Settle into luxury in one of the Best Ski In / Ski Out locations in Whistler.  Located in the Upper village next to the Chateau Whistler.  The only thing that could make your vacation better is a private concierge service, and we provide that too.

  • This unit sleeps 6 adults maximum, or you may have 4 adults plus 4 children
  • This renovated, two bedroom unit features cathedral ceilings, a large master bedroom, and an enclosed loft that provides complete privacy.  Both bedrooms have King beds that can be split into 2 double beds on request.
  • After your day's adventure, enjoy the view from our private deck  or cozy up by the gas fire place.
  • We have one full bathroom and a half bathroom attachled to the master bedroom.
  • The interior court yard has an outdoor pool and two hot tubs, heated year round for your enjoyment.   Drop by the free fitness room before relaxing in the pool.
  •  We provide free wireless internet.
  • Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and DVD player. The living room has a 70" TV, DVD, and stereo with blue tooth. 
  • The kitchen and bathrooms are tastefully renovated with granite counters, all new stainless steel appliances, quiet dishwasher and large fridge.   The kitchen is stocked with 12 sets of dishes, blender, coffee grinder and all the appliances you would expect in a luxury condo.  Hair dryer, iron, and ironing board are supplied.  
  • Highchair and playpen are available on request at no cost.  The master bedroom has an extra fold out single bed if you you need it. 
  • This fantastic location gives you instant access to the ski lifts, lessons, restaurants, shops etc. We have secure, indoor bike storage in the summer. The Laundry is directly across the hall.  Golfing is a stone's throw away.
  • We hire a private Concierge service, at no cost to you. Imagine arriving with, lift tickets on the table, babysitter and dinner reservations arranged.  If you are flying in, we can assist with your local transportation.  Our Concierge will contact you when you book to see how she can assist you.    
  • This is a non-smoking condo.
  • If you arrive within 48 hours of when you book please verify booking with owner.

COVID 19 updates:

  • We have elderly family so we appreciate the concerns and the need to reduce risks. We are taking additional measures to ensure the best possible environment.
  • Refund policy for COVID related cancellations is changed; with 7 or more day's notice, only the costs we can't recover will be charged (4% credit card processing fee).  Our website has been refunding most booking fees as well, if there are government imposed travel restrictions preventing you from coming.
  • We are ensuring 30 hours between booking for complete cleaning and air circulation.
  • Hand sanitizer in the unit for when you enter and leave.
  • Pool towels will now come from our unit, not the front desk.
  • Check in / out process meets social distancing measures.
  • We have added 40% more cleaning time for our staff where they will ensure; cleaners will wear masks and gloves, use EPA registered disinfectants and clean all switches, handles, door knobs, remotes, etc.).  Linens professionally cleaned at highest heat recommended by manufacturer.  Clean sofa and chairs using disinfectant spray or wash.
  • The pool and hot tub has been re-opened.  Guests have to book times so that maximum capacity and social distancing can be maintained.

Perfect Location at Blackcomb Base

We have just returned from our second stay at Gord's apartment in Glacier Lodge at the base of Blackcomb, Whistler. We love it here for our winter skiing holidays. It's our 3rd year skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb and find the Blackcomb area perfect for us with kids as it's a lot quieter than over at the Whistler side which is still only a 10 minute walk if you need more restaurants, a pharmacy or larger supermarkets.

Gord's apartment is stocked with everything you could need and is super clean and cosy with a lovely gas fireplace to relax in front of in the evenings. We will definitely be back again.

The condo was in excellent shape and exactly as the pictures show. The owners were very prompt with their replies and responsive to my questions. The only thing I would suggest is to have the cleaning staff air out the top bedroom between stays as it gets very hot and stuffy up there. The location is fantastic and close to everything that we needed. We will definitely return. Thanks Gord and family.

The newly renovated Glacier Lodge features an Outdoor pool, two Hot Tubs and a fitness room.  There is a restaurant, spa, pub as well as  a beer and wine store on the main floor (We are on the opposite side of the building so there is no noise from it).   Secure underground parking, as well as secure storage for bikes and skies.  Elevator from the underground parking to the suite.

There are 10 great Blackcomb restaurants within a 3 minute walk.

Location

Glacier Lodge is at the base of Whistler's Mountains in the Upper Village, right next to the Wizard High Speed Chair lift.  There is lift access to both Whistler and Blackcomb.   The ski school, restaurants, ski shops and many activities are right outside your door.  

Our building has a spa, restaurant, liquor store and shops.

Next door is the Chateau Whistler resort Hotel and Spa, with great restaurants, art gallery and apre ski bar.  Across the street at Club Intrawest, there is a boutique convenience store with basic food and convenience needs as well as DVD rentals.

You can park your car when you arrive and walk to where you want to be.

At check-in there will be a pre-approved damage deposit in the amount of $1000 made to your card.  This is a PRE APPROVAL ONLY, not a charge.  Should there be damage to the property of it's contents, a damage charge will be made.  

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Booking fees are not refundable. Cancellations made 60 days prior to arrival are refundable less booking fees and a $150 transaction fee. Cancelations made less than 60 days in advance of arrival will be refunded only if the booking can be resold. There will be a $150 fee plus any difference in the rate to rebook.

Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact info@alluradirect.com between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Noise complaints may result in eviction by security personnel or local police. No refunds are given for remaining nights.
Garbage Removal Please remove garbage and recycling before leaving. Garbage facilities are located on P1 at the front of the parking garage near the entrance gate.
Housekeeping Clean after departure is included. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
