The location was good but we have a few complaints. The place was very dark because there was no working overhead light in the kitchen and master bedroom. One of the kitchen lights was also out. When we spoke to the manager we were asked to change it ourselves. The shower curtain rod fell down during our stay on the first night. I told the manager but it was never fixed. It turned a 2 bath place to a 1 1/2 bath. One shower for 5 people. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay. Our main complaint was with the management.

We have stayed in this complex and the neighboring one a number of times, and would rate this condo as pretty good value. The condo is clean and well enough looked after. It is roomy, and we liked the layout. We may have gotten lucky, but it was quiet and peaceful with no noise from surrounding suites, which is always welcome. Well stocked with pots, pans, and other cooking utensils. In suite laundry is nice to have, though the dryer seems to need a long drying cycle. Dishwasher is towards the end of its useful life. But we would happily stay there again.
The associated parking stall is very well located for the suite. But the parking stalls are in general pretty tight. This time we left the vehicle parked and used the city bus for getting to the Gondolas, and that bus stop is well located for this purpose. The condo is only a short walk to Olympic plaza, and onto the village, and other enjoyments of the area.
Our kids enjoyed the pool area, and we enjoyed the hot tub. As is normal of these condo complexes, periodically you get a couple of nosey people at the hot tub that can affect other people's enjoyment.

We come to Whistler as often as we can during the Bike Park season and have stayed at a wide variety of places. This was one of my favorites for sure! Plenty of space for kids and grownups, and the kids loved having the pool at the end of the day.
A few things to note, next time I will bring some of my own kitchen gear, the knives in the kitchen could not even cut an onion, and the "nonstick" pans were pretty warped so wouldn't cook evenly on the electric surface. Also, all the lightbulbs but one were out in the upstairs bathroom, a short term problem that can be easily fixed.
Overall I would definitely stay here again!

The location in the village, for access to restaurants and shops is excellent. A little far from the lifts if walking with gear, but bus is outside, or you can park at Lot 7 or Creekside to get closer to the lifts with your gear. Pool and hot tub were lovely, and overall ambiance at NorthStar is excellent.
The cleaning company had not properly cleaned the unit when we checked in, and I notified the owner. They took care of it immediately and were very responsive when I contacted them two times. To be honest the unit is well used and could use a little TLC. A better cleaning service, new bed linen, and touch up paint would go a long way improving the suite. These are minor, but do impact the first impression and overall feeling of "cleanliness".
The kitchen was well stocked, in suite laundry useful, beds were comfortable (but linen needs replacing), and the amenities and location are great. Overall a good experience.

Location! An easy street crossing to Marketplace and onto the village stroll. Once you park your car you don't need it anymore until you leave. Condo is on the second floor of this complex. The condo looks right into the complex pool. Marcel was quick to answer any questions. Looking forward to renting this place in future.

We spent 4 nights in July in this condo. The weather was super hot, so A/C would have been nice (but we already knew that it didn't have A/C). In fact, A/C is hard to find in Whistler (in condos), and when you do find it, it's pretty expensive. The fans were a great help. It was great to have a pool to cool off in, and the big balcony overlooking the pool almost gave a "resort" feel. Unfortunately, there is currently construction going on at the neighboring building, so it's a bit noisy and there are construction materials (and workers) everywhere. However, this is just temporary, and I would have no problem recommending this apartment to any of my friends. In fact, we're thinking of booking it again for next summer!
The location is absolutely fantastic - literally across the street from the Marketplace (IGA, McDonald's, Tim Hortons, etc.), and a quick walk into the village. The condo itself is great - very well equipped, with huge windows everywhere, which made it very bright during the day, and cooled things off in the evening (we slept with them open, which felt great). My two teenaged boys liked having their own beds, and it was nice having two bathrooms as well. We all found the beds to be very comfortable, and it was quiet at night, even though our windows were open. (Note that there are stairs going up to the condo, and then more stairs going up to the bedrooms, so if that's an issue, you might want to look for another place.)
Marcel was very attentive and I received quick responses whenever I had a question or a concern. His check-in instructions are simple and the condo was very easy to find. Highly recommended!!!!

