are uncomfortable using any of these products, we recommend you bring your own supplies with you for your stay with us.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Fines will be issued if multiple complaints are received from neighbouring properties. Possible evection action may be taken in extreme circumstances.
Forgotten Items by Guest We will return left behind items at an expense to the guest. The nearest postal facility is in Kelowna.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for garbage removal at the time of departure. Waste disposal & Recycling containers are located at the Waste Transfer station located on the Big White Rd.
Hot Tub If provided, treat Hot Tub usage with respect.
Housekeeping For the duration of the 2021/2022 season we will not be providing any additional housekeeping services to guests during their stay in the unit. Special requests for additional supplies will be considered on a case by case basis to ensure safety protocols can be observed for both guests and our staff. If you have specific questions or requests, please contact us.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort.
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 17 People. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11.00pm to 7.00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting from the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11.00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11.00pm out of respect for neighboring guests.
Parking & Ticketing Parking information will be provided in your check-in and arrival instructions email. We are not liable for any parking tickets or towing fees you may incur.

Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $2,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, unauthorized pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is legally zoned for either short term, or long term rental accommodation use.

Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

Snow Guarantee We cannot guarantee snow conditions, which are out of our control. If there is mountain closure during your winter stay, please contact us about a partial refund, which may be possible but not guaranteed.

Property Details

Our Chalet is a bright open and spacious townhome with ample room for a large group. The lower floor entrance has a garage and carport with room to park three vehicles. You enter the Chalet from the ground floor where you will find a boot room and laundry machines. The 2nd floor is the entertainment and living floor. Here you will find an open concept area with the living room, dining room and kitchen. Great views of the Monashee Mountains from this floor and the covered BBQ deck with outdoor seating for up to 4 people. This floor also had two of the bunk bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. The third floor has the master King room with ensuite with large windows showcasing the views. At the back of the unit on the same floor is the access to the hot tub deck and ski in/out access. The large boot room is also located here with plenty of space for all your gear. The 3rd floor also has a Den with a full pull-out Queen bed and a full shared bathroom for the Den and top floor Queen room. The top floor has an open and spacious Queen room.
