The layout of unit 23 is excellent and works well for a family of 6 skiers (all adults) with enough room at the base of the stairs for all of our skis and boots. There was some tossing of coins to decide who slept on the murphy bed, but it turned out to be quite comfortable and the two couches were appreciated for a group this size to socialize. The round dining table worked well for both meals and games. Although the kitchen was generally well stocked, several of the pots needed a wash before use. Heated floors in the kitchen and washrooms was a nice touch; however, kitchen linens were minimal and the washroom towels needed a refresh. The covered parking for the unit was close by as was the hot tub. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very comfortable property and nicely out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the main village but still within walking distance.

Great property on the free #5 bus line. Quiet and well-appointed unit. Property clean and hot tub was nice and hot. Front door latch to unit a bit sticky and difficult to open - needed a firm shoulder to Push open the door. Also no firewood provided or parking pass (had to stop at Strata office to get a parking pass). Owner communication and responsiveness was prompt. Would definitely recommend this property despite the inconvenience.

Awesome. Another wonderful getaway to Whistler, and staying again in your home was wonderful! Thank you. Beautiful walk to upper and lower villages, and so close to Lost lake and all it has to offer. This is a well appointed unit on the top floor and in a very quiet neighbourhood. We were 3 adults, 1 kid and a dog and it was perfect. The heated floors in the bathrooms and the kitchen were lovely! It was also nice to find a few games available to play as a family. We really liked the proximity to the valley trails, Lost lake and Blackomb village and lifts.

Our stay was very nice. We were so close to Lost lake which was great as everytime we have gone there in the past, you need to be dropped off as you can not park. We were a beautiful short walk to the lake and all trails. our dogs loved being in this area. We usually stay across from the village, and this was such a nice change. Quiet and so full of places to walk and lots of trails. Was nice having a bit longer walk to the village as you could enjoy the beautiful scenery. Comfy place with lots of sleeping room. Very much enjoyed staying at this place and would love to come back for another little get away. Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

Great size for a family or small group of friends. Kitchen and BBQ were convenient, although the BBQ could use an update. Rooms were decent size and the place was decorated nicely. The floors could have been abit cleaner, but understandable in the summer when it is so easy to track in dirt from the bike park.
The location is peaceful and quiet although a bit far from things, which is a plus for us (we did know this going into the rental but something to be aware of). The shuttle to the village is right in front of the complex, which is helpful. Also a very short walk to Lost Lake beach and trails.

Good - This condo was great! The place was clean with an awesome location to Lost Lake. We were four guys and we had plenty of space to move around, eat and cook. The neighbours were great - always up for a chat on our way to or from the bike park. TV and internet worked well for our stay. Would recommend this place for sure.
Improvements - No fitted sheet or sheets on pull out bed - had to sleep on mattress | No propane for BBQ | Hot tub was wicked after a long day in the park, but was full of tree debris with no way to get it out. | Stairs to get in a out of the unit sucked after the 1st ten trips! LOL

The free shuttle (Bus no. 5) was right outside the complex and worked for us. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all utensils and enough towels and linens. Beds were comfy and having the murphy bed was so much better than a pull out couch! We would stay here again.

We very much enjoy staying in the Lost Lake area of Whistler- it's quiet, but close enough to the village and its amenities, especially with the free shuttle, that you have the best of both worlds.
My wife and I, our two sons, and our chocolate lab spent six nights at this property and found it had all the comforts of home (my wife says our next house will have heated floors in the kitchen and bathrooms like this unit has!). The two bedrooms gave us all the space we needed without the need to use the large murphy bed in the living room, which could have slept two more. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities (well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils, as well as basics like spices, aluminum foil, garbage bags, etc.), so that we were only shopping for a few things in addition to our food for the week.
Our timing turned out to be just about perfect, as the cross country trails around Lost Lake and into the village had just opened to other than cross country skiers on April 1st. We and our dog enjoyed several miles of hiking around the lake and into the village. There was still plenty of snow to provide him lots of fun, but the occasional bare spot so that we did not see any cross country skiers the entire week. So, depending on whether you might have an interest in cross country skiing or a beautiful hike around the lake, you would want to time your visit either before or after April 1st.
We did not participate in any downhill skiing/snowboarding, but saw plenty of people doing so, so that is still readily available in April. There was also a cleared path along the golf course for walking to the village for those wanting the exercise but not wanting to tread through the snow.
The Woods is a perfect location with access to all these right outside the door- we plan to be back!

We had a very nice 3 week stay at The Woods. The unit was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The area is quiet and peaceful with trails close by.
Parking is the only problem if you have a guest and need room for an extra car. There is visitor parking but you need an extra pass to keep from being towed. Parking options are expensive and inconvenient in town. In the end we were very lucky to have an owner of another unit loan us one of their guest passes! Very generous!

Incredibly convenient! And that's an understatement . . . we were just steps from the bus stop which whisked us to the base facilities or the main village, only a few steps from the jacuzzi, and parking was just outside the front door.
All the amenities were as advertised and either met or exceeded our expectations. Had a little trouble deciphering the television remote, but with a bit a perseverance we were successful. That may have been the only challenge.
We would definitely return to this condo in the future. Thanks for taking care of us!

We loved everything about this place - it's spacious yet cozy, and you're surrounded by trees! The living room/kitchen area feels larger than how it looks in the pictures. The location couldn't have been better - the free shuttle to the village is right outside your door and it takes minutes to get there. Also across from Lost Lake and fields/trails for walks. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was wood for the fire place (it was a chilly, snowy weekend!).
We would definitely stay here again.

This was the second time our family of 4 staying at The Woods. The owners take great care to add extra touches like toiletries, ample towels and laundry detergent to make it home away from home. It is located in a quiet complex yet close to the village (20 min walk). There is a free bus that runs every 15 mins right out front of the complex. Lost Lake Trail is metres away as well as many biking/hiking trails which we accessed daily.
The condo is clean, beds are comfortable and it is well maintained with a fully equipped kitchen for those who like to cook. I recommend this condo to those who want a quiet location but still want the close proximity of everything Whistler has to offer.

I stayed here with my husband and 4 children. I found the location to be quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was clean and the beds were all very comfortable.
Although it is technically close enough to walk to the village I found that it was too long to walk back in the dark with the kids (the street isn't lit) so we did drive down and park for the day. Upon check in we couldn't find the parking pass. The owner was readily available to answer our questions which I appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend this rental to others.
A few minor improvements would go a long way to help improve the experience. The printed instructions in the suite could be much better - they were missing a lot of information (e.g. check-out instructions, recycling/garbage location, parking details, contact info for concierge etc.).
We had two vehicles, and had a difficult time arranging parking. There is only one parking pass in the suite and the owner's instructions in the email state that "All vehicles must display a valid parking pass when parked at The Woods." The signage in the visitor parking also says "all vehicles must display a parking pass". So, we needed 2 passes, but only had 1. We didn't get towed, but it seems like another pass would help. Some firewood would also have been a nice plus, but wasn't a deal-breaker.
Overall, the suite was roomy, very clean, well-equipped and had good sleeping arrangements for our group, so we did enjoy it!

Lovely 2 bedroom condo in a nice location with a good " vibe" to the development. The only minor problem we had, and it had nothing to do with the owner or the complex, is that the free shuttle to the lifts / village didnt come as per the schedule with a couple of 30 min waits This is most likely due to the extremely busy resort ( Christmas/ New Years). overall would definitely recommend this condo unit, and we will hopefully be able to stay here in the future.
