Our new favourite place in Whistler, hands down! Perfect location (so close to the village but away from the noise), wonderfully outfitted and updated condo with anything and everything you can imagine. The beds are super comfy and the appliances are a dream.

The owner is beyond amazing and really goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I canĂ¢??t say enough about Paula, the condo and the location and could not imagine staying anywhere else. We miss it already!

This may be one of the cleanest, best equipped condos we've rented over the decade we've been renting. Paula's home has every appliance you could want and more importantly they are all in working order. The unit is across from the pool and hot tub and across the street from the bus stop. Paula welcomed us with a bunch of treats to make our stay easy and enjoyable.

We will be coming back. Please treat her home with respect, we want her to keep renting it!

We loved our stay at Paula's condo. There was everything that we needed and more, and she was always available and responsive to any questions that we might have.

She went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, offering early check-in/late check-out, extra parking for guests, etc.

The place is very cosy, central and quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked....what more could you ask for? We will definitely try to stay again! Thanks so much Paula!

 Our condo SLEEPS 2-4 GUESTS for comfortable sleeping, & enjoying time in the living room area. The living room can fit the guests who like to stretch out while watching TV.  The 40" TV is on an arm able to move for better viewing while watching TV on the sofa.

Bright  modern lights throughout our home, along with  LED lights with dimmer switches.

There are extra storage racks & clothing hooks to hang up your ski gear.  

Our professional cleaning company takes pride in keeping our condo clean and will respond to your telephone call, if needed.  Our professional cleaner arrives to clean the unit when you check out. You can also contact Guy, our local repair person if anything needs repairing.  We have an excellent concierge, Shirley Hills, who  can provide all types of information  for you. She  can get you current rates for  discounted ski tickets & have them waiting for you on our kitchen counter. Shirley knows Whistler and can help make your stay here even better!

Our location makes Sun Path an often requested guest choice. We are a short walk to the village with two grocery stores within a less than a 5 minute stroll to both of them. There are a handful of  good restaurants within a three minute walk of Sun Path.  A block away is the Marketplace Shopping Center and it will provide many of your necessities.

Non-Smokers Only Our home is not suitable for guests who prefer to smoke.
People with Restricted Mobility All one level on the ground floor with no stairs to climb and has a shower unit which can be accessed easily.
Seniors Our home is accessible for seniors. Our unit is all one level with no stairs. No ladder to climb to get into bed. Seniors are welcome.

Graduation & Stag/Stagette Parties We do not accept graduation, stag, stagette parties. We do not accept reservations made by parents for their students. No young adults are allowed to rent our home during the Victoria Day weekend in May, December/January typical "party" weekends or other special party weekends that the village square hotels are reserved.

Policies

  Please read our policies before you send an inquiry asking for a reservation and wait for a response back to you.  You are accepting these policies with your payment. May to October guests, if you are bringing bikes,please list how many mountain / or family bikes you are bringing with you and if you need to store one expensive bike inside my entryway. I can provide some plastic to wrap it and lean it against our entryway bench. Two and three bikes cannot be be stored inside our home. Please see "House Rules" included in the Housekeeping section.which include leaving the kitchen very clean on check out day.
  

 

 