Easy to find and close to the village stroll and grocery store. We enjoyed our time in the suite and the detailed information sent by the owner made it easy to access and enjoy the condo. Our only concern was that there is no over-height parking on site and we had to pay $30 per night to park in the village. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the complex is quiet and convenient.

Great place, felt like home. Would definitely consider staying there again. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed (missed a rubber spatula but that's just a personal preference). Lights in upstairs bathroom need to be replaced as half of them were out but this is just a minor thing. Otherwise great place, location and the rental had everything we needed. Was super easy to check in and out as well.

Not a bad place to stay the manager was easy to deal with and very pleasant. Out off all the condos we've rented in Whistler this one was the most beaten down as the walls are all pretty banged up and the numbers are falling off the door. If you are planning to have anyone sleep on the pullout in the living room don't as it is more of a torture device than a bed and even kids will complain about all the springs stabbing them in the back.
The kitchen has most everything you need this complex has a nice pool. Another note we where not made aware of is that there was a recent fire in the building next door and the demolition/ construction in ongoing so don't expect to sleep in as they start about 7:30am (July 2017)

The property is great, exactly as described. I love the location, close to the main part of the village. At night it is quiet so you can get some rest. The pool's proximity to the unit was also great. Marcel included great instructions for checking in and also left a sheet in the unit with the pertinent codes.
I would have given 5 stars for all except for the parking. It would have been nice to receive a warning about the tight parking spot. We have a SUV and found you could only park into the spot once you emptied the car of people and contents and folded the side mirrors back. Once we got the car in we didn't want to move the car.

POSITIVES: Owner very quick to respond to emails. Owner was accommodating for an early check-in. Condo in a good location and very quiet. Both bathrooms were clean.
NEGATIVES: In need of maintenance, TLC and refurbishment - e.g The bed linen was very old and worn. The pillows and duvets very old and stained. The top duvet cases and top pillow cases (not the white ones underneath) for all beds were filthy (had to complain about the dirtiness and dried bogeys). The mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. One of the single beds was broken. There was a broken ceiling light. There was a socket in the small bedroom which was hanging off the wall with exposed wiring, but had a lamp plugged into it. All the closets were full of owner items, including old TVs, old duvets and a broken fan, plus stores of new toilet rolls and tissues, which restricted our usage for clothes as this took up most of the space. The blinds in both bedrooms were broken with sections missing or broken which meant that they didn't give complete coverage/privacy. The front door numbers were hanging off. Generally condo furniture was old and could do with updating. This is a shame as we thought the condo had the potential to be excellent.

Just arrived back from a trip to Whistler & Vancouver! The Condo at Stoney Creek, Northstar, Whistler was everything we needed and more than we expected! Four adult, family guests, in Whistler for a wedding, loved the facilities and location of this property and would certainly rent it again, should we ever return to Whistler - which is highly likely!
If I have only one comment to make, it's that the 2 single duvets, in the second bedroom, need replacing ! The 'stuffing' is now only around the edges of both duvets, leaving the middles looking and feeling just like a sheet. That said, we used the extra (winter) duvets/throws, that are stored in the wardrobes, to compensate. However, this would not be enough to put me off renting this lovely property again.
Thank you Marcel for the ease of booking and value for money. H B.

This rental was excellent value for the money. Marcel was very responsive and the location is perfect. Walking distance to the village and shops. My only comment is that the condo itself could use some deep cleaning and updates. There is a lot of wear and tear due to the age of the unit. We loved the size for our family of four and the 2 bathrooms, both with showers, were critical with 2 teenagers. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location with the village a couple of minutes away. Large unit with lots of space for our family of four. Kids loved the big pool and hot tub. The pool was shut down right at 10pm so no late night noise. No highway noise either. Not the best equipped kitchen but we ate out a lot. The cleaners came twice during our 10 day stay which was great. Marcel responded very quickly to any questions and was always available. Would stay here again.

The TV and other A/V devices need a thorough update - 5 remote controls with one held together by duct tape!?!?
The quality of the bedding leaves a lot to be desired. The master bed was awful and the pillows were sorely lacking. Glad we brought our own pillows. Lighting throughout the apartment was poor as well.
However, you can't beat the location and the pool and hot tub are well maintained.
All in all a decent place but the owners need to put more thought into their, "Home Away from Home" mantra.
