Great location, ski in/out , it's bright and airy, fully equipped with a spectacular view. Suzanne is a very helpful and accommodating. Shared washing is easy, just outside the door near the lift - 2 x $1 coins. Hot tub was great, Powder Hounds restaurant which is great is in the building so you can just stroll down, 5Forty Café is in the building and is great for a morning coffee and Morrisey's Public House is just across the path which we loved for an après drink. Everything else is nearby as well. Home away from home. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Fireside Lodge! Sun Peaks is such a cute little ski town. I loved that we were just off the edge of town where we could see it could be busy (non- Covid!! Easy ski in and ski out - perfect. Suzanne was wonderfully responsive and accommodating when needed. We will be back!

Location location! The location of this property is fantastic and parking/access to the unit was very easy. The dishwasher basically doesn't work at all, so cleanliness of dishes is questionable at best - recommend hand-washing to save yourself the annoyance of pulling dirty dishes out of the DW.

Disposal of garbage/recycling was confusing. The instructions indicated 'black tie garbage bags' of which there weren't any and that to leave the bags 'by the front door' - the front door of what? I asked another guest in the parkade who told me the code to get into the garbage/recycling room in the garage. Not sure what we would have done with our waste if I hadn't randomly run into someone else dealing with theirs.

But overall our stay was really great, beds and linens were good, tv took some time to figure out so instructions left for that would have been helpful! Amazing location though!

Top floor unit in Fireside Lodge

Great condo located on the village stroll. Easy self check-in with keypad. Free parking (narrow stalls) underground. We brought along our own ski locks for the ski lock up room. Pop on your skis outside the building & go. Suzanne was a lovely host recommended a gas & grocery stop in Kamloops on the way. Cooking a pizza was a bit awkward, no baking sheet in the kitchen. We did not use the common hot tub. Powder Hounds restaurant downstairs has great schnitzel.

Excellent ski-out, ski-in location. Lovely outlook to Sunburst runs while quiet in the building with minimal outside noise. Well equipped kitchen and spacious living plus good tv selection. The owner Suzanne responds quickly. Perfect ski holiday experience.

This apartment was great for our family ski holiday. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and had all we needed. The apartment was very warm and the beds very comfortable. We loved the views from this property and the ability to ski/out. I would definitely stay here again.

Fireside Lodge - Early January 2018 Ski Weekend

Cleanliness of unit was disappointing upon arrival: Used towel hanging on back of Master Bedroom Door. Master bedroom toilet had black marks inside bowl under rim. Long Black hairs stuck to bathtub surround wall. Bathroom floor dirty/unswept. Candy wrappers on floor next to nightstand in second bedroom.

Owner responsiveness to early check in/late check out was not received in time to benefit. We were able to reach Property Manager on Saturday afternoon and obtain 12 Noon late check out on Sunday and owner did eventually respond via email on Sunday at 11am.

Overall unit and development was nice enough and good value for the money with a convenient ski-in/out location, but cleanliness could have been much better and was not up to expectations. Also no bar soap or body wash was provided for showers (liquid hand soap for sinks only in bathrooms).

A near perfect getaway

The parking garage was secure, convenient, and access to the ski locker was handy after a day of riding. I brought my own frying pan with me so I had used only 1 other pot but found the provided cooking equipment, utensils and crockery to be useful for my needs.

The beds were comfy, and great views out the balcony. I brought my PS3 up to ensure I didnt miss any shows on Netflix and got everything hooked up easy.

The only two items I'd hope to have for a future stay might be a new cheese grater; the provided one was not cleaned properly from the previous stay and didn't look like it would grate cheese very well anyways. Also Id recommend the sound proofing be re-done on the windows if at all possible.

The main bedroom faces the street; my sleep would have been much better if the voices from the party goers leaving the bar at night or if the food supply truck engine noises didn't carry through the window as easily as it did.

Everything went smooth with my recent stay and the snow conditions were much better than last year. I hope to be back next year.

We loved it here. Great location. The only thing that lacked was a few things in the kitchen. There was no cookie/baking sheet so using the oven for what we needed wasn’t an option. Also maybe a few new frying pans. We didn’t have a lot of good luck with the 2. Hot tub was definitely not hot. Would come back again it’s perfect for small family

Very disappointing. Stayed from Dec. 19 to Dec. 23 and experienced the following problems:

1. Door lock malfunctioned, could not access the unit for much of the day, Dec. 20.

2. DVD player in the side bedroom did not work

3. Hot Tub not functioning for the afternoon of Dec. 20

4. Cleaners came in too early (9:30) on the day of departure, Dec. 23.

The owner was aware of the problems and tried to address them as best as she could, but it still ended up being a unsatisfactory stay at this property.

We have stayed in this unit a number of times and each time it has been excellent. Its position is very good, being able to ski directly down through the village to the lifts and then able to ski back to a position right across the road. Being on level 4, there are lovely views from the balcony across the village to Sundance Mountain in one direction and to the east village in the other direction. Undercover parking is a bonus although the parking bays are a bit tight for the (mostly large) vehicles. Kitchen equipment is excellent and the crock pot (slow cooker) is a wonderful inculsion.

Great Location Fabulous ski in/out

This is a great place to stay the ski in/out is absolutely fantastic, right at the top of the village. Park the car and you won't need it again! The condo is beautiful and has all the amenities wi-fi, dvd's and games. Lots of space for us and very light and airy. The only point that was a slight negative is that the owners were let down by the cleaning company. No soap in either bathroom. The ensuite had used dental floss and a grotty cleaning rag left behind. I think that things had run out and no-one had checked. Just little niggles, but it lets down such a nice place. I would definitely recommend this place and we will stay again.
