About Listing

Our Whistler Northern Lights #19 condominium will guarantee you a memorable vacation. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all under the same cathedral ceiling which creates the perfect social atmosphere for great conversation, musical entertainment (now with Sonos)  and cooking fantastic meals. 3 of the bedrooms are on the lower floor which makes them quieter when entertaining is occurring upstairs and cooler in the summer. The flexible sleeping arrangement for 10 can work for families and 3 couples with friends. A separate media room offers another area for TV, Netflix, Playstation and games.  The luxurious new hot tub is extremely private.  The ski runs are ski in and only a short 5 minute walk up to ski out. There is parking for 2 vehicles in the garage and 2 on the driveway and as the village is also only a 10 minute walk away, the cars can stay parked.

We have set our condominium up to be as enjoyable as possible. The living room has a 50 inch HD TV with Apple TV, Netflix. The 4th bedroom has a Sony Play Station with 32 inch HD TV.  The media room has a 55 inch HD TV with Netflix, Apple TV and a playstaion.  The built in sound system uses Sonos to provide great music.  Recent upgrades include 2 new reclining leather chairs and a  leather chair and ottoman combination for relaxing.

The hot tub is totally private

Location

Our condominium is a short 10 minute walk from the village and a taxi ride to the village center is less than $10. The walk up to the ski out to the runs takes 5 minutes and you can ski in back down.  Check out the reviews for previous guest comments on the condo location.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price and are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by the due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. Reservation Changes Please contact us if you need to lengthen or shorten your reservation, and we will do what we can to accommodate. Changes are not guaranteed, and refunds may be treated in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Guest Stay Policies

Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage and recycling to the disposal area at the top end of Tantalus Drive. We also request that the fridge be cleaned out and that the dishwasher be turned on at the end of the stay.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs. Guests are expected to take garbage and recycling to the sheds. Pots and Pans should be washed and dishwasher loaded and turned on. If guests cause the hot tub water to be drained and replaced due to un-clean use, the cleaning costs will be charged back to the guest.
Bike Storage We have provided stands for 4 bikes in the garage. Bikes cannot be stored inside the condominium itself.
Check-In Time 4 pm. Early check in may be available so contact us prior to arrival.
Check-Out Time 11 am. Late check out may be available so contact us prior to arrival and check out.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise You may be evicted due to excessive noise that disturbs other guests. No refunds will be provided.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Liability The Guests, or the guests and/or other invitees or trespasser(s) of the Guests, shall, at all times, hold the Owners of #19 4150 Tantalus Drive safe and harmless from and indemnify them, on a solicitor and his own client basis, against any and all actions, matters of actions, causes of action, liabilities, claims, demands, suites, damages, losses, injuries, loss of life, consequential or other indirect damages including pure economic loss, suffered by any person, organization or corporation, arising or in any way connected with the rental of #19 4150 Tantalus Drive by the Guests from the Owners of #19 4150 Tantalus Drive.

Property Damage Guests assume all responsibility for property damage incurred by them themselves and their guests. Damages include excessive cleaning, repair costs, replacement costs, call out charge costs and fines with respect to the condominium and the Northern Lights Property.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Guests will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!
Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.
Noise Restrictions No excessive noise after 10pm. You will be evicted if complaints occur from other tenants.
Parking & Ticketing Parking information will be provided in your check-in and arrival instructions email. We are not liable for any parking tickets or towing fees you may incur.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage There is ski storage for 15 pairs of skis in the garage. Skis cannot be stored inside the condominium itself.

Property Details

The condominium has been set up for convenience. Enter through the garage door with your skis; hang your skis up on the wall storage rack; change into your shoes and put your gloves and boots on the boot and glove dryer. Enter a secure door into the main entry way. A large walk in closet has 20 hooks for all of your jackets and backpacks.

3 bedrooms are downstairs and the living room, 4th bedroom, media room, living room and kitchen are upstairs. This is perfect for putting the children to bed while the adults are entertaining upstairs.  

We are serious skiers and so the ski tuning bench is a must. Save some money and do your own waxing with our wax, ski tools and waxing iron.

Our place is set up for flexible sleeping arrangments. The 3rd bedroom can be used for a couple or 3 to 4 children. The den has a high quality queen pull out couch. The den provides additional space for games and TV watching.

Lofted/Cathedral Ceilings A special feature of our condominium is the 20 foot cathedral ceiling that connects the living room, dining area and the kitchen into one area and creates the perfect atmosphere for entertaining and group cooking.

Welcome to our condominium rental page. We have focused on making our guest's stays enjoyable by focusing on the amenities that we value ourselves like the ski storage, the boot dryer, the ski work bench in the garage and making sure the kitchen is well equiped.  We hope you enjoy your stay.

We are both civil engineers and have 2 children. One is at university and the other is ski racing at a high level.
