Amazing place! Very relaxing. Comfortable and clean. Cozy yet stylish. My only complaint was that the stove top was very sensitive. Cook on medium to low heat only! We set off the smoke detector with our morning bacon and eggs. But that was kinda funny.

A wonderfully appointed condo! Great ski Concierge, and close walk to lifts makes this unit super easy and stress free. Quiet and very elegantly decorated, not your typical ski lodging. Great use of space with comfortable and tasteful furniture. Excellent quality of sheets and towels, even better than the Fairmont and Four Seasons. Even the flatware and quality wine glasses made this vacation first class! Pool and Hot tub area, clean and quiet. I was very very impressed. I highly recommend.

Perfect Location at Blackcomb Base

We have just returned from our second stay at Gord's apartment in Glacier Lodge at the base of Blackcomb, Whistler. We love it here for our winter skiing holidays. It's our 3rd year skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb and find the Blackcomb area perfect for us with kids as it's a lot quieter than over at the Whistler side which is still only a 10 minute walk if you need more restaurants, a pharmacy or larger supermarkets.

Gord's apartment is stocked with everything you could need and is super clean and cosy with a lovely gas fireplace to relax in front of in the evenings. We will definitely be back again.

Excellent stay

The condo was in excellent shape and exactly as the pictures show. The owners were very prompt with their replies and responsive to my questions. The only thing I would suggest is to have the cleaning staff air out the top bedroom between stays as it gets very hot and stuffy up there. The location is fantastic and close to everything that we needed. We will definitely return. Thanks Gord and family.

Stayed at this well appointed 1bedroom and loft at Glacier Lodge. It’s an amazing location at the base of Blackcomb Gondola. Directly across from the majestic Chatuea Whistler and it’s fabulous restaurants and lounges. The Mallard Lounge has live entertainment every night. A great place to wind down in front of the fireplace after a great day of skiing. The value at Glacier Lodge is second to none.

Blackcomb/Whistler family vacation 2018

For a family of 4 this was a great layout! The enclosed loft was a nice bonus for our children but all of the sheets & blankets smelled dirty & musty.

The floor fans in the bedrooms were a wonderful touch and it helped to quiet the noise from the road during the night and early morning. The kitchen had pretty much everything one would need; however, several plates had crumbs stuck to them and the coffee maker was dirty inside the reservoir (even after several attempts to clean it). That was a bit frustrating (since we purchased coffee from the store so we could enjoy it in our room before skiing) but the walk over to Portobello for coffee and breakfast was easy and quite delicious.

The location of this unit to the washer and dryer was super convenient (only one of the two washing machines worked) but be prepared because it's $2per wash & $2per dry.

We didn't let the few negatives out-weigh our positive experience visiting Blackcomb/Whistler and we are planning to return next year.

What a lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Everything you need is provided, from a fully stocked kitchen to a TV in every room. The beds were large and comfortable with quality furniture and pleasant artwork throughout.

The fantastic Portobello market/bakery/cafe/restaurant across the road was wonderful. Ski storage on the ground floor was handy and a short hop (80 Meters) to the Wizard express.

Check in / check out was simple with underground parking ( $15 cad per day) and the 2 lifts to help with luggage etc.

The Glacier Lodge is just a few minutesâ?? walk to the Wizard Express Chair. The Blackcomb base is quieter; however, you may hear some of the machines cleaning the roads early in the morning. The building has underground car par (additional fee) and usually there are enough lots available. The Whistler Village is 8-10 minutesâ?? walk, but the Blackcomb base has a few restaurants, a mini supermarket and the bottle shop is in the Lodge.

The unit is spacious, has modern well-equipped kitchen and great view to the snow-covered pine threes. 3** is good size; the main bedroom for was for us and our two kids were sleeping upstairs in the loft. Your skies/snowboards will be stored in the rental shop downstairs; thatâ??s convenient and it worked well for us.

Fantastic apartment for 4 people. Well stocked kitchen with everything you would require for a vacation accommodation. The owner was very quick to respond to any issues that came up, and there were only very small issues - but fixed promptly and you were made to feel that it wasn't any trouble to help you out. I would stay in this apartment again. The Glacier Lodge is a fantastic location for ski in/ski out access in the upper village. A big thank you to the owner of this apartment for giving us a fabulous vacation holiday, in a great apartment.

Great stay! We loved our holiday here and the place was great! If I were to suggest some improvements, I would recommend getting more hooks (between ski clothes, towels and bathing suits there were not enough hooks), have more family games available and an updated movie library would be appreciated.

A really nice apartment in the Glacier Lodge, which is close to the lifts and has a nice pool and hot tub area.

