We very much enjoyed our stay at Jeans and Bills condo. The condo is well appointed and very functional. Our daughter loved the den and having her own space. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything one needs to cook dinner in the evenings. The entry way and bathroom have heated floors, and the bathroom is well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. It was great to be able to relax in the hot tub after a day of skiing. The ski-in and ski-out worked out perfect due to excellent snow conditions. Check-in and -out were easy and the unit was ready for our stay when we arrived. We would love to come again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jeanâ??s condo. The decor was warm and cozy and the brand new hot tub was great after a day skiing. The condo was very well equipped; the kitchen had everything we needed to create home cooked meals and there was plenty of towels and Jean was very generous with extra toilet paper, paper towels, soaps & even body wash in the shower.

Check in was a breeze and we did have an issue with the toilet but once we contacted Jean it was sorted straight away. We would love to stay at Jeanâ??s condo again when we return as we absolutely love the location with the ski in ski out trail accessible from the condo.

Very nice properties, locations perfect for us around 12 min walk to the village,(but for people who don't want to walk, free shuttle bus) House fully prepared to host the guests. The only negative thing was the constructions being done on the roof when we been there and the workers wake us up 7am everyday ( I thing the owner should Inform the guest about this). Other then that very good property, I would stay again.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only "surprise" was the small dishwasher, but that simply meant doing more frequent loads than we're used to doing when at home or just washing things in the sink. Clean, convenient, easy access, quiet -- overall a great experience.

Easy access location in the bench lands and everything we needed for our 3 nights in Whistler. Convenient access to Fairmont were our dance competition was being held and half the price of the convention rate. Parking for 2 cars was great and a relaxation in the hot tub before bed each night rounded out high energy days.

Kitchen amenities were great to help cut our meal costs and everything we needed for cooking and dining was at hand. This is the 3rd different unit we have stayed in at Stoneridge and we will definitely come back.

Great, quiet Upper Village Condo!

Lynn from Bellevue, United States
Date: Feb-27-2018 for a stay in Jan 2018

This was a great little condo in a wonderful ski-in-ski-out spot! We usually stay right in the village and I was a little worried we would be too far away in the "upper village", but it truly is just a 6-10 minute walk to the village stroll.

The only thing I wish I had realized was that unless we wanted to walk a considerably farther route along the road, our evening fun in the village ended with a trudge about 300 yards up the ski hill to the ski-in trail for the condo. (It is entirely possible that there was a shorter trail, but we didn't find it) It was great that the beginner chair next to the Wizard's chair ran until 5:15 PM so we could ski down to Merlin's and enjoy some Apres drink/appetizer specials, then take the beginner chair up to ski right into the condo path!

The condo itself is nicely appointed and had just about everything we could want for our stay. My only complaint about the kitchen is that just about every piece of stoneware had chips in it. Not a big deal though--happens with rental use. The unit was clean and the complex was quiet (no loud parties, etc.). Very fun stay for me and my boys--we would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at your lovely condo. It was well stocked up with everything we could possibly need. I loved that it was within a 15 minute walk to the village. It was very warm while we were there so my husband only had one little dip in the hot tub, but in the winter it would be amazing to enjoy the private hot tub. My only complaint was that the bed was a little hard, but my husband liked it, so I guess that's just a personal preference thing.

We loved it

Alana from Abbotsford, Canada
Date: Aug-22-2017 for a stay in Aug 2017

We've been visiting Whistler every summer for 15 years, and have stayed in many of the developments with available rentals. We'll definitely be back to this one, because of the excellent value, comfortable and well stocked interior, and convenient facilities.

THE BEST - things about this place are the available over-height parking and nearby garbage/recycling bins (if you've done a vacation rental in Whistler before, you know that those things are usually time-consuming, costly, and/or difficult to access). Also, there's a large slate-tiled entryway where bikes/skis/gear can be safely stored without causing damage to the suite. No having to leave your $5000 mountain bike in some unit's public lock-up!! That alone makes this the best suite we've stayed at.

THE GOOD - problems that were mentioned in previous reviews had been attended to by the owners. Everything was functioning properly, including the hot tub, alarm system, etc. It's very well stocked: we were a group of six, and there were towels, soap, bedding, dishes, etc, enough for everyone. Anything that we could think of that we needed, we were able to find. And, the free shuttle to the village stops right outside, every half hour. Also important, the beds and couches were comfy, and there was hot water forever with decent pressure in the shower.

THE JUST-OKAY - the unit has the usual wear-and-tear you'd expect from a rental (scuffs on wall, spark burns in the carpet near the fireplace) but those things didn't affect our enjoyment of the trip. The fact that there's only one bathroom was a bit of a challenge, but it was outweighed by all the perks of the place and not really a factor for us in the end. And, there didn't appear to be functioning speakers or stereo inside, so bring your own if you care about that. We got the outside speakers to play music from an aux cord, but had to rely on digital radio through the tv for indoor music.

