Easily the best located apartment in the Marquise complex - the external door was like our own private entrance! The apartment is lovely! Very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a 3 week stay here. The Blackcomb slopes are across the road, so ski-in/ski-out, and the free bus stops right outside to take you to town or Whistler mountain. The valley trail is a lovely walk, or you can walk down the mountain to the bars and restaurants! We will definitely return!

This place is sparkling clean. We enjoyed our stay. The best bed and bedsheet i had ever slept on. No smell. Highly recommended. We will come back again. The only problem is the keyless door. We have to enter the code so many times. The pool is under renovation though but its ok.

Alvina and Wolfgang's condo is convenient and comfortable. It is a bit small, but then it's Whistler. We couldn't possibly afford a Whistler condo big enough to be really comfortable. The place is well-equipped. It has a nice sound system to which I connected my iTunes library by bluetooth. The kitchen is very well equipped with a couple of exceptions - it would be nice to have some left-over containers and perhaps some basic condiments and spices. But a quick visit to the IGA in the Marketplace took care of these needs.

We have stayed in the Marquise several times. It is very convenient to Blackcomb base.

We had a great 11 night stay in this apartment end Feb / beginning Mar 2019. Everything you could possibly need is provided, the kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, crockery, glasses, gadgets etc. We are Whistler regulars and this holiday we ate at "home" more as it was so easy and a really comfortable place to be.

The underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen is great! The bathroom is finished to a really high standard with more fluffy towels provided than you could ever need. The location is great, we always stay in this part of town as it's nice and quiet, the slope is down a short track on the other side of the road and it's so easy to walk into Whistler rather than waiting for the bus. The bus does stop right outside the building though if walking isn't for you. The owners were always swift to respond to emails and always friendly and helpful.

We will probably be traveling to Whistler with friends next year but next time we visit as a couple we will book this accommodation again. Highly recommended.

Great location with a short walk straight onto the snow fields! 5 minutes from centre of Blackcomb village (which is nice and relaxed compared to Whistler); 10 min walk to Whistler Village or a bus straight outside the apartment complex with a free shuttle.

Apartment was cosy, warm, and had everything you needed. It wasnt very modern but that didnt bother us! The heated pool and hot tub in the complex was amazing to soak the muscles after long days on the slopes.

Owners were quick to respond when a fuse cut the electricity and it was sorted. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this lovely snug home over Christmas. We had a wonderful stay. The whole apartment was thoughtfully set out and perfect for our needs. We had plenty of space even though we are a family of four. The other thing we weren't expecting was how quiet the whole apartment was. It was a real retreat set back from the hustle and bustle of Whistler, but it was literally a quick walk from the Blackcomb gondola. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Being close to trails, one can easily walk around Whistler or escape on a bike ride or extensive walk. Soaking in the tub afterwards is always a treat, especially with those amazing towels!!! Wonderful location to spend the weekend in Whistler. Just above Blackcomb, far enough away from the busy village, but not too far to stroll into town. Backside of property with a patio and chairs for a quiet morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

Kitchen well fitted-out. Sheets and blankets lovely. (I've stayed at many other spots which use commercial cleaning companies and the bedding is not the nicest).

My family of 4 had a wonderful time at Whistler and this condo was perfect for our needs. The owners were very quick to respond to my emails and was very welcoming.

There was plenty of space for all 4 of us. It's a short 5 min walk to the slopeside of Blackcomb and at the end of the day, you can ski almost right back to the front door of the building. The provided ski locker in the garage is also very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Overall, it was a great place and location.

I have no hesitations in recommending this property.

Lovely clean, warm and relaxing apartment on the ground floor. An easy 2 min walk to the ski in to Blackcomb base, and ski out to the doorstep pretty much! Much quieter than Whistler Village which was a big positive, although longer and harder to do grocery shopping.

Only feedback would be it would be great to leave a few of the leftover basic food items that every guest undoubtedly buys - salt, pepper, oil, herbs, spices, cans etc. As most people are travelling so far away they have to buy everything from scratch and won't use up everything. Totally understand not leaving out open items, but it seems such a waste for everyone to buy (and waste) so much food every stay!

Very nice accommodations, very clean and well looked after. The kitchen has lots of supplies and the linens are all very nice and new. The location is perfect. We love staying away from the noise of the village, but close enough to walk down or take the free shuttle. It’s basically ski in and out, you just have to cross the road and walk a short distance, easy enough. We’ll stay here again

Wolfgang and Alvina were very responsive to questions I had before arrival. Upon arrival, the accommodations were clean and well appointed. The heated floors and fireplace were fantastic. While it may not be ski in/out, accessing the Wizard Express lift on Blackcomb is ridiculously easy (less than a 5 minute walk). There's also a path across the street that allows walking access to Whistler Village. Super convenient location, competitive pricing and cozy lodging. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and cosy. It has everything you could possibly need including small blender, so my wife made me a healthy smoothie before we went skiing! For us the location was perfect! You just cross the road and ski down to the bottom of the lifts. Since it is on the hill and not in the village, at night it was quiet. The apartment is at the end of the building, so it was quiet even from the hallways and there is a little exit right next door that gets you out, which was very convenient. There is an underground garage, which was very convenient. The place is just the right size for two people even though it could probably fit four. It has a newly renovated bathroom which was very appreciated by my wife. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends.

Compact, well designed quiet unit

We love staying in the Blackcomb area, it is far quieter than other areas of Whistler and is supported by a free bus service to the Whistler bus loop / bottom of the gondolas. Although the Marquise building itself is starting to look a little shabby (hallway carpets for example), this suite is modern and appears to be newly renovated.The unit is compact but well designed so as to best use the space available and is therefore well suited and equipped for two people. I do not like the fact that parking is an incremental cost but the Marquise is not the only complex that does this.

