Woodhaven Family Cabin

This place was outstanding! Beautiful amenities, games for kids, lovely hot tub and lots of dishes and appliances for cooking. Warm cozy fireplace and steps from ski resort. They had snowshoes and tobaggans for kids - we had an amazing trip highly recommend this place.

We love this place a great family vacation in a warm, well decorated, uber comfortable townhome in East Village Sun Peaks. Lots of space for Nana, Papa, Dada,Mama and the grandkids. Great beds, well equipped kitchen and ample dining table for our post ski feasts. We are definitely returning!

What a fabulous stay at Woodhaven 37. We are 2 families of 4, and the layout, space was just just perfect. The house as described in the brief was a little way from town, but it was perfectly located on the very prompt resort shuttle route, and a comfortable walk to town, especially through the picturesque valley trail. We walked it many times. The kitchen was well equiped, as was the bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again. Linda

Woodhaven Family Cabin worked so well for our family on our recent stay. Great location for both downhill and nordic skiing. Property was well set up with everything you would need in the kitchen and enough space for everyone. Beds were comfy and the underfloor heating was an added bonus. Host was easy to communicate with and provided us with information that helped our stay. It is definitely a property we would recommend and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Great unit, very well equipped kitchen, lots of spices and cooking essentials. Would definitely rent this again. Wonderful sun exposure on the deck. Good ski in/out even though its at the Far East end of the village.

Great place for an extended family.

This was our third stay in this unit and as always it was a very pleasant experience.

Had a great family skiing holiday at Woodhaven. The property was exactly as described in the ad. In particular we appreciated that there were 3 queen sized beds as we were a family of 6 with 3 adult couples. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with spices etc. so you don't have to worry about bringing everything. Really appreciated the coffee maker and that they left us coffee. Also appreciated the games - we learned a new game in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets cozy. Only negative was that the pillows were huge and very uncomfortable. Although the property was great we were disappointed that the skating rink was not opened as we have been coming to SunPeaks for many years and always appreciated skating in the evenings.

We stayed with another family for a week of skiing in 2019. Woodhaven is in the upper part of the valley but provides easy ski-in ski-out. We didn't drive the car all week.

The place is well set up for two families and is very comfortable for relaxing and sharing time with friends. The condo is surrounded by trees with a good view of Mt. Morrissey where you can watch the groomer work at night. Hot tub is easily accessed in the basement and the host provies many hot tub towels in addition to bath towels. This place has it all.

Beautiful home lots of room to spread out. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of spices, foil, baggies, plastic wrap, ect. Short walk to the lift, easy to ski right back to home.

Very nice unit , clean and well equipt. Nice having the personal attached garage so close. no carrying skis or groceries too far at all. Boot dryer is a very nice touch.

Wonderful home, thank you De Marchi family! Our family has been coming to Sun Peaks in February for the past 5 years. This is by far the best townhome and neighborhood that we have stayed in.

The home is comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen is better stocked than my own. Kudos to the house cleaners -- I can't believe how impeccably clean it was! And so many thoughtful touches -- I hate renting homes that lack simple basics like dishwashing soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, salt & pepper..... No worries here -- this home has everything you will need to feel right at home the moment you walk in.

We stayed for 5 nights in mid February. This is a beautiful property that is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Everything is of high quality and we especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with dishes/cooking equipment/spices/condiments and even coffee.

We were a group of 2 families with older teenagers and young adult children. There was plenty of space for everyone and the accommodation was very comfortable. The townhome is located in a very quiet area of Sun Peaks which has easy ski in/ski out. The village is about a 15-20 minute walk. We would stay here again.

Stay there with lots of good moment, will come back again.

Excellent property and location. Clean and as advertised. My second time here and would definitely rent again. Perfect for families or small group of friends.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The owner was responsive and very accommodating, and the house was welcoming and was well-stocked with everything we needed.

We have been part of a large group coming up to Sun Peaks annually for many years. (It is such a great family mountain.) We had a fantastic time!!! It was so nice to stay in this beautiful unit that was fully stocked!!!! ( Spices, condiments, paper towels,cleaning supplies etc.) It was something we truly appreciated. There was lots of room for kids and adults to relax or hang out together. Rooms and beds are comfortable. We give this unit 2 thumbs up!

I like how the kitchen was well stocked better then my own . Hot tube was very well maintained. Very nice home great location. We were able to park in the garage with no problems. A simply stunning property in every respect. We'd been to Sun Peaks before, and even stayed in another property in Woodhaven, so we knew that the town, the ski resort, the location (quiet but easy access by car and ski) and the size of the property would all be 5*.

The fit out of this particularly unit is exceptional though. We stayed with another family so there were 7 of us in total, 4 adults and 3 children and we were spoilt for our own space and ability to spend great time together (hot tub, kitchen, lounge) but also find corners for ourselves individually when we just wanted to pick up a book. We'd flown from the UK so we were all waking up at very odd times - that space thing was invaluable. We've stayed in rentals for many years in the U.S., Canada and Europe - undoubtedly this is amongst the very top of the list.

The only (constructive) note is it felt like the unit may not have been used for a while so whilst the bathrooms and floors were spotless, we had to do a little dusting before putting clothes on shelves in wardrobes... And some clearing out of the fridge of products left by previous renters just to make room for our Kamloops supermarket shop (always a fine line between this being a nice gesture as opposed to being a little unsightly/inconvenient). This was more than made up for by the generosity of supply of such things as dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc.

It is highly likely we will be personally returning and we absolutely would wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you Ed.

This was the third time we stay in a Woodhaven townhome and first in this three bedroom unit (#3*). It's on highest quality and provides all you need to have a nice, good rest and wonderful ski vacation time. Perfect location for ski in/out - short 1-2 min walk/ski to the Morrisey Express chairlift and if on the way back you use the East Village Ski Way you will ski down to the front door.
