Welcome to our BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED ski condo at Sun Peaks. It is a bright, ground floor unit perfect for a great ski or summer getaway.
The condo is close to the Village approximately 10 minute walk, without the noise and bustle. We have made an effort to provide everything a vacationing family or couple would need to enjoy their stay.

Garbage Removal Unfortunately there is no garbage dumpster in the Crystal Forest complex. If you want to drop off your own garbage/recycling during your stay, there are dumpsters located just past the base of the Burfield Lift, as you exit the resort. More details about garbage handling are in the binder in the condo. On the day you leave, please leave garbage and recycling in the black and clear/blue bags supplied, inside condo foyer. |

Ski & Bike Storage Skis and sporting equipment can be stored in the locker across from the front door. We have just arrived home from a week at Sun Peaks staying in Peter and Phillipaâ??s condo and honestly, we didnâ??t want to leave! The 2 bedroom condo has everything you need and the kitchen is well equipped for your stay on the mountain. We didnâ??t quite understand the allure of the hot tub but after a full day of skiing and trying it out, we are now converts! What a perfect way to relax your muscles after a long day of skiing. The beds were extremely comfortable and the gas fire in the living room was so lovely and warm each evening. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer and actually I would pack less next time, as being able to wash mid week makes life much easier when travelling, as we also went onto Vancouver after our snow week.
Peter and Phillipa were amazing hosts, super friendly, incredibly helpful and their communication was second to none. They want you to enjoy their condo and will provide you tips on shuttles, where to grocery shop ( Safeway Kamloops) and even kindly contacted us to let us know about the Wine and Dine festival that was on the week we were there. We bought tickets to the Fizz and Fries, which was delicious as we tasted local Okanagan wines.
This was our first time in Sun Peaks and the snow was just incredible! They had an amazing season of snow with a 2.3 metre base and it just kept snowing whilst we were there. The powder days were beyond our expectations and there was literally no one on the mountain. I think we queued maximum for 2-3 mins twice. The long runs and ability to ski both Mt Tod, Mt Sundance, Mt Orient and Mt Morrissey, means you have a huge area to ski. We got the shuttle most days as we had kids in ski school. The shuttle takes about 5 mins. The other days we walked/skied to the main area. You could also do the same going to Orient chair and Morrissey chair. We canâ??t wait to come back to ski Sun Peaks again and stay here at Peter and Phillipaâ??s home away from home. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 4.
The unit was a great place for our family of 4 to stay, close to the ski-lifts and village.
The owners had pretty much thought of everything that guests would appreciate or find they might need during their stay. Communication with the owner was second to none and we had no complaints or concerns whatsoever. The only suggestion I have is for a Keurig style coffee machine as making a pot of of coffee for just 1 person is a task, whereas a K-cup coffee maker can be utilized for all types of drinks, i.e. coffee, tea, hot chocolate or whatever guests decide to bring with them (and for those with an environmentally friendly mindset, yes, my family uses recyclable/compostable K-cup's). I recommend this unit.

Our Australian family of four, two adults and two children (13y and 11y), enjoyed the most amazing ski holiday in the Coxon's Crystal Forest condo at Sun Peaks Resort.
Our positive experience started right from the point we began our search for a condo to suit our family. Peter and Philippa were so very responsive to all our questions and went out of their way to provide timely responses as we went through the booking process. After our initial engagement with the owners about the availability of the property for proposed stay, I had to seek approval from my employer for my leave. Peter and Philippa kindly reserved the property in our name until such time as I could get the required approvals. Our communication with Peter and Philippa in the lead up to our stay was excellent. We had a number of questions about the property's bedding configuration, appliances etc and they were very obliging in providing prompt responses. They provided photos of the freezer and other areas of the property which allowed us to do things like plan our grocery shopping.
The property itself was great for our family. The two bedrooms are well appointed and there is plenty of space for a family of four to spread out in the condo's living areas. The two ensuites are also very handy at the end of the day when everyone is looking to shower and get to bed. One aspect our family really enjoyed was the hot tub, great to spend time to help the ego after a big day on the slopes! The property is a short walk to the Orient chair lift which we found we used most days and was very manageable for all members of the family with all their ski gear. The walk into the village is pleasant, with a number of route options depending on how you are feeling.
Overall, we had the most amazing time in the condo and it was certainly enhanced by the exceptional communication we experienced with Peter and Philippa. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone.

We spent a week snowboarding over Christmas, the condo was really cosy and decorated for Christmas, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, to cook anything we planned. We went in the hot tub every night which was nice and private and very new and clean. The condo is well situated, a short walk to the village and it is easy to access both ski hills via the Morrisey lift and the new Orient lift which opened Christmas Eve. Couldn't of asked for a better Christmas away from home.
We hope to be back to snowboard next year and would love to visit in the summer weather after perusing the information in the condo regarding things to do in the summer. Thank you, Peter and Philippa

Lovely property, well laid out and extremely comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, utensils, pots and pans. Had a couple of issues with the hot tub, which were dealt with immediately and with excellent customer service. My one negative comment, which is directed to the complex and not the condo is the disposal of recyclable waste. In my opinion, I believe it is counter productive to place in plastic bags glass bottles and cans. I understand it is a fund raising venture for a local club, but a more efficient separation method, without the need for plastic bags could be easily adopted. That been said, I would highly recommend this condo and look forward to renting this property on my next visit to Sun Peaks. Yours sincerely

This was our first time to Sun Peaks and it exceeded our expectations! Laid back, quiet and beautiful. We were so sad to leave. The village staff were friendly and welcoming. The guys at Elevation bike shop and Fall line repair were amazing. They treated our boys so nice and were quick with the bike repairs when needed. We also unfortunately needed to use the services of a medic in the village and we found him to be kind and helpful.
My only recommendation to any first time visitors... Bring all your groceries and alcohol. We ate out a few times while we were there and found the restaurants to be mediocre. I can't say they were bad, but they weren't great. The bluebird market has the necessities but is very limited and quite expensive. The liquor store was alright, but small and again limited. The kitchen in the unit had everything you needed to prepare meals, including basic spices and cleaning products. There was no oil, flour, baking soda etc so make sure you bring any that you may require.
There were so many wonderful things about Sun Peaks. This was a fantastic family vacation and we can't wait to return! Thank you Peter and Phillipa for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It is close to the village and has everything you need! We also enjoyed the great selection of family movies and board games. The beds all had top quality sheets and covers and were comfortable for all 5 of us in our family.
We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back again in the future.

This property is wonderful, it has 2 en-suite bedrooms and the King size bed is lush. I got to enjoy it more than I expected I was ill. The Hot tub was great and we got to watch the sun rise from its warmth on several mornings. The Kitchen had everything you could ask for and more.
This property was lovely and warm, thanks to underfloor heating and very clean and well kept. Our hosts were lovely too and most helpful, they always answered our queries quickly and helped us with local information.
The local area is great and there are perfect walks into the village that keep you off road, not far from the ice rink either. If you have not been to Sun Peaks before you really shpould it is awesome and dont forget to try and catch the Blazers Hockey team down in Kamloops.
I highly recommend this property and the super Coxon family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-equipped,centrally located accommodation. I could honestly not suggest any improvements to this property as it has everything we could wish for and more; extra linen, cooking utensils and appliances, movies, board games and toboggans.
It provided our family the perfect Xmas holiday and I would highly recommend this accommodation.
The owners were fantastic at communicating with us and went the extra mile to make our stay perfect, even placing a gift under the Xmas tree for us. Thank you so much!
