Welcome to our Whistler retreat! We have a superb location in the Upper Village on the Blackcomb Benchlands in a townhouse development called Forest Trails, 350 meters from the Wizard Chair at Blackcomb base. Our home is very welcoming and comfortable with all the conveniences of home!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and loved it even more this time round. Two minutes to Blackcomb base, 50 m from bus stop and five minutes to the main village and marketplace. ( and easy staggering distance from RMU - just saying) The unit has everything one could need. It’s warm and comfortable. Plenty of room and well equipped. I could continue, but best to say just book. It will be so worth it.

Another Awesome Stay!!

We had another wonderful stay at this very clean, comfortable and conveniently located home! The booking was easy and the checkin simple.

Upon arrival we discovered the kitchen appliances have all been updated which was a very nice surprise (though the previous appliances have always worked perfectly well). The location of this unit is fantastic because it is in a quiet complex. We can walk to Portobello for a morning coffee/tea within 5 - 6 minutes and can walk to the main village in under 15 minutes. It's close to everything and we love the proximity to all the great trail system off Lost Lake.

The owners are wonderful and always helpful. We will return again and again to this great home!

Our home is located in the upper village area on Blackcomb, just 350 meters or aproximately a 5 minute walk to the base of Blackcomb. There is a ski trail that leads to Blackcomb base that starts across the street from our complex and trail access to ski back home from the Wizard chair. Chateau Whistler Golf Course is an approximate 5 minute walk and it's approximately a 10 minute walk to Lost Lake.

Rates are by the night for up to 8 occupants and are posted in Canadian currency. Rates are subject to 5% GST and 11% PST. We accept payments by Visa and Mastercard. If paying by personal cheque, we will accept a cheque in the currency of your choice. We will be in contact with you within 24 hours of receiving your confirmed reservation.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days We accept arrivals on any day of the week.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, unless your reservation can be replaced. We will refund your payment if we can replace your booking; refunds are at the re-booked rate and based on the number of nights re-booked; all cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information 30 days prior to arrival. Later for last minute reservations.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due date will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reseration, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00 PM. Contact us prior to arrival; an early check-in may be possible.
Check-Out Time 10:00 AM. Contact us; a late check-out may be possible.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.

Parking & Ticketing Parking Passes. Guests are responsible for the parking passes during their stay. $150.00 will be charged to the guest if the passes aren't left in the unit when checking out.

Property Damage Contracting guest assumes all financial responsiblity for any damage incurred by guest or friends of guests. By accepting our guest stay contract, you agree to pay us for all damages you incur.

Terms of Eviction 24 hour security company. Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage, disturbing the peace.

Guarantees Policies

My Web Site Guarantee We guarantee that we will honour all rates posted on our web site at the time that your reservation request is submitted. If any amenity changes after you have confirmed your booking with payment, we will notify you in advance and give you an opportunity to cancel with a full refund.
Reservation Guarantee Property Sale/Damage. We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommeded to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation related products.

About Us

Dianne and I have been marketing our property through this website since July 2000 and have owned property in Whistler for over 35 years. We have owned this particular property for 18 years and have seen Whistler grow from a very small ski area to the world class destination resort it is today. We live in Surrey, a suburb approximately 30 minutes east of Vancouver and have the opportunity to use our Whistler home frequently. Along with our son and daughter, we enjoy skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, swimming and hiking.
