he great room boasts 20' ceilings, plenty of seating and entertainment options. There is a huge deck off the main living area with a BBQ for you griling needs. The lower floor has a seperate large open entainment area, adjacent to the Sauna and Hot which has it's own wet bar. All the electronics are state of the art with a smart home built in entertainment system controlled by various terminals and ipads in the home. All of the bedrooms are quite big and each has their own en-suite full bathrooms. The Chalet backs right onto the ski run for easy access to the lifts. Plenty of parking avauilable with two heated spots in the garage and additional parking in the driveway for more if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the White Cavair. It is very spacious and the location is great with beautiful views. We also enjoyed all the amenities such as the hot tub, steam showers and sauna. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Purchasing a day ticket at Big White Ski Resort just got a whole lot easier, more affordable, and more safe. The NEW Big White Day Ticket will be available for online purchase only starting October 20.

To Purchase an online day ticket:

  1. Head to

  3. Each person must setup an individual profile so that every ticket is assigned to a guest.
  4. Enter your payment details and automatically receive 25% off retail price.
  5. Upon purchase, you'll receive a barcode on your mobile device (or print out, if you prefer!).
  6. When it is time to head to the mountain, proceed directly to one of our new Big White Ticket Pick-Up Boxes located around the resort.
  7. Scan your digital barcode at the pick-up boxes to receive your physical ticket.
  8. Head direct to lift and enjoy your day on the mountain.
  9. Please ski and ride with care and abide by the alpine responsibility code.

Once you have purchased on online day ticket, you can reload the physical card one day at a time, using the WTP number found on the front of the card. Due to possible limited capacity, there may be limited number of tickets available every day so we recommend that you purchase well in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets MUST be purchased online as ticket windows will not be open. Customer service will be available over the phone to assist you.

All tickets are final sale, non-refundable, non-transferrable and MUST be used on the date selected. Be sure you have only one ticket on you at all times as multiple tickets will prevent you going through the gate seamlessly. Please take a photo of the front of your ticket, as it makes it easier to replace if lost.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests

All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money for the proportion of days re-booked. Refunds processed will be subject to a 5% processing fee which will be deducted from the balance repaid. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights, or vacation-related products.

Covid 19 Policies:

We wish to ensure our guests feel confident that they can book with peace of mind knowing we are making efforts to be as flexible as possible in these uncertain times. If your country, government, or airline has an official “nonessential travel restriction” in place for the dates of your travel a refund less a 5% processing fee is offered. This policy applies up to 90 days before the booked arrival date.

Between 90 days and your arrival date guests will receive a 100% booking credit for the amount paid towards a booking for the same property for future travel up to 12/18 months from the cancelation date. Or you can receive a refund of 95% of the value of the booking less applicable fees. This policy applies ONLY if the following restrictions are in place for your booked dates of accommodation " travel is prohibited due to Covid-19 by governments and or health authorities and or if social gathering limits are imposed that apply to Vacation Accommodation limits that would prohibit your group from gathering"

Examples of restrictions:

  • If travel is restricted due to Covid-19 by governments and or provincial health authority restrictions.
  • Government Advisories prohibiting nonessential travel to or from your region
  • Government travel bans, border closures within Canada or from your home country
  • Extensive minimum quarantine periods on either end of travel
  • Airline schedule changes which will not enable you to arrive and depart on your planned dates
    • Credits will be offered only for number of days you were not able to stay in the accommodation for your booked dates due to airline-imposed flight schedule changes
  • Limits of gathering specific to Vacation Accommodation limits as per the Public Health Authority in BC
    • Current guidelines state "Vacation Accommodation is limited to the stated occupancy of the property + 6 visitors at any given time"

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Late payments of 7 days overdue will loose their booking. We consider non payment as a cancelation . See applicable cancelling policies for any applicable refund.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

We aim to reduce waste and our environmental impact by providing large containers of soap, shampoo, body wash, hand lotion and household cleaning products vs. one use disposable items. As such, the consumables mentioned here are used by multiple guests ( before and after each guest stay) . Luxury mountain Vacation Rentals and its subcontract employees will not be held liable or responsible for any quality, tampering, injury to guests or occupants of the rental unit if the occupants use any provided products. Guests use these products at their own risk. We try to ensure a clean and safe product for our guest use. If you are uncomfortable using any of these products, we recommend you bring your own supplies with you for your stay with us.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise If we have reports from neighbours and or security regarding excessive noise we will impose a $200 fine . The strata corporation will fine the owners which will be passed on the guests . Repeated offences by guests will be subject to eviction.
Forgotten Items by Guest We will do our best to locate any items left behind. We will return these items to you free of charge within reason. Some overseas shipping costs are well in excess of $100 . Guests will be responsible for return costs in excess of $50 .
Garbage Removal Please contact us if you have larger quantities of garbage which requires disposal.
Hot Tub If provided, treat Hot Tub usage with respect. Adults & or guardians are responsible for minors while in the hot tub. No minors allowed in the hot tub without an adult present. See posted rules in the hot tub area.
Housekeeping For the duration of the 2021/2022 season we will not be providing any additional housekeeping services to guests during their stay in the unit. Special requests for additional supplies will be considered on a case by case basis to ensure safety protocols can be observed for both guests and our staff. If you have specific questions or requests, please contact us.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Maintenance Emergencies Guests are asked to contact us immediately upon discovery of any maintenance issues which may cause damage to the property. Trades are in limited supply on the mountain and response for emergencies can be over an hour due to proximity to Kelowna.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity If the maximum sleeping capacity exceeds the posted maximum sleeping capacity listed on the website guests will be subject to eviction. We do not allow blow up beds, cots or sleeping on furniture at anytime.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions No noise after 10pm. You will be fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.

Property Details

This amazing Chalet is meant to impress the moment you enter the main floor. This floor boasts vaulted ceilings in the great room where your large group can relax and enjoy the views, many entertainment options and the large gas fireplace . The open concept floorplan creates an inviting space with plenty of room for large groups. One of the homes highlights is the gourmet kitchen with professional applinces and equiptment to inspire the Chef in your group. The dining area is in-between these two open rooms with plenty of seating. Off the great room is a large covered deck with seating for four if you wish to keep the Chef barbequing dnner for your group company. This floor also has the two single rooms, a powder room and a entrance to the heated garage. We move you down to the lower floor to showcase a very large Sauna, 8 person Hot Tub, seperate entertainment area with a 80" TV and Xbox games system, wet bar , full bathroom , laundry and the huge boot room. The top floor is where the three King ensuite rooms are located. Each with their own ensuites , TV's , seating and wonderful views.

Tastefully decorated with a modern yet comfortable feel perfectly suited for a wharm and inviting ski Chaelt in the mountains. Plenty of large windows with ample natural light filtering with screens you can lower to offer privacy. Large open concept living, dining and kitchen area for entertaining groups. On the lower floor there are additional enteratinment areas including a wet bar, private hot tub right on the ski run and a large sauna. All the bedrooms have their own ensuite full batherooms with heated floors and some with steamshowers. Truely amazing!
