Welcome to our ski in/ski out family mountain retreat at Sun Peaks. Our vacation home is close to the village and located right next to the Morrisey Express Chair Lift.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom ground-level-access unit has been equipped with everything to make your stay memorable. Open views on Mt Morrisey at sunset, 40inch LCD TV, DVD player and TV in each room. Private Hot Tub on outdoor patio, fireplace, soaker tub and heated floors to relax after a day on the slopes.

It also features a well-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, private laundry facilities, free Internet connection and underground parking space.

Kids are very welcome, we made sure there is everything they need: a baby cot with soft bedsheets and a booster seat, children videos, kitchen plasticware and covered outlets.

The condo was perfect for our family of three! The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable and the ski in/ski out location was fantastic with the new Orient chair so close. The kitchen had all the basics, except a sharp chefs knife and a garlic press. When we discovered the hot tub wasnt heating up properly, we really appreciated that the owners sent someone over right away. By the time we got back from skiing everything was fixed. Thanks for a great stay!

The location was fantastic! Ski in and ski out. The only thing that disappointing was how incredibly uncomfortable and limited the seating was. The couch was actually a futon, that the cushion would continually slide off. Other than the futon there was a small little chair. When you return home after day of skiing, you would love to relax and be comfortable and cosy. Not really possible with the seating they have now.

There is also wear and tear obvious around the unit. Doesn't take away from your stay, but with just a little TLC, it would make difference.

If replacement sofa/sectional was purchased, I would highly recommend this unit again.

The apartment is lovely and very convenient for ski in and ski out. The cooking pots were fabulous but some sharper knives would be great. The storage for skis and boots is not really adequate - some racks would be better.

The directions to the resort and instructions for use once there were excellent. The beds and linens were comfortable and everything we needed was available.

The location was not convenient to ski in/ski out as advertised. While surface cleaning had been done, the unit really needed a spring cleaning to include blinds, tops of shelves, etc. A note was left that certain dishes could not be put in the dishwasher, so we washed our dishes every day..not quite what I had expected. Very spacious..there were only two of us but could easily have handled six!

Lovely stay at Stone's Throw

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Our only negative comment is that the BBQ was not very efficient, it burned the food faster than cooking it, which was very hard to work with, when we planned our meals around cooking on the BBQ. Also, the dishes were quite miss matched, not a huge issue, but it's nice to serve a meal all on the same plates. This comes from a chef's point of view. :o)

Most units in this price range did not offer 2 queen beds. This was a nice feature, as a good nights sleep is an important part of a great weekend. Otherwise, the unit was very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our time very much, thanks!

What a great place. We are planning to return either in the winter again or the summer for mountain biking. There was a lot of kitchen essentials already stocked like olive oil, spices , paper towels, etc. There were more towels then you would need. The view was wonderful. The hot tub a relaxing end to the day.

Yannick was very responsive to every email I sent before going and while I was there. The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch. We went during the first week of Vancouver Spring break and much to our surprise there were very few people here. No lines on the lifts! The nordic skiing was across the street as was the snow showing.

What a great location. Thank-you. We plan to return!

Unit 4* owned by Karin and Yannick was perfect for our 4 days of skiing at Sun Peaks. Very close to the Morrisey chair, across from Nordic trails which we wanted. The unit had more than enough room for two and had a second bedroom and futon for additional guests if need be. The private hot tub off the master worked wonders on sore muscles. The kitchen had everything we needed and the barbecue worked well too! Great spot for a ski holiday!

Condo not looked after.

I have just stayed in this condo for 12 nights, being my 3rd visit to Sun Peaks. I would not stay in this condo again. It is a nice place but it is not maintained or serviced well. On arrival the condo smelt very poor, as though a whole bottle of air freshener had been used. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms were not working, there was a very pungent mould smell. The fireplace was not working, numerous lights were not working, 2 of the television sets didn't work, there were wet towels in the washing machine and drier. The kitchen bench surfaces were not clean. The coffee pot had burnt coffee remains in it. Many of the window shutters couldn't be operated. One of the lounge chairs broke apart the first time I sat on it. The toilet bubbled away the whole time which was quite noisy. My whole family were disappointed in the extreme to think they were staying here for nearly 2 weeks. I contacted Yannick immediately. He was most apologetic and helpful in getting prompt action. By the end of our stay the fireplace was fixed, there was a new television, the exhaust fans were working and I had fixed the chair. Having spend a deal of my own time talking to the fireplace shop, cable service providers etc, the place felt like home. Unsolicited, Yannick offered me a discount on the accommodation. On a plus side, the kitchen was well stocked, with lots of supplies of herbs, spices, oil, sugar, coffee etc. There were ample crockery, pots and pans and cooking utensils. The beds were comfy, and despite a few rowdy neighbours upstairs, the place was quiet. The spa was private and perfect for a family of 5. So overall, despite the fact that we thoroughly enjoyed our Sun Peaks stay, I wouldn't stay here again as there are better properties to recommend in the Sun Peaks village.

Good complex, this unit had a few issues, that would hopefully be fixed by now. Broken chair, not enough bedding, broken coffee pot. Otherwise nice enough for a family stay. Ski-in/out good for the teenagers.

As you enter Sun Peaks Resort, remain on Sun Peaks Road, which turns into Creekside Way. When you reach Village Way, turn right, this will take you to Valley Drive. As you cross the bridge over the "ski underpass" we are on the left. (Stone's Throw is after Trapper's Landing and McGillivray Creek and before Woodhaven)
