Our favourite ski rental home weve ever stayed in! It is set up for families with 3 master suites and numerous bunk rooms. Plenty of high end kitchen supplies, fantastic entertainment for kids (arcades, pool table and PlayStation), perfect location and in great condition. We cannot wait to go back!

Fabulous property on the hill, our favourite spot we’ve stayed at in Big White Resorts! Spacious for our 3 families, very clean, beautiful views, lots of fun games and activities for kids (arcades, ping pong table, pool table), perfect for ski in/out, kitchen was well stocked with quality cooking utensils and other items. A wonderful spot for a large family gathering

For a large group of 4 families, this location was ideal. It has the best ski-in ski-out of all the Edge units. The condo is exactly as it appears in pictures. There are some wonderful touches in terms of finishing and artwork. The bunk room was ideal for kids! The large common area was perfect for meals and relaxing after a day on the slopes. It is an easy walk to Happy Valley for skating and tubing in the evenings.

We would definitely book again for a large group.

Another wonderful stay at the Edge - see my review from last year! This is a highly spec'd, beautiful and well maintained house with plenty of space and flexible bedding configuration for two or three families. It is a fabulous location with excellent ski-in ski-out access off the Happy Valley Access trail (the back door is at trail level, no hiking up the hill in the morning) and beautiful sunset views from the open plan living area.

Definitely our first choice of accommodation when traveling to Big White where 4 bedrooms are required! We look forward to returning again very soon!

A perfect Christmas Ski Holiday!

The Edge was the perfect house for our recent 10 night ski holiday at Big White (our 3rd season in Big White and 9th season in BC Canada). There was plenty of room for our party of 10 (consisted of two families including one set of grandparents) with a functional layout which has proved to be the best of the various condos we have tried in several ski resorts over the years. We are frequent travelers and used to staying in 5-star accommodation across the globe, and The Edge did not disappoint!

The location was perfect - ski in/out along the Happy Valley Way access trail from the village to Happy Valley, and a short 3 min walk to the Lara Gondola Base for direct access into the village (and then a pleasant 10 min walk downhill along Happy Valley Way if you don't fancy the 3 min walk uphill from the Gondola base to return home).

The house is beautifully furnished with the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms very well equipped. Management was very quick to respond & assist when we had minor issues with the heating and rubbish collection during our stay, both of which were quickly sorted. We loved our stay here so much that we have already rebooked to return next season! Thank you again for a great holiday!

WONDERFUL MULTI-FAMILY SKI VACATION

We had a fabulous multi-family ski vacation at the Edge 5! We were 16 in total (8 adults and 8 kids) and the house worked out quite well. One of the couples was a late addition to our party so they had to sleep in the "theatre room" on a pull out sofa but it worked out fine :). The snow conditions were PERFECT for the last couple weeks of the season. SO much snow - awesome!!! The location was absolutely IDEAL!! We are accustomed to ski in/ski out on our ski vacations and this house was truly that - totally ski-in / ski-out! Ski out to Lara's Gondola and ski home directly from the village - perfection! The ski in/ski out trail is shared as a "walking" path so it lit up at night - our kids had the best time sledding down the hill on crazy carpets after a long day of skiing after dinner and long into the evening. Getting to the village for groceries, drinks, dinner, entertainment, etc. was such easy access via the gondola. There were a few housekeeping issues throughout the week...the unit was not fully cleaned upon our arrival. Lots of dust and the floors were not vacuumed...somewhat disappointing. The fireplace in the main living area (3rd floor) worked sporadically. The waterfall feature does not work at all. The house is actually pretty banged up for only being in its second season of rentals but I guess that can be expected when you have so many people coming and going. Wendy was very quick to address any housekeeping issues we had as best she could. For example, the bbq tanks were not filled upon our arrival and we ran out right in the middle of preparing our steak dinner one evening - not cool! We tried to borrow from the neighbours but theirs was empty as well...Hmm...regardless, we made it work but that was an oversight that was somewhat disappointing. Overall, it was a fabulous vacation and the property was great!! Was great value in our opinion. Would certainly recommend it to others.

We loved ours stay and have already tried to book for next year. Big White is an amazing family resort and the location of this chalet on the hill for families with kids is literally the best!! We had kids ranging in age from 4-10 and they had an absolute blast. While the location is amazing, the chalet itself is even better. Even better in person. We were left wanting for nothing and any questions we had were meet with almost immediate responses.

First class all the way! We were on a group family trip and really enjoyed the home space to roam. The kids loved the theatre room and the parents loved that the kids loved the theatre room:) The living space was gorgeous and kitchen stocked with all appliances and tools needed to cook great feasts. The locations was perfect, right on a ski slope. Great access to the gondola. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the edge was for 9 nights and sharing with 3 families. We found the property to be of high quality and a pleasure to stay. On arrival the house was very clean and in very good condition. We only rang the manager once and was very responsive and obliging. The hot tub was very useful - however accommodating large numbers, it would of been nice if it was little larger. The kitchen was beautiful to work with - a few more condiments at the house would of been nice as we cooked a lot at the house. The laundry machines work great. Cinema room was also a nice treat with any movie you desire. As far as the location of the house you couldn't ask for any better - perfect. Great ski- in ski- out even for beginners. [We had great snow at this time also] The only problems we encountered were with the air-conditioning and coffee machine. We could not satisfy each room to the correct temperature. Some rooms being cold throughout the night and others too hot. [Running the cycle on the 3rd floor on the cool setting seems to help the hot rooms.] Could not get the coffee machine to consistently work. Overall - this was an amazing holiday at a fantastic resort in very high quality accommodation. I would highly recommend this property for families and friends. Thank you so much!

This is our second time staying at the Edge. My wife has mobility issues and the elevator is a real blessing as well as making all our belongings and food into the unit. The fact that it is easy to ski in and out is great with small kids. Hope to stay here again next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, 6 nights for spring break (from Hawaii). Wendy was just a phone call away and always very responsive. Ski in/out was top of the line......hot tub was enjoyed daily......kids enjoyed the den and game room.......top notch home, understandably for the price. 4 families = 8 adults and 8 kids had plenty of room. Another full bath/shower is needed with a larger hot water tank.

Lovely place. Spacious. Good location. Luxurious. It was a disappointment to discover that that the agents knew the lift was not working and left no notice in that regard to us. (A different company left me very unhappy because they charged me for repairs that have started before my arrival - so I am sensitive to such issues.) The lift was only fixed on the last day of our stay.

It would be nice to have a TV screen where we can connect a computer to enjoy the day's ski videos and photos. (There are many TVs but none allows you to connect a PC) There is not enough space to store 16 pairs of wet ski boots to dry out. The geothermal heating works well but on floor 2 the den was too hot and the bedrooms too cold - couldn't fix that. Some people in the upper bedrooms had to sleep with outside doors open due to the surplus heat. On the main floor 3 a bed lamp has no globe. We couldn't find the lockup facility for ski equipment. The layout of the hot tub entrance via a bedroom is a bit unpractical.

We did have a wonderful time there - thanks a lot for all the effort you did put into Serenity.

Perfect location

Stayed at Big White for an annual ski trip with a group of friends. Location is perfect as you can ski right out the back door and stop in for a quick bite and a beer during the day. We didn't have any major issues during our stay and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. The only issues (if you could call them that) were it was very tricky trying to find the temperature "sweet spot" of the lower level shower. Bring ice for beverages etc if needed as the fridge ice machine is not very efficient. Also, if you are cooking...ensure you bring spices, condiments, or anything else you may need as there isn't anything in the house. Again not a big deal as we brought everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and also stay here again.
