We had a marvelous stay in The Timbers - 3**. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The unit was clean, well furnished and had the space we needed.

Even the phone call I made about the parking was handled very well, the man on the phone straightened it up right away, good job. Ski in/ski out is excellent and access to kids areas and Happy Valley is great.

I would certainly rent there again. Cheers!

A lovely unit right at Happy Valley. Ski down to the gondola from the front door and right to the door from the ski out. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Six of us stayed for a family vacation and we had a wonderful time. We were not able to figure out the sound system but we really didnâ??t miss it anyway. We enjoyed the grill on the deck and the hot tub was perfect at the end of each day on the hill. The kitchen was very well equipped. We will definitely come back again.

Amazing Condo in Happy Valley

What an amazing property! We stayed here for a short vacation with 3 children (12 & under). The condo is large and beautiful and the layout is so functional. There's in-floor heating and 3 TVs, as well as a fireplace that's easy to use. The hot tub on the deck was great and the fireworks on a Saturday night were fabulous. The steam feature in the master shower was also a nice touch.

I couldn't recommend a better building location if you want to be within close walking distance to Happy Valley, which includes tubing, skating, sleigh rides, snowmobiling and a few beginner/children's ski runs. Also close to Lara's Gondolo, which will get you to the village centre and other ski runs.

If you want to play pool or ping pong in the games room, the cues/paddles are in the laundry room in the entrance to the condo. We couldn't find paddles or pucks for the air hockey table though. Also, there are speakers throughout the condo (and on the deck), but unless you bring CD's, I don't believe a phone or other digital device can be connected to it. An updated sound system to accommodate this would be nice.

The deck view faces west, looking at other buildings. The bedroom windows all have great views of the ski hill. We would stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying in this unit. Location was great, unit is spacious and well equipped. We had problems with the door lock not working on 2 consecutive days ... the first day the property management company had someone attend to it within 10 minutes; the second day the response was slower. We would definitely consider renting this unit again.

We had a fantastic stay at The Timbers. It was warm, clean, spacious, extremely well equipped and in an excellent location. The beds were very comfy too! Wendy, the rental manager was very responsive and easy to deal with and when I had a couple of issues with the combination door lock not working she had it seen to very quickly. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely rent this apartment again. The only thing that could have improved our experience is that my kids said that while ping pong and pool equipment was provided there was no equipment (paddles etc) to play air hockey or shuffleboard in the games room so it would have been nice if they could have enjoyed all the games there. Only a tiny detraction though to a most enjoyable experience.

Beautiful apartment, everything you need in the kitchen, fantastic TV, sound system and feels like home. The location is great, ski in ski out, we have stayed in this complex many times and love the convenience to Happy Valley for ice skating and tubing after a day on the slopes. This was an excellent condo to stay in. The ski in / ski out works better here than most places - out the door and down to the gondola which goes to the village and central lifts, quick and easy. Equally as easy coming back in. The electronic keypads on almost every door worked really well, except a key was needed to access the building when skiing back in. Ski lockers were great, except some kind of drainage is needed, as your equipment sits in the water from the melted snow in the bottom of the lockers.

The condo itself was quite exceptional. The photos and description on the website were very accurate. It is large, well appointed and quite comfortable. The kitchen, although very nice, lacks counter space and just space in general for more than one person to work in, but not a major issue. The middle bedroom has been converted from the den, so there is no closet. And more pegs or hooks in the entrance to hank ski clothes would be an improvement. Again, not a major issue.

The bathrooms, although very nice, are quite dark and almost gloomy - a little difficult shaving. The dining area is also quite dim - nice for intimate dining but difficult for playing cards or games. They talk about the built in sound system, but it is locked up and not accessible. We had three couples and a toddler, and there was more than enough room and dishes and cookware and everything we needed.

There was a minor issue with the fridge, and the management company responded promptly. There were a few additional very minor issues, which the management company has passed on to the owners, and I am sure they will be corrected before the next renter arrives. The BBQ and hot tub were great.

Generally speaking, an excellent rental, well priced and good value for the money.

We are situated in a perfect location for access to ALL resort amenities. Just steps to the Happy Valley Adventure Area and Lodge, the huge outdoor skating area, tube park, x-country ski trails, snowshoe trails, snowmobile rentals, ice climbing tower, restaurants, bar and cafeteria. A 5-minute ride up the Gondola will take you to the Village center ski lifts, restaurants & shopping and Kids Centre. Ski in at day's end over the Skiers Bridge or down Happy Valley Way right to the Timbers door!
