General Amenities The Hot Tub requires regular maintenance for the enjoyment and health or all guests, therefore access MUST be granted to representatives of Poolside Spa Services for purposes of maintaining the Hot Tub. |
Housekeeping Complimentary before arrival and after departure. For hygiene reasons we no longer offer mid-stay cleaning, however for bookings of 8 or more nights fresh bathroom towels will be delivered half way through your stay, on request. Mistakes occasionally happen! If there has been a housekeeping error and the condo is not ready when you arrive (after 4pm) let us know immediately. If the problem is not resolved by 8pm we will refund you $100 of your first night's accommodation. The condo will be promptly cleaned the next day. |
Garbage Removal Please remove all garbage daily and at the end of your stay. Garbage disposal is located on lobby level, right outside the front entrance |

Ski & Bike Storage Aspens has a ski valet service during the main winter season. When not operating the front desk will provide a key for the equipment storage area. One other side note, though I did not book through the building direct, the building staff there treat you like family and do everything they can to make your stay as nice as possible as well, I am so glad I found this complex a few years ago to stay it. It is my first choice in the area

We enjoyed our 7-day stay at this unit at the Aspens during the 2018 spring break. The property was as described, it was also clean and well organized. Being the first resort on the slope certainly makes walking down to the village quick and easy. That said, a few things can be improved upon, IMHO:
- Coat hooks/racks close to the entrance for hanging jackets, helmets, goggles ...etc. Without them, we had to put everything on the kitchen counter top or on the floor.
- A boot dryer in the room wouldâ??ve been nice. A quick Google search turned out models capable of drying 2 pairs of boots at a time that costs less than $100. Instead, we were instructed to bring ski boots to the far end of the living room and place them on a piece of rug and turn on the dehumidifier, if necessary, and that cools the room unnecessarily.
- A TV in the master bedroom would be a good to have.
A few things about the resort itself, during our stay at the Aspens, one of the 2 elevators was broken 6 out of the 7 days, resulting in long waits going up and down. On the only day it was working, a lady was stuck in the elevator for some 40 mins when it eventually broke again. Also, the outdoor small hot pool was broken for 2 days so the bigger hot pool became crowded at times. I understand the situation was out of the unit owner's control, but maybe the owners can pressure management to better maintain the facility.
Iâ??d recommend Aspens for people who can overlook and/or donâ??t care about the points I made above. *I subtracted a few stars because of the issues we faced.

The apartment is perfect for two guests and with a squeeze could accommodate four. Everything you need is there, a home from home. It is decorated and furnished beautifully and the rainforest shower is a nice touch. When we had questions the owners were incredibly responsive and sorted out any minor issues.
Some comments on Aspens as a whole, ski valet and rental shop fantastic service. Hot tubs and pool very popular and mobbed most nights.
Would recommend to anybody provided that you are happy to walk down the slope to Blackcomb at night. Only 300 metres and no slips for us!

Condo is right on Blackcomb, walk out the back gate and ski down to Wizard to get up mountain. Unit itself is nicely appointed and clean. Lots of pillows to choose from, quiet, hot tubs in good shape.
Pool was closed but will be opening in new year. Underground parking nice but a bit pricey at $17 per day. However it seems secure and its nice to have a place to put the vehicle. Ski valet in courtyard is great for leaving your skis until the next day.
I highly recommend this unit and location! Owner very responsive.

Our second visit, for a reason. We love many things about this unit, the condo (Aspens) and the owners, who are always quick and responsive. The location is great because it "feels" like it is set off, apart from Whistler and feels very private and intimate. But when you walk the trail out the back to the Upper Village, it is only a couple hundred hards from the Upper Village.
The pool was great for the kids (and several hot tubs, three I think). And it isn't crammed in--- the pool feels spacious and roomy, with a large deck.
Anyway, see my other comments from last year. Plan to return, again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this unit!
It was our second time in Whistler, as well as our second time staying at the Aspens, & this unit was just perfect. The Aspens locations is hard to beat - the ski-in/ski-out (along with the mountain-side hot tubs) spoils you, for sure.
We loved the decor - it felt super cozy with the fireplace on in evenings - plus the bed was super comfortable. The updated bathroom with rain shower head was also a huge bonus! The view on the balcony looking overlooking the slopes, mountain and the pool/hot tubs was great for the mornings gearing up to ski & for the evenings relaxing after skiing. The whole unit was just so well-equipped, so updated and so clean.
Owners made sure we had everything we needed for our arrival & we were all set with zero issues. Can't wait to (hopefully) return soon!

My family often takes short trips to Whistler as we don't live far away (Ferndale, near Bellingham) and have happily used Allura for reservations. Frankly, we are usually always pleased with the accommodations we choose. But this one far exceeded our expectations. The Aspens is a beautiful building (goodness, the hallways were beautiful!) and the room was fantastic for us. I would return to this building and this room in a heartbeat.
I don't recall what I pay, but it wasn't much more than a hotel room and this was SO MUCH nicer. I also especially like the location: just a short trail walk to the upper village (it seems and is further if you drive). We plan to return.
One more thing: we left a wall charger behind and after I contacted the owner he went out of his way, with no charge, to mail it back to us in the states.

Great stay at the Aspens! This was our second stay at the Aspens. We were happy with the unit, it was well maintained and clean. The location was quite and only a 12 minute walk to the lower Whistler Village to shops and restaurants. We loved the newly renovated shower!
The Aspens has great hot tubs & pool area! The owners were friendly and quick to respond our emails. We just live in Coquitlam so we will most definitely visit this unit at the Aspens again. Great stay!

