Ardmore ( Woodhaven 33 ) is a luxurious and spacious 4 bedroom town house in an excellent location. During the winter season it is ski in ski out and has wonderful views over the slopes of Mt. Morrisey. In the summer you find yourself alongside the 15th hole of the challenging 18 hole alpine course. Ardmore offers the perfect get-away at anytime of year.

Sun Peaks is the 3rd largest ski area in Canada. There are runs for all standards of skiers, with boarders, and nordic skiers all well catered for. There are some fantastic runs through the fir forests as well as excellent skiing for beginners or for those who want to test themselves on 'Double Black Diamond' slopes.

This home worked extremely well for our 2 families. It is very well stocked with kitchen supplies, which was greatly appreciated (Tupperware, plastic wrap, several pots, salt & pepper, cooking oil, even a Soda Stream, etc.).

We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, though having hot tub towels would have been great as we always felt a bit guilty using clean white bath towels for the hot tub. The beds were comfortable with cozy linen. Lots of space for teens to hang out on their own (in the lower level den) and the ski in option was awesome. We came in for lunch every day and didn't drive our cars at all while at Sun Peaks.

This was good value for us and we highly recommend this property!

Great unit, well furnished, good location (ski- in vía the East Village Skiway and ski-out after a short walk to the Orient and Morrisey Chairs), and nice hot tub. Just a few minor things - a second remote for the downstairs tv for the kids (or maybe we couldn’t find it), a toaster for the kitchen, and a plug for the upstairs bathroom sink. Would love to come back again next year!

Words truly could not express how happy we were to have the chance to stay at Woodhaven this February Family Day weekend!

Everything we needed was provided and the location was fantastic for all the activities we did. When we wanted to go for a walk at the village we just drove ourselves down there and enjoyed the evening walks around the village. The place was very cozy and relaxing and having the heated flooring really added to that comfort, especially during the winter season!

Another great stay at your vacation pad ! We definitely did not want to leave. The only thing that didn't work very well was the tv downstairs, very finicky. Could use a few new small appliances in the kitchen, i.e. electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, but these are minor things. Thanks again for the use of your place !

Great stay, we had a wonderful time in your comfortable townhouse. Good location for skiers, boarders would have difficulty coming back with the east village skiway being too flat. There is a free bus that stops right out front. The unit could use a few items. Kitchen: Large sized glasses and coffee cups, more plates and bowls ( so the dishwasher didn't have to be run so often ), a couple of big pots for soups and potatoes. Living room: TV upgrade, changing the wires to watch a movie is a bit dicey. Master bedroom: King sized bed. Only suggestions, none of that would make me hesitate in renting the unit again or recommending it to others.

Great weekend getaway

The Woodhaven location is about a 15 minute stroll from the main village. This was not an issue for us as we do not spend much time in the Village, however the walk is pleasant along the pathways at the base of Mt Morissey. Village Shuttle runs every 30 minutes from the parking lot #5 just across the road.

The accommodations were as described and comfortable for our party of 9 adults. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, hot tub relatively private. Easy ski down to the Mt Mourissey chair lift from across the road and ski in right to the complex from East Village Skiway.

Owners quick to respond to any questions we had. Love this place and will book again.

This is the second time I have spent a Christmas in this beautiful Woodhaven home in Sun Peaks. Both times it has been a get together with grandparents, sisters, in-laws, cousins, etc. The home is in beautiful condition and luxurious in every way.

Randy is fantastic to deal with. I would spend Christmas there every single year if I could afford it! I already can't wait for our next Christmas there!

Our stay at "Ardmore" was FANTASTIC, two families of 5 and we had plenty of room! Three teenage boys had the downstairs to themselves and the ski / board racks in the garage were put to good use. Everything we wanted/needed in a place, Thank you to Randy and Dean for answering my questions prior to our trip and for the whole booking / check in process couldn't be easier - we will DEFINITELY be back! It is a little far from the village itself, but there is a shuttle bus right across the street and you can ski in from the Sundance chair.

I would most definitely recommend staying here!

Aussie's in Sun Peaks

This was our first trip to Sun Peaks after skiing Whistler for the last 3 trips across the ditch to Canada, wow what a fantastic resort!!!!

The condo was brilliant, great views, well appointed, comfortable beds, with the downstairs den/kids area fantastic. The ski in is very easy and able to virtually ski to the front door, ski out is an easy 100m walk to the end of the development to Mt Morrissey which we enjoyed ever morning as it was not crowded like the main village chairs. Although if you have lessons starting at 9am you will need to drive or catch the bus down to the meet point in the main village as the lifts don't open early enough to ski down. I will say having a car is a must, you will need to shop for food in Kamloops as the shop in the village is limited and very expensive.

The resort staff are great, we purchased our lift tickets on line in September and got a great discount, we used the 3D cards that gave us 3 days any day and just linked to our credit card so that additional days are added when you scan on the lift at a very discounted rate (near half the price you pay in Australia). One of our children had a snowboard accident, and the ski patrol were fantastic, strapped her up and down the hill to Kamloops hospital for an X-ray, cast and back to the condo, can't thank them enough for their friendly care.

All in all a great location and fantastic condo, we'll be back !!!

White Christmas 2014

A great rental for a large group, it comfortably accommodated our two families of four. The rec room in the bottom level was good for the kids to get away from underfoot. The cleanliness was good with the exception of some clothes left behind and the master-bath could have been cleaner. The in-floor radiant heating was nice on the feet in the bathrooms and kitchen and the gas fireplace gave a nice feel, especially with the stockings hung up. The kitchen was well out-fitted but was short a potato masher and a turkey baster, but we adapted. The furniture was nice and comfortable and the table was large enough to sit 8 of us for Christmas dinner. Owner responsiveness was great in answering questions quickly or adding a day onto our trip. The ski-in/ski out is challenging but is reflected in the price: this location costs less than comparable units that are closer to the village or easier trail access. The skiing at Sun Peaks is excellent and ideal for the intermediate or beginner skier. Getting from the condo to the main hills/village is a bit of a pain as you have to take off your skis twice to cross roads. As well, if you don't make it up the Sundance chair by 3:30pm when it closes (4pm starting in Feb), you have to find an alternate way back to the condo. For the week we were there, the visibility was great. Too bad there was no night skiing. Overall, we recommend this property: we would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time.
