Relax in the year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub while soaking up the spectacular mountain views. 

The Ironwood complex is very popular year-round due to its quiet, yet convenient location.  Situated above the Whistler Golf Course on Blueberry Hill, it is close to Alta Lake as well as the Whistler Valley Trail. It is a short 15-minute walk into Whistler village on the valley trail (or less than five minutes on the frequent local shuttle bus service) to all the ski lifts, village stores, restaurants and nightlife! There is plenty of hiking and biking in this area and Alta Lake is a 10 minute walk from the complex, providing paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking.

This suite at The Ironwood was a very nice place to do some resting and relaxation, and we created some memories with our family. With 2 small kids, the only drawback was this it was a short drive to the village, and not walking distance. if travelling without kids, the walk would be about 15-20 minutes. On the other hand, finding parking at this time of year (August) was no issue at all, even with CrankWorx on at the same time.

I would recommend this place, as the hot tub and pool were a nice way to end the day. The suite had everything possible needed in the kitchen, as we did make several meals ourselves.

It truly is a "home away from home" :)

Delightful mountain unit/amazingly clean and comfy

An exceptionally clean unit in a very well kept complex! Hot tub/pool area were clean and the closest public bathroom was clean with a shower and amenities to get washed off after the pool. The unit was lovely with an amazing large picture window and view of the mountain.

Important to us is a good night sleep and the beds/mattresses were incredible! Super soft linens and comfy pillows. Pull out couch was in nice/clean condition along with the bedding. Spacious place and a bonus to have washer/dryer .Convenient path to walk into town, which we even did in the cool evening.

Wonderful winter get away, would love to visit in the summer. Feedback from Carolyn was super quick and really helpful as this was a last minute trip for us and we had many questions.

Cancellations Made by Guests Full refund 30 days prior before arrival. Cancellation 14 days, 50% refund. No refund within 48hrs of arrival. All cancellations will be subject to an additional 4% cancellation fee.

Property Details

Upon entering the condo, there is an open plan living and dining area that features a full kitchen with everything that is required to cook up a big family meal or just a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or the trails. In the spacious sunken living room, there is a gas fireplace to cozy up to after a day of exploring the mountains.  This unit features a large wrap around balcony, flat screen TV, and the dining area seats up to 6 people.  The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. The unit has in-suite laundry, free WiFi and cable.  There is also a common area BBQ, heated pool, hot tub and free underground parking.
