Welcome to our Whistler retreat! We have a superb location in the Upper Village on the Blackcomb Benchlands in a townhouse development called Forest Trails, 350 meters from the Wizard Chair at Blackcomb base. Our home is very welcoming and comfortable with all the conveniences of home!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and loved it even more this time round. Two minutes to Blackcomb base, 50 m from bus stop and five minutes to the main village and marketplace. ( and easy staggering distance from RMU - just saying) The unit has everything one could need. It’s warm and comfortable. Plenty of room and well equipped. I could continue, but best to say just book. It will be so worth it.

Another Awesome Stay!!

We had another wonderful stay at this very clean, comfortable and conveniently located home! The booking was easy and the checkin simple.

Upon arrival we discovered the kitchen appliances have all been updated which was a very nice surprise (though the previous appliances have always worked perfectly well). The location of this unit is fantastic because it is in a quiet complex. We can walk to Portobello for a morning coffee/tea within 5 - 6 minutes and can walk to the main village in under 15 minutes. It's close to everything and we love the proximity to all the great trail system off Lost Lake.

The owners are wonderful and always helpful. We will return again and again to this great home!

Great Experience. Great Property.

We had this property recommended to us, and it delivered in spades. The whole booking, paying and then arriving and staying was such an easy experience. It is always great to have the personal touch, and even before we arrived we were feeling good. Everything had been thought through.

On arrival the property was clean and warm. Easy to find with the directions given. On three levels, plenty of space for the four of us, and everything you could need to have a relaxed and easy stay.

Don't be put off by the location - it's quiet, but only two or three minutes walk from the base at Blackcomb, another five to Whistler itself, but also the connector bus at the gate.We found we enjoyed the walk back after going out for dinner. Thanks for a great stay.

Unit perfect for us. Location has good access onto slopes. Roomy setup. Well equipped and stocked. Lorne is top notch for questions and communication, very comfortable to work with and I would have no hesitation to recommend him. Might consider upgrade of second bedroom mattresses according to 20 year old son, 21 year old daughter.

Had an amazing six days

Our family had a fabulous six days at Forest Trails. Communications with Lorne/Dianne were prompt and detailed. The location allowed us to ski to the Wizard Chair once we crossed Spearhead Drive. At the days end, we walked a couple hundred meters along Spearhead Drive to get back. Unloading and loading the vehicle was a breeze as we were able to drive right to the unit.

The unit was cozy, very comfortable, clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. The WiFi was "kid approved" = fast. We were able to stream Netflix without difficulty. There was a washer/dryer available though we didn't find it necessary during our stay. We were conveniently able to store our multiple skis and snowboards in the garage.

The snow was amazing and it was abundantly clear that Whistler/Blackcomb's top ski resort billing was well deserved!

Happy Christmas!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay in Lorne & Dianne's condo at Forest Trails. The 2nd bedroom was a little "cozy" for the 3 young adults, but we were happy to find a more affordable 2 bedroom condo, conveniently located, that accommodated 5 persons without utilizing the living room.

The condo is well-stocked with everything one would need and we had no need to contact the owners or housekeeping. Forest Trails is convenient to Blackcomb and Cross Country Connection as well as the main Village. There's lots to do and everything is walkable or easy to reach via the free shuttle.

We had brought some of our own holiday touches and were excited to discover a little Christmas tree in the living room. Thanks for making it a memorable 1st white Christmas for the 3 California natives in the family!

Very comfortable and convenient

Very comfortable. Free shuttle bus was very convenient for going to village or skiing. We could also ski in and ski out to and from Blackcomb base. We were two seniors and our daughter, husband, a 3 year old and baby and it was a very comfortable stay. I like the idea of the bedrooms being separate from the living area.

We've had yet another wonderful stay. We love this home and it's quiet surroundings. It's well situation close to trails, Lost Lake, both villages, and Upper Village Market which is very well stocked for a tiny store.

This time, we walked to and from all the dinner restaurants at both the Upper Village and Whistler Village. It was wonderful and the distant short enough so that there were no complaints from the kids! Lorne is great host and always helpful.

