Great location and amenities! The unit was very cozy and clean. The neighborhood is fairly private, there are a few neighbors around but once inside the unit it is very peaceful. Nice views from both decks! Thanks for an amazing week! We hope to come back soon.

Fabulous place to stay! Damian was an amazing host prior to arrival! The unit does not disappoint! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, loads of towels, toiletries etc. Great location close to Creek side and trails. We did not ski but the ski out is very close to the unit. I would highly recommend this vacation rental.

The chalet was perfect for our family. At times we had 7 people staying comfortably in this large 2 bedroom top floor home. We used both of the decks, one that has an excellent bbq and outdoor, covered seating the other having a clean, well maintained hot tub. We used the kitchen for many of our meals and it was very well stocked with not only the usual necessities but items like cooking oil, some herbs and spices, sugar and a great espresso maker along with a drip coffee maker (with filters). The large refrigerator, dishwasher and oven made cooking and preparing meals for 7 people enjoyable.
The layout is open with the kitchen looking over into the dining room and living room. Great peak through views from all of these areas. (Hot tub has a nice view of the high alpine on the west side of Alta lake) The dining room has plenty of seating with extra chairs available in the closets.
The living room is spacious with the fireplace being the main draw. Even though it was summer, there was firewood and kindling to easily start fires in the large stone fireplace. We ended up having 3 fires in the fireplace during our week. In the winter, I could see lighting a fire as soon as you got back from skiing and keeping it going the rest of the night. There is firewood in many places, out on the deck, on the landing outside the front door and in the carport so you won't run out! The firewood is dry, making it easy to light and it burns great. It is complimentary, provided by the owner.
The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and comfortable as well. Lots of storage in the closets and chest of drawerswith a washer and dryer that is always nice to have available. The jetted tub in the master ensuite was clean, large and worked well. Again, like the kitchen, the bathrooms were well stocked soap for the tub and the sink, shampoo and conditioner and plenty of towels and toilet paper. Even shaving cream! Did not run out of hot water, even with 7 people!
Three of the teenage children shared the second bedroom and were very comfortable in the queen sized bottom bunk and single top bunk. The other two children(also teenagers) used the pullout queen sofa bed which they were very comfortable on. (They weren't too thrilled with me making coffee at 8 in the morning though) Games to play, cds to listen to and movies to watch along with TV. The internet was excellent with everyone using their devices with no issue (5 teenagers=many devices and much bandwith demand, not to mention the parents!)
Forgot to mention earlier, plenty of propane for the Weber BBQ on the deck. We brought our little Norwich terrier with us and she was right at home from the start. We biked all around, as the Valley trail connects Nordic estates (THE area where the chalet is located in) with many of the lakes nearby. Alta is a large lake 5 minutes ride from the chalet (going downhill). It has dog friendly parks like Lakeside and Rainbow. The parks are great for days at the beach with large grassy areas, swimming, sand volley ball courts with nets. Lost lake is also biking distance also on the Valley trail and is northeast slightly of Whistler village with a beautiful large grassy area, docks to swim to. Nit lake has a rope swing, Alpha lake (another lake just south of Alta lake) also has the excellent, what I call, Whistler beach which is the large, green grass sunning area with a small sandy beach leading into the water. We spent part or all of our 7 days at one of these spots. Swimming, paddle boarding or rubber boat boating could all be done at the beaches. At the end of some of the days, the kids would bike into the village for ice cream, a midnight swim or both. I would pick them up as it was a challenging ride back up the hill although our 14 year old managed it 3 times! (I got halfway but walking the bike is exercise too) We played golf and lots of tennis with 8 great public courts within a 5 or 10 minute drive.
Finally, (I know it is a bit of a long post with too many (but we forgot to write in the guest book:), the manager, Damian and the owner Jimi were excellent to work with providing us with a reliable payment and agreement process. They answered all our questions by email or text quickly and thoroughly. We will be going back in the near future, I hope, to Clarke's Whistler Highcamp (great name!) We would be happy to communicate with you directly, just reach out to Damian and we will authorize him to give you our email address.

This home was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The owners were easily and quickly accessible by phone or email. We had a great stay and the weather was great for our mid-March family ski trip. The hot tub and fireplace were added bonuses for our stay. The beds were unbelievably comfortable.
The only minor complaint was that you had to do some walking to get to the ski in/out trails (it is not directly on the slopes). In addition, these ski trails were narrow and steep and not for the beginner/novice.

Everything was as described. It was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Everything we needed...full kitchen, hot tub, fireplace with plenty of wood, and laundry. The garage was a nice bonus considering we had a lot of snow on a couple of days. It was nice to go to your car and not have to dig it out before leaving!
Our stay was very comfortable, and we felt it was much better than one of the resort hotels. The ski-out out at the end of street is difficult for beginners, but further up (about 1/2 mile) we found a ski-out that was perfect for everyone. The ski-in comes back just steps from the home. Everyone was able to ski-out each day and be down the mountain in time for the lifts to open. The ski-in/ski-out was a super nice alternative to hauling equipment, finding parking, and getting in lines with everyone else. In addition, we rented from Black Tie Ski Rentals, and they brought everything to the home the night before and fitted us right there in the living room.
A wonderful visit! We hope to do it again next year.

