Have been staying at Big White every winter for past twenty or so years. This is one of the best units we have stayed in. Period. Location is true ski in/out- literally walk out front door and put on your skis on and go. Very close walk to Happy Valley and gondola. A beautiful spacious unit with all amenities and a really well equipped kitchen. Awesome view. We had a very prompt response to a minor maintenance issue as well. First class unit and management.
My only nit pick is not at all directed at this unit but at the noisy group we had in the unit above us. The building has nice high ceilings and is well insulated but it was like they were bowling up there or something. Note for whomever owns/manages that unit above #20- put a sign up letting renters know to respect the guests below them! Or maybe it was a subwoofer on the floor? A lovely homely apartment. Very handy location, with only a short walk to the Happy Valley Inn. The walk home is up a steepish embankment but manageable. The appliances were ample and of good quality. Our only negative was the noise from above, which at times seemed like a herd of elephants were above us. The joys of ski boots I’m guessing. The property had excellent ski in/ski out and is very conveniently located for the Village and Happy Valley. On the negative side the beds are so hard and uncomfortable you might as well sleep on the floor. The unit is also right next to the car park and main entrance to South Point which does make it noisy with a lot of comings and goings late into the evening.View Full Review Owner Has Responded