Great condo

It was a great week with my 3 kids. The condo is perfect, clean, you can feel at home! Really close to the slopes and you can take the free shuttle to the village. The kitchen is full of dishes, (not just 6....) the fireplace is a little difficult to turn on... but that's it... the owner is "on line" for anything that you need... Thanks for everything Lorne. A perfect place for a family holiday The house was clean, cosy, comfortable and very well equipped with plenty of room for the four of us. The fire was lovely on cold evenings while the balcony was a bonus on sunny afternoons. Forest Trails is in a peaceful location but with easy access to ski slopes and village bus shuttle so it was easy to access shops etc even for non skiers. Would highly recommend

Almost ski in / out. (1 block walk to ski in trail) Similar story coming back.

Only thing I'd change is replacing mattresses. They're fine, but near their end of life.

Reasonable Price, Close to Village

Condo is about a 10 minute walk to the Village, 5 minute walk to the Blackcomb lifts with a ski out option. You do have to walk across Spearhead to ski out to the lift, but it saves time opposed to walking. The ski in option is a little more difficult, as you have to ski in from the mountain to Spearhead, unstrap, walk up past the bus stop, then strap in again to ski to the condo complex. Then you have to walk across the complex to the unit. The garage is very small and at the end of the complex, and a bit difficult to get into. Once in the condo, it is very comfortable. Washer/dryer on entry level, kitchen, family room and bathroom on second level, and two bedrooms and a full bath in the hallway on the third level. Keyless entry with code for the door which is very convenient. Large balcony off the family room with gas fireplace. Overall, very good condo for the price.

This was our second time staying in this unit and we continue to appreciate it. The unit is clean and comfortable with everything we need for our family. The air conditioning unit was especially helpful during our visit as the summer sun really heats up the upstairs. This year we had to make a change to our reservation about 8 weeks before arrival. The owners were very responsive and made the change painlessly for us. We will likely come back here for a third time and continue to recommend it to friends and family.

Our only small suggestions would be to add another fan to help keep the upstairs cooler during the hotter weather. Also, we were not able to make Netflix play any title during our stay.

My husband and I, and our two boys stayed here and it was wonderful. The boys were very excited and said it was "legit", which is their current word for "cool". The set up was great and the kitchen had everything we needed for the many meals we stayed in for. It was extra nice that the unit was an end unit as well. The boys were able to play in the snow right outside where I could see them. The two sleds in the garage were a great surprise and definitely used!

The owner was very quick with responses to our reservation. My only suggestion would be to add a pad or mattress topper to the bed in the master-it was a bit springy and firm. Also maybe a few extra bath towels. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

For the price and location this was a good value. The small garage was a perfect fit for keeping a load of bikes safely tucked away at night. Parking a big vehicle was a bit challenging given the right spaces but once done we hardly needed the vehicle for four days. The location is a 10-15 min walk to the main village stroll and easy access to the valley trail system. This was a perfect fit for our family and we plan to return to this unit in future trips to Whistler.

Overall this place is perfect! This is the second year in a row we've stayed here and couldn't have been happier. It's location is ideal, only a 10 min walk to the Blackcomb base or a free bus ride to either Whistler or Blackcomb. The size is great for large groups (we had 8). Plus, there's plenty of parking with a garage and two parking passes.

All of this for a affordable price!! The Anuik's have a great setup for anytime of year!

Perfect Whistler stay

We were in Whistler for the Canadian Orienteering Championships and Forest Trails was perfect for our group: just a short walk from the base of Blackcomb, another short walk from Lost Lake and also an evening event we had at the local Lilloet First Nations cultural centre. All was set for our arrival and we availed ourselves of the handy BBQ and deck on a couple occasions. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking gear and overall our stay was excellent. Only the week was very hot so the two people in the Master Bedroom with a portable a/c unit definitely benefitted from that! Having a great TV in the main living area and in the Master Bedroom was also super, with the wifi connection VG too. Thanks to Lorne and Dianne for this excellent rental experience and rate!
