We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Northern Lights. Excellent communication from Paul, lots of games for the kids, and a well stocked kitchen. We loved the private hot tub and location right on Whistler Mountain. We will definitely look to stay here again! Thanks Paul!

A Second Lovely Stay

This is the second time we've rented Paul's place for our annual girls' getaway. There are plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms for everyone. The place is well appointed, with thoughtful details considered. Paul is a fast and clear communicator, and very helpful. The location is lovely; quiet and peaceful but easily walkable to the village. We would certainly recommend this villa for future guests.

This is our second time staying at this property and it was fantastic for us again. It's perfect for groups and works well with kids.

The bedrooms are spacious and accommodating, the living room is inviting and great to spend time in, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare and serve meals! The hot tub and BBQ make the patio fun and useful as well. The additional media room is a nice addition and provided one more room of activities for the group.

The owner is very responsive to emails and answers questions almost immediately. The place was very clean and organized when we arrived. Highly recommend anyone to stay here, we would certainly stay here again!

Excellent Ski Housing Rental

Brian from Plano, United States
Date: Apr-18-2017 for a stay in Apr 2017

This is a wonderful place to stay at a tremendous value. The townhome has much more space than one would think based solely on square footage. Paul, the homeowner, communicated with us throughout the process and made everything from entering the unit to using the hot tub easy to follow. Some clothes were left behind in a bedroom closet, but thankfully Paul went out of his way to get them to us in less than two weeks.

I highly recommend this rental to anyone, especially skiers.

beautiful home in perfect location

Claire from ROME, United States
Date: Feb-11-2017 for a stay in Feb 2017

Paul, the home owner, is one of the best I have ever dealt with in a rental experience. Not only was he highly responsive to questions and requests, but he was very easy to communicate with. I found that he was eager to make sure everything was tended to and if something wasn't how we expected it, he was quick to make sure it was taken care of. He was very thorough providing relevant info about Whistler as well as recommendations that were helpful to us prior to our trip to get us prepared.

Paul has one of the best stocked homes that I've ever rented. There was nothing we needed upon arrival. There was an ample supply of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and dish/laundry detergent. The kitchen had every dish, pot, and utensil we needed for our stay. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and there is ample room for 3-4 couples or a large family. We enjoyed lounging in the kitchen and dining area, especially sitting around the fire place. The back porch has a roomy hot tub that our group thoroughly enjoyed. There are heated floors downstairs and a mud room right as you enter the home which was so convenient to dry out our ski clothes and boots for the next day.

The home is situated right off of a green run (there are a few flights of steps so you will get a good warm up of you are skiing out) so you could do without a car if you prefer. We liked the convenience of having one and were down to the village in under 5 minutes. If you are unsure, I would recommend a car because it makes it easier to get to dinners, the grocery store, and shops. Although you can walk to the village for drinks/dinner, I felt it was a little further than I desired after a full day of skiing. Whistler Village is beautiful with plenty of delicious dinner spots. The skiing was great and the snow was perfect.

I'm not sure if I enjoyed dealing with Paul the most or staying in his beautiful home! Our first experience in Whistler was a memorable one and I hope to stay in this home again when we return. I recommend this home and location without reservation!! You won't be disappointed.

The cabin was great as it easily accommodated 10 ladies. We loved that the living and sleeping spaces were separate, except for those sleeping in the den. Home away from home

Maureen from Campbell River, Canada
Date: Sep-29-2016 for a stay in Sep 2016

This condo was fantastic! It was a quick walk to the village, the kitchen was more than well stocked, and there was plenty of room. We had 10 women staying for the weekend and there were enough beds for all of us! The hot tub was a treat after a chilly day. The 3 bathrooms made getting ready quick. The only complaint I heard was the beds had liners on them that were noisy and a bit uncomfortable during the night.

I would definitely recommend staying here. It was a great price and we all enjoyed the comforts of home. It's not usual a kitchen is as well stocked with condiments, etc, as this one was. It was greatly appreciated and made staying home to enjoy a meal so easy.

Thank you for the lovely stay, great communication, and the late check out. We hope to see you again soon!

