Welcome to The Penthouse at the Top of The Raven, a warm, inviting, and family-friendly mountain retreat just minutes from the ski runs and the excitement of Happy Valley. Perfect for large families or groups, this incredible suite offers breathtaking views through massive 25-foot vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Boasting 3 master bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, plus another King bedroom and two additional bunk rooms, as well as a mezzanine-level games area, our home is designed to provide both open living spaces for socializing and cozy nooks for private relaxation. Whether you're lounging on the plush sofas by the gas fireplace, watching a movie on the massive 4K UHD TV, or soaking in the private hot tub on one of the two decks, there's something for everyone.
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, with all the amenities you could need. The loft mezzanine doubles as a games room, featuring a pool table and another TV, offering hours of fun for guests.

This room was perfect for our large group. The kids loved in the loft (upstairs) area - it was perfect to have a pool table, their own "bar" fridge, sitting area and TV. The main area was spacious and comfortable. I was very impressed with the amount of cutlery, plates, glasses etc. I also appreciated the selections of cookware. The beds were cozy, lot's of blankets and pillows available. The upstairs bunk rooms have no windows so it was super hot for the kids.
The hot tub was awesome to have, nice clean water, well kept. At one point it needed water added to it and they were there in a mere hour or so to attend to it. It's very well maintained (every 3 days) and it shows. The ski route home is easy once you find your bearings around. The ski out requires a small walk, which was manageable. Just as an FYI
to anyone reading, the 4 main master bedroom are all on the main floor, but only 3 have a bathroom in them. So one king room has to use the main bathroom.
Overall, this is a pretty darn nice place to stay. It's very spacious and has plenty of rooms and a nice open main room. Those are the pluses.
It's really the list of "buts" that keep me from recommending it. Here are the buts:
- It's not really ski in/out. At best you can ski in to the condo, but there is no good way to ski out. Period.
- The furnishings are just out dated. The couches sag and are just plain uncomfortable. The TV's and electronics are in need of repair and adjustment. The upstairs ones that are supposed to be hooked to a playstation and a Wii did not have any of the cords plugged in and not sure if all the right cords were there so we gave up. The main floor TV works pretty well, but the remote doesn't work to turn the volume up or down, which is the 2nd most important function of the remote. And finally, if you run the fireplace it overheats the TV system and it won't work at all. This is just poor design as the equipment all sits in a built in nook that is 2 feet above the fireplace.
- Kitchen could just use a bit of an upgrade on everything. There is an espresso maker that we never could make work, but then no coffee grinder. The utensils and pots and pans are fine, but definitely many are in need of replacement.
- Don't pick this place for the pool. Our group of kids (8 - 12 age range) didn't even want to go in.
- Lastly, we spent $8,000 to stay there a week and then one of us left some apple ear pods (the wireless kind) and they charged us $26 to have them returned to us.
