Beautifully spacious apartment in great location

This is a wonderfully spacious property, with all the comforts of home. Entering the property, the ski storage area is roomy with tonnes of hanging space for all out jackets and as well as all our ski and walking boots. There is a wardrobe for ski bag storage and a seat to put on and take off boots. Ample storage for all our bags and skis, and 8 of us had at least 2 pairs of skis each. Upstairs, the living area is spacious and very comfortable.

The amenities here are superior. Wireless bluetooth speaker. Cable television, large screen, DVDs, reading material, and fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil and implement one would want. It made cooking an easy pleasure. We also used the BBQ on the verandah which was fabulous. The bedrooms were roomy with enough storage for everyone. The 3rd level space was an added bonus. With study desk for our children who have big exams this year, they were able to study in down time from skiing with books left upstairs and study lamp.

Each bedroom had full cable TV. Andrew, the host was very responsive to all enquiries. I asked him about access to the Australian Open Gland Slam tennis, and he even went to the trouble of adding stations for me so that I could watch it. Absolutely unbelievable. The free shuttle stop is out the front and the village trail into Blackcomb is also out the front. We did not have a car, but the parkade had plenty of visitor spots which is always a bonus.

Great property with ample

Myself and 7 other adults used Andrew's property for a 13 night stay during the summer. The apartment was easily big enough for the 8 of us with the 2 doubles and 4 bunks.

Foxglove is a quiet development just off blackcomb with a 15/20 minute walk from the main village ( but we made good use of the free Number 5 and 8 bus service during the summer which was a big help ) . 10 minutes from lost lake was a bonus with great cycling and walking trails close by too.

Overall a great value property with well laid out communal areas and balcony too. Would definitely recommend. Both the owner and Matt from Allura were very attentive with correspondence in the lead up to our stay as we had come over from the UK. Many thanks

About Us

We live in Big Wave Bay, Hong Kong, with our two boys Josh and Luke and our three dogs. As you can probably guess from the village name we live an outdoor lifestyle, spending lots of time in the surrounding mountains and sea.
In 1998 Oonagh and I spent the ski season in Whistler. We were so taken by the place that we bought an apartment there and have been back at least once a year ever since. Our sons have grown up skiing there.
We now own a couple of places there and we hope that our guests find them as homely and welcoming as we do.