OVERALL - if your group can handle sharing a single bathroom, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Nice location and nicely furnished condo

JIM from SEATTLE, United States
Date: Jan-30-2017 for a stay in Jan 2017

The location was great for ski in/out of Blackcomb. Just about a 100m walk on a trail under Wizard Express from the complex to the hill and you can ski back to the complex. The shuttle bus to the village also is very convenient and runs pretty frequently. This home was well appointed in the kitchen with plenty of glasses, dishes and various kitchen items (better than most). The living room was also nicely furnished and inviting. Bathroom seemed recently remodeled and had heated floors. Hot tub was nice and they provided number of hot tub maintenance company if we needed water added (we did). They also provided a bunch of towels in the unit (very rare) and plenty of extra supplies for toilet paper and paper towels. They have extra parking in the common lot if you have more than one vehicle which was nice. The Wi-Fi worked just fine (contrary to what another review said) but the initial instructions for access were wrong. We were able use the default network id and password on the router to get access though.

Some things to be aware.

  • Although common area of condo feels pretty spacious, bedrooms are pretty small. No enough clearance to leave a suitcase open to the side of the bed on the floor. The main bedroom had a closet to put your stuff but no dresser drawers. The closet also had several items in there for the condo (like fan, curling iron, extra box something came in, etc) that were in the way of maximizing the use of the closet.
  • The den/2nd bedroom does not have a closet or dresser to put your clothes. We had two adults using that room and they tried to lay stuff out on the top bunk.
  • We had issue with bathroom sink being very slow draining. I suppose we could have called their handyman number they provided but didn't bother.

Overall we were pleased with the condo for what we paid.

There is a bus stop (free bus) just in front of the complex. Hottub was very appreciated after a long day on the slopes. Condo was very clean with plenty of bath towels. We enjoyed the heating floor in the entryway and the bathroom. Beds and linens were very confortable. Wifi network was working very well (password needed which you could find behind the wifi router). There were no barbecue on the deck as mentioned in the caracteristics. The owner let us do a late checkout after we called them which was very appreciated. Would definitely come back again.

The house on the day of arrival, had the roof with a hole, the entrance stair floor estva loose, had some scratches on the wall of the dining table. Other than that it's a good home.

Great week in Whistler, but...

Chris from Oakville, Canada
Date: Mar-22-2016 for a stay in Mar 2016

First, the positive. This is a cozy unit that comfortably accommodated our family of four for a great week of skiing. The beds are comfy and the private hot tub is great at the end of a long day on the mountains. Itâ??s in a convenient ski-in ski-out location with a short (200 meter) ski/walk out to the main ski run leading down to Blackcombâ??s Daylodge and the Wizard chair. Itâ??s also nice and quiet but only a short free bus ride away from the main village area and all the amenities available there.

Unfortunately, during our stay we had a number of issues, and we found the owners almost completely unresponsive and difficult to reach. They did not return emails or voicemails, and the local numbers provided for both security and cleaning went to answering services that did not provide any resolution to our concerns.

The rental information package has a number of inaccuracies. There is no phone in the unit so you will need to use your cell phone if you need to contact the owners. There was also no address provided, only turn by turn instructions from the main highway. As former Whistler locals we still found it a bit of a challenge to find, and with GPS in most vehicles an address would make it much easier. Also missing from the rental information package is any mention of the alarm system (or a code to silence it) in the unit. It did not go off when we first arrived, but did later in our stay and shrieked for quite a while.

When we arrived we noted a number of damaged areas, and emailed the owners to let them know (as they request). By the next morning we had noticed a number of other issues that we wanted resolved, and had not heard back regarding the reported damage. After numerous calls and voicemails we finally were able to reach them, and they were very pleasant and promised to have our concerns addressed. However, we were there for a full week, and nothing we mentioned was fixed. While our issues were not serious (broken coffee maker, clogged drains, broken lamp) and we were able to work them out ourselves, we were left with the distinct impression that we were on our own and were certainly glad nothing more significant required attention. All in all I would say your stay here could be nice if nothing goes wrong, but if it does good luck.

Great Value - Little bit of a hiccup

Karleen from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Nov-27-2015 for a stay in Nov 2015

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Only trouble was when we arrived the place was still dirty from the previous renters and we couldn't get a hold of the owners. I finally got a hold of the cleaning company who were AMAZING and came that night to clean it for us. They mentioned that this has happened a few times before with this property.

When the owners finally got back to us they were apologetic and said they would pay for a dinner out for us, however I have emailed and left them voicemails and have not heard anything back so far (been about 3 weeks now).

We got a great deal on this place so we definitely still enjoyed our stay. The owners are in the US though, and not attentive to the unit or answering emails/calls, so if anything goes wrong you're a bit stuck.

Great location and great to have the little carport for parking.

The unit is well laid out but I felt I didn't want to sit on either of the living room chairs as they were so dirty looking. Carpet is also filthy.

I know that rental units used by skiers take a beating but I think it's time for upgrades to furniture. The deck area is in bad need of paint as well as walls which have chunks out of them. Bathroom shower doesn't turn off properly and we found it inconvenient that there was no soap in the bathroom; neither my husband and I thought to bring soap.

All in all a fun weekend. Thanks!

Our stay felt like a home away from home. I stayed there with my sister and my 4 children. It was warm, inviting and family friendly unlike a sterile hotel room. I was a little concerned that online the size was listed at 750 sq ft but when we got there it felt much larger and very open. The complex was quite and peaceful and the neighbours that we did run into were very friendly. The owners were also readily available when I needed to contact them by phone and were more than helpful. Ours was a summer stay and although temperatures were in the high 30s it was still fairly cool inside. I loved the private patio and hot tub! I would definitely book here again on my next trip to Whistler.

Note: This was only about an 8 minute walk from the Upper Village taking the trail behind the Fairmont (google maps tells you it's 16 minutes).
