Great Family Holiday at Woodhaven SunPeaks

Had a great family skiing holiday at Woodhaven. The property was exactly as described in the ad. In particular we appreciated that there were 3 queen sized beds as we were a family of 6 with 3 adult couples. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with spices etc. so you don't have to worry about bringing everything. Really appreciated the coffee maker and that they left us coffee. Also appreciated the games - we learned a new game in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets cozy. Only negative was that the pillows were huge and very uncomfortable. Although the property was great we were disappointed that the skating rink was not opened as we have been coming to SunPeaks for many years and always appreciated skating in the evenings.

Great Ski In Ski Out in Woodhaven

We stayed with another family for a week of skiing in 2019. Woodhaven is in the upper part of the valley but provides easy ski-in ski-out. We didn't drive the car all week.

The place is well set up for two families and is very comfortable for relaxing and sharing time with friends. The condo is surrounded by trees with a good view of Mt. Morrissey where you can watch the groomer work at night. Hot tub is easily accessed in the basement and the host provies many hot tub towels in addition to bath towels. This place has it all.

Great ski week in Sun Peaks!

Wonderful home, thank you De Marchi family! Our family has been coming to Sun Peaks in February for the past 5 years. This is by far the best townhome and neighborhood that we have stayed in.

The home is comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen is better stocked than my own. Kudos to the house cleaners -- I can't believe how impeccably clean it was! And so many thoughtful touches -- I hate renting homes that lack simple basics like dishwashing soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, salt & pepper..... No worries here -- this home has everything you will need to feel right at home the moment you walk in.

Thank you for making this our best trip to Sun Peaks yet!

Lovely Townhome

We stayed for 5 nights in mid February. This is a beautiful property that is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Everything is of high quality and we especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with dishes/cooking equipment/spices/condiments and even coffee.

We were a group of 2 families with older teenagers and young adult children. There was plenty of space for everyone and the accommodation was very comfortable. The townhome is located in a very quiet area of Sun Peaks which has easy ski in/ski out. The village is about a 15-20 minute walk. We would stay here again.

We have been part of a large group coming up to Sun Peaks annually for many years. (It is such a great family mountain.) We had a fantastic time!!! It was so nice to stay in this beautiful unit that was fully stocked!!!! ( Spices, condiments, paper towels,cleaning supplies etc.) It was something we truly appreciated. There was lots of room for kids and adults to relax or hang out together. Rooms and beds are comfortable. We give this unit 2 thumbs up!

Stunning Property, Superb Amenities

A simply stunning property in every respect. We'd been to Sun Peaks before, and even stayed in another property in Woodhaven, so we knew that the town, the ski resort, the location (quiet but easy access by car and ski) and the size of the property would all be 5*.

The fit out of this particularly unit is exceptional though. We stayed with another family so there were 7 of us in total, 4 adults and 3 children and we were spoilt for our own space and ability to spend great time together (hot tub, kitchen, lounge) but also find corners for ourselves individually when we just wanted to pick up a book. We'd flown from the UK so we were all waking up at very odd times - that space thing was invaluable. We've stayed in rentals for many years in the U.S., Canada and Europe - undoubtedly this is amongst the very top of the list.

The only (constructive) note is it felt like the unit may not have been used for a while so whilst the bathrooms and floors were spotless, we had to do a little dusting before putting clothes on shelves in wardrobes... And some clearing out of the fridge of products left by previous renters just to make room for our Kamloops supermarket shop (always a fine line between this being a nice gesture as opposed to being a little unsightly/inconvenient). This was more than made up for by the generosity of supply of such things as dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc.

It is highly likely we will be personally returning and we absolutely would wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you Ed.

This was the third time we stay in a Woodhaven townhome and first in this three bedroom unit (#3*). It's on highest quality and provides all you need to have a nice, good rest and wonderful ski vacation time. Perfect location for ski in/out - short 1-2 min walk/ski to the Morrisey Express chairlift and if on the way back you use the East Village Ski Way you will ski down to the front door. Worry free and easy payment process via directvacations.com and accurate and prompt communication with the owners DeMarchi family. We recommend this home to anyone looking for nice Sun Peaks vacation time.