We had a very nice stay in the condo for a 7 night ski trip. The condo was as described and the owners are very responsive. No concerns at all. Plenty of linens and towels. The condo is true ski in ski out and the location in the upper village is most convenient for skiing. The Jacuzzi is nice and the outdoor pool very pleasant in the winter. Visitors should know that there is no front door staffing or front desk at the Marquise. Nice ski storage room and it exits right to the ski out trail. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great spot. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need. The complex has a great hot tub (covered, so you don't have to expose yourself to the frigid air) and pool. The lockers are easily accessible from the parking lot. Walk across from the main entrance and gain easy access to the hill, and watch for the "Marquise" sign on the side of the hill when returning and ski all the way down to the Marquise (well, just across the street. If you walk out the garage, cross the street and walk a very short way, there's a walking path to the base of Blackcomb. We didn't touch our car once during our stay. Great deal.

Wonderful Unit in Upper Blackcomb Village

Great unit in a quiet neighbourhood. It was so nice and homey, it felt more like staying with a friend rather than a rental. Ground level entry so no waiting for elevators. Doors were coded so no worrying about forgetting the key. Easy check in and out. Wolfgang and Alvina were easy to contact and were quick to answer any questions. Unit was stocked with plenty of linens and towels for the pool. The washroom was fully loaded with all sorts of sundries and toilet paper too. Comfy beds and furniture with lots of closet space in the bedroom. The unit is far enough away that you don't hear all the village noise ex. snowplows, apres crowd, bar crowd, but close enough to walk right onto the run on Blackcomb. (5 minute walk) The heated floors in the kitchen and the washroom made me not want to leave. Wifi was fast and the cable package was good too. Parking in the underground was a little expensive, but after unloading our luggage I parked the car in the whistler day lots for free as I knew I wouldn't need the car for the week (be sure to move the car at least once or you might get a ticket). I felt this place was a great value and I'd like to stay again. Thanks for the stay!

Our stay at Wolfgang and Alvina's place was lovely! The condo is exactly as depicted in the photos. Just a hop and skip from Whistler village, so very close to all the restaurants and shops.

My wife and I stayed here during BC day long weekend. We have never used alluraDirect.com before, so we were a bit hesitant to book through the site. In any case, everything worked out perfectly. The owners were fast to respond and answer any questions we had. The unit itself was very clean and had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. They were stocked as if you were living at home, which is great as it means you don't need to pack as much.

Would definitely recommend if you're heading up to Whistler. It's a quiet area and free parking is usually available along the street.

Very clean, comfort bedding, heated floor in kitchen and bath is awesome! Full kitchen and accessories even got chopsticks! Hot tub down stairs is hot, not warm! Very close to blackcomb lift, description says 5min. Maybe for ski boots, but with snowboard boots I say 3min.

Wolfgang and Alvina have the perfect place for 4 people to stay comfortably. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of towels and blankets as well as laundry and dish washer soap. Everything is well cared for too! It is just a short walk to the ski hill. We enjoyed the hot tub and met some really nice people. The building is quiet and kept up really nice.

Visiting Whistler was the last leg of an amazing family holiday to the U.S. And Canada. My family and I had the most amazing trip it was truly unforgettable, this home we stayed in for 12 days was wonderful just perfect for a young family. The facilities were great, the home tidy and clean and very close to the village.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in your condo. I rent condos regularly and I have to say that yours is the most well equipped one I have ever rented. From fans to umbrellas to the best kitchen ever, it was perfect. The location was great with a beautiful little patio to enjoy the early afternoon sun.

The unit was very quiet and very comfortable and the hosts even obliged us with an early checkin. Looking forward to coming back for ski season.

Very comfy home feeling. Super clean and well kept. It did took me a bit to figure out the parking (like where to purchase ticket and where to access the parking lot). Thank goodness they have fans, it was a super hot this summer. We would recommend and would like to visit again.

We were immediately disappointed that there was a daily parking rate of $16 that hadn't been mentioned anywhere. Once we unpacked and went out to explore we saw that there was free street parking available (during the summer). However, that was the only glitch to the stay.

The suite was clean and big enough for our family. It was nice to have a separate bedroom. The location was sooo quiet. We had a 10 minute walk to the Blackcomb village to enjoy the market, restaurant and Peak to Peak. The Whistler village was another 10 minutes. Lost Lake was a 20 min walk the other direction ( you have to walk as there isn't parking available )

Overall the value was good and we would stay there again.

The unit was lovely and in a quiet area (upper village).. It was about a mile to the lower village area and easily walkable in about 15 minutes. There is a small market in the upper village about 6-7 minutes (walking) from the unit. Wolfgang was very responsive and easy to work with when we had some glitches with the reservation program. Would not hesitate to rent this unit, or from Wolfgang, in the future.

We have stayed in over 30 different units in Whistler and this was one of the cleanest and best appointed units in this price range. Pots and pans were new or close to it, everything in working order and great condition. Plenty of extra appliances and amenities. High quality toiletries and linens provided.

This is a rare situation in condos that see their share of abuse and are cleaned by lackluster service providers. The Marquises may be dated, but it is well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. It was very clean and taken care of. The amenities could use a pizza pan for cooking a frozen pizza. All the appliances worked great. We loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood and was great to sleep all night without getting woke up at 2 a.m. Even though we weren't able to ski in and ski out, it's just a short walk to the lifts or a bus ride to either Whistler or Blackcomb base.

Would like to stay here on a good snow year. The owners were very responsive to any issues we had and everything was resolved in a speedy fashion. The skiing was great. Whistler is so big, that you can always find some good snow.