Nicely renovated kitchen and bathrooms and tasteful artwork on the walls. A small downside is that there is only 1 shower for the whole apartment. All the faucets are nice and modern. They are a bit confusing though because the way you turn the handle to get cold water in the kitchen gives you hot water in the bathroom. Maybe it would make sense to switch the hot and cold water lines on at least one of them to make them all the same.

Best unit at Glacier Lodge

We have stayed in several units at the Glacier Lodge and this unit has been our favorite by far. I like to cook so it was nice to have good quality pots and nonstick pans and knives. There are basic spices and pantry items already there. Storage is improved with many hooks in the closet and hallways. I loved the French doors into the bedroom. It gave a more spacious feel and allowed easier access to the deck.

I was afraid that there would be a lot of traffic noise but the trees really block that out. It is much more quiet than units overlooking the pool or restaurants. We will definitely return to this unit for our next trip.

Really enjoyed our stay at Glacier Lodge. The location was great, no noise and a short stroll to Whistler Village and less than 5 minutes walk to the ski lift. We are a family of four and our Teenagers enjoyed having their own room upstairs. The master Bedroom is large and we all found the beds comfy.

The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of plates, glasses & cutlery. Lots of extras were provided like bin bags, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, foil etc. The lounge has a large sofa and two leather chairs and a massive TV. The dining room table is large and could easily seat 8 people. We thought the en-suite bathroom had a shower, we didn't read the description properly, it just has a sink & WC. Loads of towels are provided as well.

Well kept flat nicely furnished

This flat is well kept and nicely furnished, everything we needed was available and the heated bathroom tiles are a nice touch. Shirley provides a great concierge service with lift passes in the home and a personalized message waiting for us when we arrived. For mine, Glacier Lodge is the best development in Whistler for a family with ski shop, pool, pub, day spa, bottle shop and restaurant in the building and only a short walk to the Wizard chair that takes you up Blackcomb.

We liked that the flat was directly opposite the shared laundry so we could check for an empty washer/dryer without waking the length of the building and have clean and dry base layers the next day. Only suggestion for Gord is to put a fold-up clothes drying rack into the flat, for hanging neck warmers/gloves etc on. If we come back to Whistler we will stay here a third time.

Updated modern condo next to Fairmont Chateau!

This was our first visit to Whistler in the winter and we loved it! We had sunshine for 4 of our 6 days and the snow was fantastic! Glacier Lodge is right next to Fairmont Chateau, just a few minutes walk to the Blackcomb ski lifts in Upper Village, not ski in/ski out. Our family of 4 adults had plenty of room in this nicely renovated and decorated condo with a king bed in the master bedroom (with additional small sofa) and upstairs loft bedroom with 2 beds. There is a nice full bathroom and extra 1/2 bath in the master. There is a comfortable sofa and 2 leather chairs in the living room with gas log fireplace and huge flatscreen tv. 7 people can be seated around the dining room table and the owner,

Gord, has supplied place settings for 12, which made it convenient to have several meals, load the dishwasher, and still have dishes and lots of glasses (wine & martini) to use. We were delighted that the pantry wasn't completely empty as it had non-perishable spices, salt and pepper, vinegars, flour, sugar, foil, things that one doesn't always want to buy for a short stay. Although we didn't use it, the coin operated laundry is right across the hall. The condo even had laundry detergent available, as well as a baby gate and portable playpen/crib. Most condos do not have these things available for guests.

Glacier Lodge also had hotel luggage carts available in the garage to assist with unloading your luggage from the carpark. The condo was in the perfect location for us as we could get to the lifts easily and the ski shop in the lobby had a nice selection of high performance skis. There is a small market across the street and a liquor store downstairs. My guys used the exercise room; we didn't use the pool or jacuzzi, but many other guests used it. Enjoyed our walk across the street to Lost Lake trails which were well maintained with the snow packed on the trails, not icy, and then around the Village.

We went to Gord's restaurant suggestion, El Furniture Warehouse (yes that's the name! Every food item is $4.95), but Shirley, the concierge gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants and ski shops (as my boys wanted Alpine touring equipment) and encourage us to buy discounted lift tickets. We will be back again for another stay. There is so much to do in the area!

We love GL for it's location, overall quality and value for money. This is the third appt. we have taken in the building and found it to be well appointed and equipped. One point to note that the second bath is only a separate WC to the master, so only one bath/shower! Note for families of 5 adults!

Glacier Lodge is a great condo facility. It has recently been renovated, the heated pool and two hot tubs are fabulous. Fitness room and bicycle storage also appreciated. Staff at the front desk are very helpful. Our suite - 326 - was well appointed with comfortable furniture; we particularly liked the 60" television in the great room and the king size bed in the master suite. Additional high chair and "Pack & Play" for our two year old grandson were provided at no additional charge. While we did not use her, a concierge service was made available to us.