Jude and Rich were responsive to answer my inquires prior to making reservations for the condo. They were also responsive and easy to work with to resolve an initial suite access issue.
We enjoyed our time at Aspens 4**. The condo was nicely updated and clean. The location and view from the condo was great. We would definitely consider reserving again at the Aspens 4** for future Whistler trips.
We have stayed at the aspens before, so knew the building and surroundings. The condo itself was very clean and nicely updated. Loved the shower! It was nice to have some spices etc, but we did bring our own as well. Sharper knives other than bread knife would be awesome.
We didnt have any tea towls, so not sure if this was due to the cleaners forgetting to leave some. Also one of the nice white towels on heated towel rack didnt smell clean, it smelt like a wet dog, so not sure on that as a cleaning issue as well. Was a little loud being on the inside with the pool and hot tubs, but overall is a great location and nice condo.
The views would be amazing if you could trim the trees back. We really enjoyed this location and would stay here again and would reccomend others to do as well. Easy check in and check out. The underground parking was nice but expensive as well as they were repainting it down there and parking spots were hard to come by on first level.

I spent 6 days in the condo with 3 of my adult children. We had a great family experience. The ski in and ski out aspect could not be more convenient. We rented some equipment, so the ski shop in the lobby was very convenient too. Loved the ski valet service. The convenience of a short walk to the village was also great. We parked our rented vehicle in the underground parking for $15 a day. Might not be worth renting a car the next time. You can walk to most places you want to get to and there is a bus service to whistler from the airport.
We used the hot tub a couple of times. Was very nice, but crowded at times.
The condo was clean, and nicely decorated. It was more than we could have expected. The appliances had all been recently upgraded. Having wifi was great.
We had absolutely no complaints and had no reason to ever contact the owners. I highly recommend this condo. I will be keeping this address handy for the next time I visit Whistler!

An excellent condo, very well equipped kitchen (even has a spice rack!, sounds trivial but makes cooking so much better). For two of us the condo was a great size with a huge comfy bed. The complex is nice and we found it to be pretty quiet which is a bonus on a ski trip. It really is slope side and the added free ski valet service is great, no carrying them upstairs!
Blackcomb is a quiet area so if you want to be right in the heart of après this is not your area however, if like us you would rather have the luxury of ski in, ski out and then an easy 15 min stroll to whistler Centre and all its bars and restaurants then this makes a great base. There is a grocery store about a 10 min walk away so if you want to eat in that is easy too.
On top of it being a great condo the owner Richard is incredibly nice to deal with, he returned emails very quickly and made the whole booking process and any further questions easy. Definitely recommend.

My Fiance and I spent 5 nights in the condo and had a great experience. The owner's were very easy to communicate with ahead of time and the unit was exactly as described. I have been to Whistler several times and this unit was the best value/money I have found so far. Location is great with the ski-in/out, ski valet and pool/hot tubs.
The apartment was perfect for a couple, but you could fit easily 4 people if you used the pullout couch. Sometimes the 3 minute walk down the ski-hill to the village can be a bit tricky if the snow is slushy, but there is also a bus you can take instead so it isn't much of an issue.
I would certainly recommend this place, and hope to stay here again next time I return to Whistler.

PROS: Owners were always available for questions through email. Great convenient location with ski in-ski out and ski valet service. Rentals available on the first floor. Loved the quiet building with concrete floors. The hot tub was a great feature after a day of skiing. TV and Wi-fi worked great. Oven, stove, microwave worked great. Dinner ware and flat ware were good quality. Counter check in staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was conveniently located underground.
CONS: The sofa bed mattress in the living room is saggy and lumpy. The linens, bed sheets and towels did not smell fresh (like it has been vacant for a while). The lower tray of the dishwasher feels like it is off its wheels (not gliding smoothly). The shower knob cannot be fully lifted so when I used the shower the tap continues to run and the shower does not get the full water diversion. But I'm sure if you contact the owners, they will respond to your enquiries expeditiously.

A lovely place to stay in Whistler, and it was even decorated for the Christmas season. We were able to entertain 5 family guests for dinner, and had lots of roasting dishes and kitchen gadgets and utensils to make the cooking easy to do.
Our poor reading of check-in information led us to arrive too early to check-in so the entry code did not yet work--and my panicked email to the owners resulted in a quick resolution and explanation. We would return if opportunity presents!

Everything was so perfect and made our trip so much easier and more pleasant! It all went smoothly from the start, arrived late the first night but were easily sorted out by reception and into the room in no time. A great location, everything you'd ever need for cooking in the kitchen, plenty of space to keep luggage and having a pool and hot tubs to relax in each day made it so good!
The reception were always friendly and helpful with things and Richard is always easy to get a hold of and quick to respond if anything comes up! All in all it was an incredible trip and we all really enjoyed our stay in the unit and hope to stay again in the future!
We absolutely loved our stay in Rich and Jude's unit at the Aspens! The location is a perfect distance from the main village, making it easy to get to town to get groceries and spend time in town, but far enough out of the way to escape the noise of the village when you need to.
The unit is nice and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking meals a breeze and there was plenty of room to keep our food. It was perfect having the hottubs to relax in after a long day on the mountain and a pool to swim in when it was too hot out!
Rich and Jude were very helpful with any questions we had and setting up payment, and also very quick to respond to emails and send out any important information! All in all it has been a perfect stay and I highly recommend the room!