What a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations and had the exact vibe and atmosphere we were looking for my family's first trip to Whistler-Blackcomb. Plenty of space for the four of us and we loved the larger/open kitchen so we could swap snow stories while cooking our meals, fireplace raging in the background. And although a community-access hot tub would have got us by, knowing we had our own private hot tub on the deck made those long hours on the slopes, with our muscles screaming, just a little less painful.
And like most real estate, it is all about location location location. Just minutes away to the Creekside Village shopping area, with the grocery store and several restaurants, we loved how central to everything we felt.
Our experience, and this property, was so enjoyable that we are already planning another trip in early 2019, but this time for a longer stay to fully enjoy everything this property and the area has to offer.

"Highcamp" is a great winter/ski cabin. A short ski-in to the Whistler Creekside gondola and a great ski-home that is even shorter. Very well-decorated, we especially liked the antique ski and sporting decor. The heated floors throughout, with the well-stocked firewood and fireplace were all well used during our stay, keeping us very cozy and warm, even though the outside temps were colder than normal. Beds are comfy, and kitchen is well-stocked with all the things needed to enjoy cooking/dining at home. Whistler-Blackcomb has some of the best ski/boarding terrain in the world, and we definitely would consider another stay at "Highcamp".

Note, that if you have a long SUV (Suburban, Escalade ESV, etc.) it won't fit in the attached garage, but a smaller SUV might fit. However right in front of this townhome there is a small parking lot for 4-5 cars and even if it's all occupied, your car can be parked in front of the garage. This townhome is in 10 minutes walk uphill (and it's pretty steep - I found it challenging despite I'm in an excellent shape) and the path to the slope goes thru another residential area (there may be other paths - I didn't check them all). The slope is technically a black/diamond because it's pretty steep, but there are no obstacles there, so it's safe to fall. The slope leads to the Creekside gondola where you can buy tickets, a starbucks and so on. Getting back is easier: you walk thru that residential area for 3-5 mins and then sled downhill to the townhome (I'm sure sledding on a public road is not allowed, but there are hardly any cars there, so it's pretty safe). As for noise level: it's a very quiet area.

We had a great time in Whistler. Spring break time of year is unpredictable in Whistler and we had one of the worst days of skiing (raining almost to the top of the Glacier chair) followed by one of the best days: lots of fresh powder and sunshine! The condo was clean and in decent condition.
The kitchen was very well supplied and I was soooo thankful to have an in-suite washer and dryer since we came home on that one day absolutely soaking wet! The hot tub was a big hit as well. Next time I might bring a few board games from home for the rainier "non-ski" days. All in all, a great holiday. We would definitely stay again at this condo.

A group from work decided on an impromptu weekend in Whistler. Eventhough I was looking so last minute my requests were accommodated and responded to quickly. I was even allowed to bring my dog who had a fabulous time (although he was jealous that he didn't get to join us in the new spa hot tub). We'll be back for sure.
The only thing that would have made it even better would have been being closer to the Village, as well as being able to book a single night.

Our family had such a wonderful time at this property. The layout of the home is perfect for a family and the large living room is great for hanging out, watching movies, etc. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub. The espresso machine in the kitchen was very much appreciated by the adults.
The location is lovely---close to Creekside (easy walk down the slopes in summer) and a nice bike ride from the village. Friendly neighbors told us how to get to some gorgeous trails near the house and we had a wonderful time exploring the hills and finding our way to the Olympic rings.
As it was summer, we brought our bikes and loved riding the extensive trail system (road bikes). Highcamp is located quite a ways up a pretty steep road, so we drove down to the bottom, parked our car and biked from there. That steep hill is a plus--the views from the area surrounding HIghcamp are spectacular and we made a habit of taking an evening walk onto the grassy slopes to watch the sun set over the mountains. While we were there (early august) they started running the Creekside gondola, so now you can access the entire mountain in the summer without having to drive to the village.

We had a great stay here (party of five). The place is very quiet and has a great view and relaxing feel -- exactly what we wanted as a base of operations for our extended mountain biking adventures. The TV looks nice but we never even turned it on. The hot tub was great to restore sore muscles after hard days on the fantastic trail network in the area and nearby Squamish. We cooked several meals in the kitchen. The high quality espresso machine was a bonus. Garage was a great place for secure storage of our pile of bikes. Oddly enough we chose the place in part because it had a pool, but we were too busy to use the pool (went swimming in Lost Lake instead). A few times we drove to begin rides and a few times we simply started from the house, which is fine if you are fit but it is a ways up hill if you are less fit. If I were looking for something to criticize I would say it is a bit away from the Whistler Village action -- a few miles on the bike paths or roads, so if you want a place to walk everywhere this may not be it. But it was perfect for us. The owner was responsive and helpful and set us up with everything we needed (including extending our stay because the next few days were open). Everything was clean and the master bed is VERY comfortable. I hope we can come back to Whistler soon (it was a long way for us; we are from California), and when we do we will hope to stay here again.
