Alvina and Wolfgang's condo is convenient and comfortable. It is a bit small, but then it's Whistler. We couldn't possibly afford a Whistler condo big enough to be really comfortable. The place is well-equipped. It has a nice sound system to which I connected my iTunes library by bluetooth. The kitchen is very well equipped with a couple of exceptions - it would be nice to have some left-over containers and perhaps some basic condiments and spices. But a quick visit to the IGA in the Marketplace took care of these needs.
We have stayed in the Marquise several times. It is very convenient to Blackcomb base.

We had a great 11 night stay in this apartment end Feb / beginning Mar 2019. Everything you could possibly need is provided, the kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, crockery, glasses, gadgets etc. We are Whistler regulars and this holiday we ate at "home" more as it was so easy and a really comfortable place to be.
The underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen is great! The bathroom is finished to a really high standard with more fluffy towels provided than you could ever need. The location is great, we always stay in this part of town as it's nice and quiet, the slope is down a short track on the other side of the road and it's so easy to walk into Whistler rather than waiting for the bus. The bus does stop right outside the building though if walking isn't for you. The owners were always swift to respond to emails and always friendly and helpful.
We will probably be traveling to Whistler with friends next year but next time we visit as a couple we will book this accommodation again. Highly recommended.

Great location with a short walk straight onto the snow fields! 5 minutes from centre of Blackcomb village (which is nice and relaxed compared to Whistler); 10 min walk to Whistler Village or a bus straight outside the apartment complex with a free shuttle.
Apartment was cosy, warm, and had everything you needed. It wasnt very modern but that didnt bother us! The heated pool and hot tub in the complex was amazing to soak the muscles after long days on the slopes.
Owners were quick to respond when a fuse cut the electricity and it was sorted. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location to spend the weekend in Whistler. Just above Blackcomb, far enough away from the busy village, but not too far to stroll into town. Backside of property with a patio and chairs for a quiet morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.
Kitchen well fitted-out. Sheets and blankets lovely. (I've stayed at many other spots which use commercial cleaning companies and the bedding is not the nicest).

My family of 4 had a wonderful time at Whistler and this condo was perfect for our needs. The owners were very quick to respond to my emails and was very welcoming.
There was plenty of space for all 4 of us. It's a short 5 min walk to the slopeside of Blackcomb and at the end of the day, you can ski almost right back to the front door of the building. The provided ski locker in the garage is also very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Overall, it was a great place and location.
I have no hesitations in recommending this property.

Lovely clean, warm and relaxing apartment on the ground floor. An easy 2 min walk to the ski in to Blackcomb base, and ski out to the doorstep pretty much! Much quieter than Whistler Village which was a big positive, although longer and harder to do grocery shopping.
Only feedback would be it would be great to leave a few of the leftover basic food items that every guest undoubtedly buys - salt, pepper, oil, herbs, spices, cans etc. As most people are travelling so far away they have to buy everything from scratch and won't use up everything. Totally understand not leaving out open items, but it seems such a waste for everyone to buy (and waste) so much food every stay!

Our stay at Wolfgang and Alvina's place was lovely! The condo is exactly as depicted in the photos. Just a hop and skip from Whistler village, so very close to all the restaurants and shops.
The owners were very easy to deal with and having a key code for the place was great! (The pool was nice too!) We would not hesitate to rent this property again and/or recommend it to friends and family... Thanks Wolfgang and Alvina!

My wife and I stayed here during BC day long weekend. We have never used alluraDirect.com before, so we were a bit hesitant to book through the site. In any case, everything worked out perfectly. The owners were fast to respond and answer any questions we had. The unit itself was very clean and had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. They were stocked as if you were living at home, which is great as it means you don't need to pack as much.
Would definitely recommend if you're heading up to Whistler. It's a quiet area and free parking is usually available along the street.

Very clean, comfort bedding, heated floor in kitchen and bath is awesome! Full kitchen and accessories even got chopsticks! Hot tub down stairs is hot, not warm! Very close to blackcomb lift, description says 5min. Maybe for ski boots, but with snowboard boots I say 3min.

Wolfgang and Alvina have the perfect place for 4 people to stay comfortably. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of towels and blankets as well as laundry and dish washer soap. Everything is well cared for too! It is just a short walk to the ski hill. We enjoyed the hot tub and met some really nice people. The building is quiet and kept up really nice.
We had a chance to talk to Wolfgang and Alvina, they are very helpful and delightful to visit with. We look forward to coming back again.

Visiting Whistler was the last leg of an amazing family holiday to the U.S. And Canada. My family and I had the most amazing trip it was truly unforgettable, this home we stayed in for 12 days was wonderful just perfect for a young family. From fans to umbrellas to the best kitchen ever, it was perfect. The location was great with a beautiful little patio to enjoy the early afternoon sun.

We were immediately disappointed that there was a daily parking rate of $16 that hadn't been mentioned anywhere. Once we unpacked and went out to explore we saw that there was free street parking available (during the summer). However, that was the only glitch to the stay.
The suite was clean and big enough for our family. It was nice to have a separate bedroom. The location was sooo quiet. We had a 10 minute walk to the Blackcomb village to enjoy the market, restaurant and Peak to Peak. The Whistler village was another 10 minutes. Lost Lake was a 20 min walk the other direction ( you have to walk as there isn't parking available )
Overall the value was good and we would stay there again.

Actually the notice about the required parking tickets is published on the website which you access when reviewing the property before you make a reservation as well as in the owners manual which is placed in the unit.

We have stayed in over 30 different units in Whistler and this was one of the cleanest and best appointed units in this price range. Pots and pans were new or close to it, everything in working order and great condition. Plenty of extra appliances and amenities. High quality toiletries and linens provided.
This is a rare situation in condos that see their share of abuse and are cleaned by lackluster service providers. The Marquises may be dated, but it is well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. It was very clean and taken care of. The amenities could use a pizza pan for cooking a frozen pizza. All the appliances worked great. We loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood and was great to sleep all night without getting woke up at 2 a.m. Even though we weren't able to ski in and ski out, it's just a short walk to the lifts or a bus ride to either Whistler or Blackcomb base.
Would like to stay here on a good snow year. The owners were very responsive to any issues we had and everything was resolved in a speedy fashion. The skiing was great. Whistler is so big, that you can always find some good snow.
