Family winter stay

I rented this unit for my son and family (2 small children). It was great. Well located, easy access to pool and parking . Had everything that was needed for a family of 4, including games for the kids. Easy access to shopping and to the village.

The only two things needing attention are the shower needs a good scrub. Also the top of the fridge had not been dusted on a long time. Note my son is 5 feet 5 inches so could see the top easily!

Overall a very nice unit and would recommend it to anyone.

North Star is conveniently located across the street from Marketplace in Whistler Village. Close to restaurants and shops, yet a short distance from the Village Stroll (2 minute walk) allows this location to be quiet and private compared to other units located right in the Village centre. Free shuttle service directly across the street from the complex delivers you right to the base of Blackcomb and Whistler ski slopes in a matter of minutes. For summer leisure activities the Valley Trail is only a two minute walk from the complex, turn left when you leave the complex, walk down to the intersection, cross the street and your there! The Valley Trail allows you to explore Whistlers great mountain scenery and wilderness; providing access to Whistler's many hiking and biking trails throughout the Whistler Valley. The Valley Trail to your right leads you to Lost Lake (about a 20 minute walk) and beyond or stop along the way for a round of golf at the Chateau Whistler Golf Club. If we find that you are in violation of any these policies prior to your arrival date, we will cancel your reservation, without a refund. Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, except if booking can be replaced. Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked & rebooked rate; refunds will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals Are not a problem as you will be provided with the pass code.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check in instructions will be emailed to guests prior to arrival.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Guest Stay Policies

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests will be charged if they leave the unit excessively dirty. Cleaning fee is $45 per hour
Excessive Noise Guests will be evicted for excessive Noise.
Garbage Removal Gabage & Recycling bins are located on the parking level next to the road entrance. Please recycle paper, plastic & glass.
Housekeeping For guests stays longer than 7 days, weekly cleaning is provided. If you do no wish you unit cleaned please contact Mountain Hideaways
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Locking Door Pass code will be provided to you three days prior to arrival.

Noise Restrictions It is a building by-law that noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:30 p.m. Guests will be evicted for violation of this by-law
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning

Reservation Guarantee Property Sale/Damage-We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products

Special Features

Unit is located close to the loading zone, only about a 10 second walk so it is easy to transfer skis etc to the unit which is convenient after a long drive. Also makes packing up easy. Free in unit high speed internet and BBQ on the private deck with mountain views.