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests First night is non refundable. Balance refundable, less 10% transaction fee with 60 days' notice; less than 60 days notice, the balance will be refunded depending on how many nights the condo is able to be rebooked. I do try to rebook days for guests that need to cancel a reservation.Online trip insurance is recommended to cover sudden illness etc. for guests that need to cancel a reservation or decide to change plans.
Cancellations Made by Owners A reservation that has been made with not following policies will be cancelled. A check will be mailed back to you, minus transaction fees and service fee charged. You need to send an inquiry and wait for a response back about a reservation. Please list everything necessary for me to know about your stay. Be sure to include the number of guests staying.
Courtesy Hold Reservations I list our condo on more than this site. Returning star guests that have stayed will be given the option to have another reservation held for them for a short period of time.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds because of delayed arrivals or because of weather -related conditions. You may arrive anytime after the listed check in time and late in the evening is fine, also. Please let me know if you are arriving late.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information You will be contacted for coded access and very detailed instructions. You will be emailed and asked when you are ready to receive a door code. Please check your junk file folder if you have been notified and don't get any message from me. Please read all of the information sent to you from me before you arrive at the condo.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract Please read all the policies. Accept all policies before reserving our home. You are agreeing to follow all of the owners' policies with your credit card payment. The guest that is reserving the condo also needs to stay in the condo and not reserve the condo for someone else to stay there.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments A failure to pay when due will result in cancellation. I will try several times to reach you and call you before cancelling your reservation. No refund will be given if more than 1 day late on payment. Check your junk file folder, also to see if an email is in there about a late payment.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage If you wish to store one expensive bike inside our home, please contact me by email about storing a bike inside our small entryway.The bike needs to be clean would need to be wrapped in plastic( provided for you) to protect our entryway bench from damage. A bike should not be stored beyond our entryway area. Regular family bikes and mountain bikes can be stored in the garage bike cages. Bikes outside on our ground floor patio are not safe to store them there.
Check-In Time 4 P.M. is the normal check in time. I try to make allowances to fit our guests' needs if you need an earlier time and will check with our cleaner to see if that is possible for you.
Check-Out Time 10:30 A.M. Please load the dishwasher and start it by 10. It takes 3 hours for the cycle to finish. If you use the coffee maker, you are to make sure it is very clean before you check out. The kitchen should be left clean. Please put any dirty towels in the washer and start the washer before checking out. All garbage and recycling bag needs to be carried out. If you are checking out early on your last morning, please send me an email.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs I am contacted by my cleaner about the condition of my home after each guest check out. To avoid extra cleaning costs, please remember to remove your shoes and boots after entering our home. The kitchen oven and stovetop should be left clean. Please wash the towels separately and not with any clothing. Please brush off the BBQ grill after using it. Please start the dishwasher before you check out.
Excessive Noise Sea To Sky Security Company can be called.Their phone number is listed on our entryway door. Excessive noise is grounds for eviction.
Garbage Removal It is the total responsibility of the guests to carry out all garbage and recycle items when checking out. There is a recycle white bin under the sink. Use the key to get into the locked garage/recycle room, which is close to the garage temporary parking area.
Housekeeping The unit will be clean for your arrival. It is the guest responsibility to leave the kitchen clean, including the kitchen stove and oven clean Please ask about other house rules.
Internet Availability & Usage Free to use by our guests. Password is in your check in information and also posted in the white binder on the counter. Also please make sure that the TVs are still working before you check out.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily injury in our home or while in transit to or while on resort property.
Locking Door Garage entrance fob and garage door/pool key must be left on the kitchen counter at departure time. There is a $200 fee for replacement cost. If you lose the keys, please know that you will be expected to pay for the replacement set and they are made specially for each condo, so it takes time to replace them. Please lock all doors and windows whenever you leave the unit and check the sliding glass door in the one bedroom to make sure it is locked.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour always on call. Call Shirley first. Our cleaner, Roy's phone number, is listed in our kitchen. Shirley or Roy can contact our repair person that is on call. Shirley Hills's number is 604.932.9893. Guy, our local repair person's cell phone number is provided. If Roy or Shirley don't answer or return your phone call immediately and the condo needs a repair, please call Guy and also email me, so that I am aware of a problem and or needed repair.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Our rate is based on 2- 4 guests. Many of the Sun Path condos are the most comfortable with 2-4 guests in many of the units. Children are welcome. Please help them with the TV/ DVD directions and please check the TVs to make sure they all are working before you check out.
Missing Items With your credit card payment, you are accepting responsbility for missing or damaged items.
Noise Restrictions No loud noise from 10 P.M. until 7 A.M. Eviction without any refund. There is a $200 fine from Sea to Sky Security for excessive noise, which the renter will pay.
Parking & Ticketing Designated parking space for your car. Unloading zone is a temporary one and a few spaces are for up to 3 hours. Fob for garage area to park in will be provided for you. Visitors' temporary parking area is only for 30 minutes. Tow trucks TOW AWAY many cars in Whistler. Please move your car inside the gated secure area at Sunpath once you have unloaded your car.
Policy Updates .The policies are updated.
Property Damage Renters assume all responsibility for any damage done to the unit and to the contents in the unit while they are renting the unit. NO graduation or bachelor parties accepted.
Rental Accommodation Zoning It is zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Evicted for not following condo policies. No pets allowed. Bikes are not to be brought into our condo and stored there without email permission from us, no loud parties, loud music, or a security company having to come to the unit because of noise problems and these areas could be part of the eviction with no refund.

Property Details

This is a ground floor unit with no stairs. The entry way leads into the open concept living space.

The hallway leads to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom suite has its own private bathroom and has been recently renovated. The second bedroom has the second bathroom conveniently right next to it. 

The washer and dryer has been replaced with a top of the line large steam washer and dryer.

 There is a new Kitchen Aid dishwasher,  which is one of the latest models available. A window in the door and LED lights inside show you when your dishes are finished washing.

The  ceramic top range has bridge units for adjusting the size of pots and pans for more even cooking. The convection oven cooks food in a shorter period of time.

The  microwave has all types of settings on it and heats a cup of water in 90 seconds.  Heavy duty garbage disposal has been installed, but cannot have certain types of vegetables put down in it.

The  refrigerator ia new.  Recipes for some specialty drinks have been provided for you in the kitchen cabinets.

Many types of serving dishes and extra cooking tools are provided in the cabinets and drawers. Two glass shelves have been added to a kitchen wall.

 There are extra condiments in the refrigerator and many types of spices in  the cupboards.  We request that if you are going to use our fully equipped kitchen and appliances that you plan to leave the kitchen in very clean condition.

Dining Area

The modern Jamestown style table with glass top and four chairs with removable seat cushions is very comfortable and make TV viewing more pleasant from that area.

Special Features

Our condo is filled with many extras and once you step in our entrance, you will notice the difference when  comparing it to many other Whistler units.

Suquamish, Washington artist, Sandra Maddox designed and painted an original scene of Whistler Village Square for our tile backsplash area where it is highlighted with a  under- the- cabinet light bar with dimmer switch.  Ceiling lighting fixtures to make the rooms bright and light. Special  lighting in both bedrooms with dimmer switches on new lamps.

Closets have been redesigned and organized to provide more storage space.

There are  emergency flashlights plugged into outlets for power failures.

Retractable screen door on front patio door. 

 A ceiling fan is over the dining room table with retractable blades with lights in it with dimmable feature on the wall for it  and the retractable screen door that leads to the front patio.

 There is a drying rack in the ski closet to hang up and dry out your ski clothes for a few of those very snowy days.

 Bring your laptop and check the weather conditions on the web cams at the top of Whistler and Blackcomb with our free internet. The directions are in the storage closet to make sure you know if the internet is working.

About Us

We are an extended family that loves Whistler with all of its outdoor sports and beautiful mountains.  We like the convenience of parking our car and being able to walk around Whistler.  Having a vacation home close enough to a grocery store with being able to walk to it is a bonus. We love being close to the village area with all the small shops and great restaurants with year-round pato dining. We have added many items to our home that we enjoy using while we are there and our guests seem to enjoy them, too. Our kitchen is set up for real cooking and not just snacking. All the special lighting in our home makes it a real special one.  When we are not staying in our vacation home, we try to provide great guest service and wish to make all of our guest happy with their stays.
