Welcome to Ironwood! This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, corner unit has mountain views with air conditioning for those hot summer nights and a gas fireplace to warm up on those cold winter nights! Relax in the year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub while soaking up the spectacular mountain views. 

The Ironwood complex is very popular year-round due to its quiet, yet convenient location. Situated above the Whistler Golf Course on Blueberry Hill, it is close to Alta Lake as well as the Whistler Valley Trail. It is a short 15-minute walk into Whistler village on the valley trail (or five minutes on the frequent local shuttle bus service) to all the ski lifts, village stores, restaurants and nightlife!

There is plenty of hiking and biking in this area and Alta Lake is a 10 minute walk from the complex, providing paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking.

Beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the mountains. Everything was spotlessly clean and we really appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts. We were generously given a late checkout which made our last day really enjoyable and relaxed. We would highly recommend.

Fabulous Apartment

Fabulous apartment, absolutely spotless. Very comfortably furnished with lots of lovely finishing touches, ie fairy lights, candles etc.

The views from the wrap around balcony are amazing. The kitchen is really well equipped and it was great to have coffee, tea etc provided so we had no need to visit the supermarket on our way to the apartment. Beds are super comfy with lovely soft bed linen. A fifteen minute walk down the valley trail into the centre of Whistler and the number 6 bus stops right outside the apartments if youâ??re carrying skis etc.

The owners were very helpful and responded immediately to any questions. Cannot recommend highly enough. Would definitely choose this apartment if we visit Whistler again.

A great place to bring your family.

We loved our stay at Carolyn's apartment at the Ironwood. The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Every thing was spotlessly clean.

The rest of the resort was very clean but the spa area could do with some maintenance as some of the spa jets were not working or adjustable. Having said that we still made very good use of the spa and the pool.

Having the bus stop opposite the entrance to the Ironwood made getting to and from the village very easy so long as we remembered to buy our tickets from the visitor centre or have enough change for the fare (not so easy in the age of the credit card). We also loved the walk in to Whistler village beside the golf course.

This is a great spot for a long or short stay at Whistler and we would stay here again.

Excellent property. Spacious. Beautiful views. Comfortable and cozy. Very nice living area space. Lots of storage space. Well equipped. Quiet, but 5 minutes from Whistler Village and skiing. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Perfect for a family of 4, but easily accommodates guests for dinner.

The only area for constructive improvement would be to improve the lighting in the living area. An extra lamp or 2 would be helpful.

"Home away from home"

This suite at The Ironwood was a very nice place to do some resting and relaxation, and we created some memories with our family. With 2 small kids, the only drawback was this it was a short drive to the village, and not walking distance. if travelling without kids, the walk would be about 15-20 minutes. On the other hand, finding parking at this time of year (August) was no issue at all, even with CrankWorx on at the same time.

I would recommend this place, as the hot tub and pool were a nice way to end the day. The suite had everything possible needed in the kitchen, as we did make several meals ourselves.

It truly is a "home away from home" :)

Delightful mountain unit/amazingly clean and comfy

An exceptionally clean unit in a very well kept complex! Hot tub/pool area were clean and the closest public bathroom was clean with a shower and amenities to get washed off after the pool. The unit was lovely with an amazing large picture window and view of the mountain.

Important to us is a good night sleep and the beds/mattresses were incredible! Super soft linens and comfy pillows. Pull out couch was in nice/clean condition along with the bedding. Spacious place and a bonus to have washer/dryer .Convenient path to walk into town, which we even did in the cool evening.

Wonderful winter get away, would love to visit in the summer. Feedback from Carolyn was super quick and really helpful as this was a last minute trip for us and we had many questions.

Beautiful Whistler Escape

Beautiful, large, quiet condo - GREAT value for the money. The location is perfect.

The bus stop is right in front of the building (perfect for days that we want to aprés on the mountain!), or it's a short 5 minute drive to any of the free lots on Blackcomb. My parents used the Valley Trail to walk to the Village, and took the bus back. And what a beautiful setting! We loved the view of the snow cats on Blackcomb that lit up the mountain at night.

The unit is outfitted with everything you need to make you feel like you are at home, including a cozy gas fireplace. And there are plenty of hooks and space for all your ski gear. The building itself has been nicely updated - so hot tub/pool facilities clean and neat. Underground parking and ski locker that fits 4 pairs of skis, a bonus.

We will definitely be coming back!

This is a great vacation rental, from the outside we were a little hesitant as it looks a bit weathered. However, the unit is clean and spacious and some updating is occurring in the hallways. The location is approximately 15 minutes from the village and about the same distance from Alta Lake. The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day.

All in all this is a tranquil location very peaceful and quiet!

This condo is perfect for a get away- 25 minute walk thru a lovely paved trail right to the village or a 5 minute drive. It is quiet - nicer to stay outside the village away from the crowds, noise & relax.

The pool & hot tub were appreciated by our teenage nieces. Nice view of the mountain from the suite and the pool area. The kitchen had all the equipment you could possibly need- sunken living room adds character- this is an " end unit" so it felt more private.

We will definitely stay here again.
