All round a terrific accommodation. Very easy access to the village, valley trail and both cycling, water sports and hiking opportunities. We would definitely come back for the skiing opportunities. I try to stay in this unit once per year because of the comfort, quality and location of Andrew and Cynthia's townhouse. The owners attempt to accommodate all reasonable requests , and are well versed in and capable of, dispensing sound advice concerning Whistler's advantages and facilities(re: dining, activities etc.,).
Their townhouse has been updated nicely, and, often offers seasonal special pricing which I love to take advantage of. The townhouse is quite walkable from the village, and yet is far enough away from the sometimes crowded, noisy village, to afford a private cottagey feel.View Full Review

What a great condo, in a nice area. Very quiet, but so close to the village. A nice reason to get up and walk to PureBread for those awesome sour cherry scones (thanks for the recommendation Andrew!). I had to contact Allura about a few questions, and they forwarded my email to Andrew, and both responded very quickly and gave me the info I needed!
The condo was perfect...nice furnishings, and the every bedroom has a bathroom, plus and extra powder room. Andrew, I would State that you have hairdryers in every bathroom....women like to know these things so it is less to pack! I would highly recommend this condo....you cannot beat the location. Lots of hiking everywhere, and wonderful restaurants and things to do!
Thanks for allowing us to stay in your condo. Whistler was absolutely stunning!!View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Amazing place to be when u have a good group going. The view itself from the deck is great to see while using the bbq. All amentities were in great order and described accurately. I was in touch with Andrew Waller(owner) and he was very responsive and there to answer my questions/concerns. All instructions were pretty clear and concise. I would def come back here again. The owners were more than pleasent to deal with, replied to emails very quickly and helpful.
The property itself was as expected. The bedroom lighting was a little dark but not a deal breaker. Lots of room for parking. Everything was very clean, well stocked and the only thing we needed was ice as freezer ice maker didn't seem to work.
For the price, location and building, I'd definitely recommend this property. We wish we had more backyard space to play games etc but definitely not a deal breaker.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Had a wonderful 12 day stay at this property during March 2018. House was beautifully appointed and spotless. Location away from the noise of central Whistler was good for us (though a 5-10 minute walk to the centre; Best to leave your skis/boots in the Village as walk with them quite hard).
The property owner was extremely informative and helpful, and responded to any questions we had immediately and positively. Will definitely stay again at this property when we return to Whistler hopefully in the not too distant future.View Full Review
Perfect, Luxurious Home For Families!
Caroline from Bainbridge Island, United States
Date: Feb-08-2018 for a stay in Jan 2018
Our family gathered at Andrew's home for a long ski weekend in January and we loved our stay!
The house is two levels, and has three full baths, providing enough privacy for all to have their own space while still being together as a family. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooked on the bbq, loved the kitchen and its amenities, gathered around the large dining table, played games in front of the gas fire, and enjoyed talking in front of the gas fireplace while watching the snow fall.
We were pleasantly surprised how quiet the neighborhood was (it was Martin Luther King holiday and Whistler is packed with college students on this weekend.) There was plenty of parking for all of our cars. The home is within easy walking distance (5 minutes) of the Whistler Village.
Truly a perfect family home for a large gathering. We hope to return next year.View Full Review

This is a beautiful and conveniently located home in Whistler, close to the Village. Weâ??ve stayed in the same development before and loved it. The home is clean and nicely decorated, with plenty of sleeping and relaxing space. The extra bathroom helped when we were all getting ready in the morning and when showering after a hot tub! The private hot tub was probably our favorite amenity. There are plenty of dishes although a few extra kitchen supplies (a baking sheet) would be helpful for a long stay.
Overall a lovely home and weâ??d be thrilled to return in the future!View Full Review

This was our second stay. Great location, great amenities, great hosts - I just don't think you can do better. Even during the pricey Christmas season, we came back to this beautiful 3-bdrm townhome. Andrew is the most gracious and accommodating host. We had a minor issue with the hot tub, and a service expert was at the door the next morning. In the end it was operator error, but the feeling of a responsive host that doesn't point fingers is so reassuring. The features that bring us back include, of course, the location, the in-floor heating, spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and generous living & dining area. Hope to be back again soon.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Wonderful vacation rental! Super comfortable beds (including the pull out couch), high end kitchen appliances, sharp knives; all amenities thought of. There were also a few things stocked in the kitchen that were wonderful additions (spices, etc). The back yard private hot tub was wonderful and backed onto a beautiful forested area.
Andrew was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. The price on this particular unit almost felt like a steal! These units are close enough to the village to walk but far enough away that it's very quiet and private. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.View Full Review

