Echo Landing is one of the newest developments in Sun Peaks East Village. The unit is well appointed, kitted out with everything brand new and comfortably sleeps 5 with a queen bed in the master bedroom, and a single over full bunk bed in the second bedroom.  Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the main living area separates the two sleeping areas. There are two smart TV's with multiple streaming apps available, cable TV, High speed Internet, a cozy space, fireplace and hot tub will await you after a day on the slopes.

This complex is approx. a 10 minute walk to the main village, and is ski-in/ski-out by way of both the Morrisey Express and new Orient Express chairlifts. Sun Peaks is the second largest ski resort in BC and offers activities all year round.

A good unit for small family

We stayed in this condo with our family of four (with two pre-teens) over New Years in 2020-21.

The owners were very responsive when we texted or emailed them, and check in was easy. The unit is new and very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and had great working space, and there were plenty of little extras in the suite in case one happened to forget a few things. The hot tub was smallish but pleasant (as hot tubs tend to be at the end of a long ski day). The proximity to the P5 parking lot and two chair lifts was nice--easy to ski into and a short walk to where you can put your skis on when heading out. The bunk beds were nice for the kids, and the hook ups for Netflix, etc. were great for evening movies. The heated floors in the bathrooms were a plus, and the walk in closet was a nice bonus in the master to hang clothes as well!

There is a very steep set of about 10-15 stairs to get down into the condo--with ski boots on we went down sideways and hung on to the rail just to be safe. If this staircase got icy, it could be pretty tricky for some people to navigate. Packing supplies up and down was a bit of an adventure, but not untenable. The unit was equipped with a shovel, so just a matter of shovelling once or twice a day.

As listed in the description, this condo is 837 square feet. As a result, the living space is tiny, and we ate our dinners at the bar in the kitchen as there was no space for a dining table. While not ideal, it was ok for us, as our children are small, but a fully grown family would be wedged in pretty tightly to eat a meal. The living room was small, and to be blunt, the couches were cold, hard and uncomfortable. We also had to move the love seat to fully open the door to get to the hot tub. The fireplace was tiny, and because this unit was on the ground floor below another unit, it was very cool in the place (and was only -5C outside at the coldest) which required us to turn the heat up for much of the time. The unit felt less like a ski condo and more like a new, small, grey apartment, which for some might be just perfect.

The master bedroom had a queen-sized bed which was very hard and uncomfortable - a family would be well-served to bring their own pillows. We have stayed in many condos at Sun Peaks and other resorts, and I feel like I can sleep on anything! However, this bed kept both of us awake at night. So much so that on our last night after a full day of skiing, we woke at 5am and checked out with the kids by shortly after 8 because neither of us could sleep :( The kitchen is a 5/5 but the furnishings are not comfortable at all, hence the 2/5 rating.

Saying all of this, the hosts were very responsive and accommodating, the unit was sparkling clean and the kitchen was great: this would be a good unit for a younger family who is ok with a smaller space.

Great stay at your condo!

We had a wonderful stay at this rental! The kitchen is fully stocked and the unit is spotless! TV is awesome, could have used some patio furniture but it is a new unit and I'm sure that will come. Great location, 5 min walk to the village, great hot tub! We only used the master bed and it was comfortable. A few steep stairs to get to the front door that may be a bit challenging with ski boots on!

The owner Jessie was in contact as soon as we arrived to welcome us and left contact info if we needed anything. We have rented several units in Sun Peaks over the years and we are definitely renting this one again!

Beautiful new condo in great location. Clean & new just as pictures described. Fantastic new hot tub, Kitchen was stocked with everything & had extra condiments too. Only negative was no BBQ. Stairs leading down to condo quite steep, but would definitely stay here again & recommend.

The unit is fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, kettle, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.  The kitchen is stocked with coffee and tea supplies as well as some complementary snack bars and a full array of spices is also available for your use.

There are 2 TV's, one in the bunk room and one in the main living room - both with Smart TV functionality and multiple streaming apps loaded. The living room TV also has the Apple TV app so you can access movies and more using your apple id.  A selection of board games and puzzles are available.

The unit has a private hot tub and barbeque

Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise and any resulting complaints received from neighbours may constitute grounds for eviction.
Housekeeping Housekeeping is provided before arrival and after departure. To avoid any cleaning surcharges, please adhere to the check out instructions. Housekeeping is not provided during your stay.
Liability The owners assume no liability from injuries or accidents occurring during your stay in the resort.
Maintenance Emergencies Please follow the emergency instructions outlined in your check in email.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Maximum capacity is 5 people.