Outstanding all around - you won't be disappointed with your stay here. If you're heading to the bars for a drink after skiing just keep in mind it's an uphill walk back to the condo and quite difficult while in ski boots and carrying equipment... Love our vacation rental. The house was clean, comfortable, well stocked and full of amenities. We were relaxing at home right away after a full day of skiing. Sonos system was awesome. Everything works without issue. Enjoyed the hot tub particularly looking out into the trees with snow falling, so relaxing.

BBQ grill was clean and functional. We had great dinner at the house. The boot/gloves drier and closet with heater made all our ski gear nice and dry to put on the next day.

The house is right at the steps for the ski in and out. You do have to climb 2 flights of stairs then hike few more minutes before getting to the lower olympic run to ski down to the village, it is very doable. Skiing back is no problem, all down hill.

Owner/manager Paul was great with his correspondence. Very responsive to any question. Overall a great stay and surely will rent again in the future.

Incredible Value, Perfect Getaway

Cait from Seattle, United States
Date: Jan-21-2016 for a stay in Jan 2016

I am a repeat guest because Paul's home is by far the best value, most convenient, clean, equipped and memorable place you will find in the Whistler village surrounding area. This relaxing town home is located just behind the Westin - complete with hot tub, fireplace and ski-in option. We had a group of 10 which worked out nicely with the sleeping arrangements and felt like there was also plenty of space between the downstairs area (bedrooms) and the upstairs (kitchen/living/dining/den).

It was fun having Bluetooth speakers to play music while we cooked meals and ate around the large dining table. Then after a long, amazing day on the slopes, we felt right at home as we retreated to our rental. The shampoos, conditioners and other toiletries make you feel as though you are at a hotel. We also got great use out of the drying room for our gear and even the boot and glove drying rack!

These little touches make all the difference and allow for us to continue having a comfortable and pampered vacation. Thank you so much Paul for all of your great communication and allowing us to have a late evening checkout on the last day. We will be back!! :)

We had a wonderful stay at this condo over Christmas. Paul, the owner, was outstanding. Very responsive and willing to assist in every way. He organised a 10ft live Christmas tree (with decorations) to be set up in the living room. The kitchen is extremely well set up with all equipment needed to cook large meals.

Going skiing was easy once you find the correct turn off from the slopes. We had an issue with the heating however Paul provided extra heaters and did all he could to fix the problem. Highly recommend staying here.

It truly is a beautiful as it looks with every amenity you could wish for! A very short walk to the village. We did take a cab home a few times because we were tired at the end of a long evening and the cab was always less than $10. Hopes this helps anyone in their decision making.

We spent 5 nights here in March 2015. You can tell that the owners are using it for themselves. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and functional meaning everything works including internet, hot tub, Webber grill, crock pot in kitchen, water stays hot after 9 people take shower after day of skiing, glove/boot drier in a garage is a great perk. And Paul answers any question at any time.

Thank you Paul for making our family-and-friends reunion wonderful! The walk to the Village stores and restaurants is short and very pleasant. You can also walk to the lifts. We drove to the Creekside and parked in the free underground parking to meet with our friends and for après ski in Dusty’s. Over all it was very comfortable to stay here and I can highly recommend it.

The bedrooms are all located on the lower level (entry level) allowing for early to bed for my grandson while the adults stayed up. Unfortunately we had more rain than snow but the condo was extremely comfortable with room for all in the great room. The upstairs den with TV and games was an added bonus. Such an amazing place for a getaway in Whistler! The condo was very easy to find and situated in a great location, close to the village. The unit itself is quiet and rather private. The place was pretty much exactly as the pictures were shown. It was extremely clean/neat and organized. Kitchen was very well stocked with the basics. It was very easy to find everything (all the lights/switches are labelled, hot tub manual was posted) and the owner was very easy to contact for help (usually responded within 5 mins of an email). The place was super cozy and everyone slept very comfortably, sufficient bedding/linens/towels were provided as well. Soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers were a nice touch and great for those who forgot stuff. The rooms were on the lower level which made the rooms cooler and more comfortable in the summer heat. Definitely a place that I will consider staying again.