This was a perfect base for a few days in the fall. The home is very comfortable and spacious - even for six adults. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hot tub is great to have. We walked back and forth to the village several times. There is bike/walking path that goes all the way to the village.
We would all heartily recommend this condo and we will definitely stay again next time we get to Whistler.View Full Review

The location is so convenient; even though we had a car, we walked everywhere (Whistler Village / Upper Village / Supermarkets). The townhouse was exactly as described and we found it clean and with all every needed amenity. Thank you to whomever left a bit of laundry detergent and coffee...not sure if it was the previous guests or very thoughtful owners. There was just enough of each to see us through our stay. Comfy, Spacious, and Very Central
Paul from Southlake, United States
Date: Feb-22-2016 for a stay in Feb 2016
We spent a week at the Waller house, re-connecting with our University-age son and daughter. We've had generally good experiences with vrbo rentals over the years, summer and winter, including 3 whistler trips in the last 5 years, but this was undoubtedly at the top of the list.
Whistler accommodations are expensive, no surprise, but after lots of searching, I think Montebello, and Andrew's place specifically, is the best value we have found for our family of 5.
The location is a perfect balance of quiet seclusion and proximity to the village, just a short walk to the IGA market and a little further to the lifts. Easy 10-min walk in street shoes, but my daughter can attest that in ski boots, carrying skis, the village lift base is doable, but not for the faint of heart. Stop for the free bus supposedly nearby, but we did not take advantage.
There are still at least 3 lots with free parking, and if you're skiing Blackcomb, lot 6 near the excalibur gondola is a good option. On the Whistler side, lot 5 is a bit far unless the parking shuttle is running (weekends and holidays).
The house is very spacious and in great condition - we found it luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped, and roomy enough for kids to graze even while the cook is working. Dining table has room for 10, if you want to invite friends over. The private hot tub just outside the downstairs bedroom is also in a great condition and was very popular with our group. Beds for 6 adults, with plenty of bathrooms and showers for everyone (heated floors a cozy feature). We had to fend off requests to have friends sleep on the pull-out sofa, but this easily accommodates 2 more, with a half bath just off the living area.
One reviewer noted road noise from Highway 99, but we barely noticed. There's a heavily wooded green belt between the house the road. If you listen, you can hear the occasional truck roll by from the hot tub. But my wife and I are light sleepers, and from the master bedroom, the only thing we heard was snowflakes on the windowsill.
The development has wide, well-groomed streets, with room for two vehicles if you stack one in the private garage and one on the driveway. There's also plenty of guest parking in designated spaces across the street.
We did have one snafu with the washing machine being dead upon our arrival, so that was not ideal. Fortunately, there were enough clean towels and linens to get us through the week. (Speedy appliance service hard to come by during ski season). Thanks Andrew for a great stay. Hopeful there will another Montebello stay in our future.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Booking the house, and communications with Andrew were very easy. The location of the house is perfect, less than a 10 minute walk to the village.
The house is very spacious and in a very good condition. The kitchen is very well equipped, although it took us a while to find where the kettle was hidden! The hot tub is also in a good condition and was great for relaxing in.
There is some road noise from Highway 99 which runs directly behind the house, but you only really hear it from the hot tub or if you have the windows in the master bedroom open.
This is a lovely house on a fairly quiet development, and gives you so much more space than a hotel or condo. We'll have no hesitation in booking again. Thanks Andrew for letting us stay in your home.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

This is a wonderful, spacious and comfortable house on a great street, with fabulous mountain views from the deck - we absolutely loved our stay here and wished we'd been here longer. The house is an easy 10 minute walk into Whistler village (or 2 minute cycle if you hire a bike). Loads of space in the house, with a really well-equipped kitchen and BBQ on the deck.

Had a great week in Whistler over the kids school break. In total there were 8 of us. A little tight because we didn't want to use the fold out couch, but we managed ok. The kitchen is nicely setup with good amenities. Getting to the slopes with little kids (ours are 8 and 5) would have been trickier I think had we not had the ability to drive and/or get dropped off. We did walk back one day from the bus stop and the kids made it, although they weren't thrilled =). If your kids are older it is manageable to walk to the bus and/or shuttle stop.
Internet works great and the DVR was a nice addition to catch some ski racing from Beaver Creek.View Full Review
