The Edge is luxury redefined. This "Great Room" has an open concept design with plenty of seating for your group. The gourmet kitchen opens into the living and dining areas with kitchen bar seating to keep the Chef in your group company. Many distinctive amenities and special features in our home that are not commonly found including a private elevator, eco friendly fireplace in the master King Room.  A theatre style media room with 65” 4K UHD TV and 7.1 home theatre system, 4K Upscaling DVD, many DVD titles, PlayStation Game console comfortable seating with 6 large leather reclining chairs. The games room features a pool table, arcade video game with 60 titles, 55" 4K TV to watch the game and a Sonos Bluetooth sound system to play your favorite tunes on.

Our Hot Tub is located on the back side of the Chalet with views over the ski run. Keep an eye on the snowfall and chat about the days skiing and boarding.

Great location for ski in from the village center or ski out to the Happy Valley gondola. Little harder for older adults to walk to and from the Edge unit as it is located on a pretty steep hill.

Kitchen is well stocked, living areas had more than enough space for our group of 13. Extra fridge in the 2nd floor wine room was great for overflow groceries that didnâ??t fit in the kitchen fridge. Elevator was a huge convenience when lugging all the bags and groceries up, as well as taking the garbage and recycling down to the garage.

Front bedrooms on 2nd floor over the garage get pretty cold, but portable heaters were provided. Would have been nice to have a light on the back porch when grilling or to leave on when we return at night. We had to use a flashlight to grill.

Overall best Edge unit we have stayed in (stayed in a smaller unit before). We also had the perfect view of the Happy Valley New Yearâ??s Eve fireworks straight out the front living room picture windows!

Property was excellent for our large group (5 families - 8 adults and 4 kids). The elevator was perfect for hauling up all of the supplies. Ski-in Ski-out access was great.

Contemporary furniture was more decorative than comfy but that is the design of the house. Kitchen had plenty of supplies. Pool table area was a bit disappointing with the lack of lighting and functional pool ques.

Overall I would recommended if you are looking for contemporary accommodations.

We loved staying at the Edge - modern property, with great communal area to entertain. Well stocked kitchen, roomy bedrooms and a media room that the kids loved to hang out in. Great proximity to gondola and village and ski in/ ski out. I would have rated this property as 5 stars if it hadn't been for 2 issues:

1. fuse blew continuously on lower floor which meant the bedroom and one of the bunk rooms was super cold over night. I think this was mentioned by an earlier guest so was surprised the problem had not been solved by our stay

2. TV in media room - this worked well for 3 days until we were unable to get a signal - so no media room TV for the remaining trip. We called to get someone out to fix but they did not arrive.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days There are currently no restrictions regarding the day of guest arrival.
Cancellations Made by Guests We wish to ensure our guests feel confident that they can book with peace of mind knowing we are making efforts to be as flexible as possible in these uncertain times. Updated Cancelation Policy Covid 19 If your country or airline has an official no travel restriction in place for the dates of your travel a refund less a 5% processing fee is offered. This policy applies up to 90 days before the booked arrival date. Between 90 days and 45 days, before the balance payment is due and paid, guests will receive a 100% booking credit for the deposit amount toward a booking for the same property for future travel up to 12/18 months from the cancelation date. If your booking is canceled within 45 days prior to the booked arrival date, a partial/pro-rated refund will be offered if we can replace your canceled dates or a portion of your canceled dates by another booking. Refunds processed within 45 days will be subject to a $50 administration fee as well as a 5% credit card processing fee which will be deducted from the balance repaid. This does not include any fees that may be charged by AlluraDirect. If there are sudden changes to travel due to Covid-19 which prohibits travel, we will refund you 95% of your monies paid. Certain conditions apply. For example, if travel is restricted due to Covid-19 by governments and or health authorities - Government Advisories prohibiting nonessential travel - Government travel bans, border closures by Canada or your home country - Extensive minimum quarantine periods on either end of travel required to travel - Airline schedule changes which will not enable you to arrive and depart on your planned dates We wish to ensure our guests feel confident that they can book with peace of mind knowing we are making efforts to be as flexible as possible in these uncertain times. If in the unlikely event the resort is shut down by Big White LMVR will refund affected guests 95% of monies paid to LMVR for any bookings with an arrival date after the date of the closure. Alternatively, LMVR will offer affected guests 100% of the booking value with a 10% discount on the accommodation subtotal to transfer affected booking to the following season. If guests are here at the resort at the time of closure a pro-rated credit for the days after the closure date to the departure date toward a booking in the following season for the same unit. Reservation Changes Your reservation can be changed if it is in compliance with our cancellation policy. Please note that your deposit for your revised reservation is calculated on your original reservation amount.
Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Guest Stay Policies

We aim to reduce waste and our environmental impact by providing large containers of soap, shampoo, body wash, hand lotion and household cleaning products vs. one use disposable items. As such, the consumables mentioned here are used by multiple guests ( before and after each guest stay) . Luxury mountain Vacation Rentals and its subcontract employees will not be held liable or responsible for any quality, tampering, injury to guests or occupants of the rental unit if the occupants use any provided products. Guests use these products at their own risk. We try to ensure a clean and safe product for our guest use. If you are uncomfortable using any of these products, we recommend you bring your own supplies with you for your stay with us.

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbors
Housekeeping For the duration of the 2021/2022 season we will not be providing any additional housekeeping services to guests during their stay in the unit. Special requests for additional supplies will be considered on a case by case basis to ensure safety protocols can be observed for both guests and our staff. If you have specific questions or requests, please contact us.
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless internet access is provided by a third party. We cannot be held responsible if there is a lack of or quality of service at any time.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 17 people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighboring guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice, however guests will be notified via e-mail of changes prior to their arrival.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $2,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

Property Details

 The main entrance is on the ground floor with elevator access within unit.


The entry level has attached vehicle garage with parking for two vehicles, guest bathroom with washer/dryer, media room with 65" 4K UHD TV, 6 large reclining leather chairs, Queen murphy bed and many entertainment extras. Also, you own private elevator access to the second and third levels.

Taking the stairs or the elevator, the Second level has 3 spacious separate sleeping areas, the games room with pool table. Arcade gaming system, 55' 4K TV and a Sonos sound system. There is a deck off the 2 front bedrooms one is the bunk room with 4 single bunks and the other is the one of the three King Rooms with a 55" 4K TV. On the opposite side of the games room is another bunk room with two single over double bunks, 55" 4K TV and a futon couch. 

 The third level is the main living area. Boasting 25-foot vaulted ceilings, massive windows and contemporary décor. The central gourmet kitchen with modern European appliances and plenty of equipment for the Chef in your group. The kitchen opens onto the dining and living room with a 65" 4K UHDTV & Sonos sound system for your entertainment needs. There is also a powder room is located beside the elevator adjacent to the kitchen. Access to side deck and step directly onto the ski run is just off the kitchen and also the deck where the BBQ is located. Living Area

There are two spacious living/entertainment areas (2nd level and 3rd level). The 2nd level games room has a pool table. The climate controlled wine room is located off this area. The main living area - Great Room - is on the third level. The third level has an open plan for the living, dining and kitchen area. Amazing floor to ceiling windows brings in extensive amounts of light into our main living area. Be mesmerized by the fantastic views of the mountains or just listen to the soothing waterfall wall feature. A warm fireplace will complete your luxurious vacation experience in our home.

Dining Area

The dining room area with fireplace is located in between the kitchen and living room. Our dining table seats 10 people comfortably. An new 4K UHD TV added to entertain all of your guests.
