Property Description

As you enter our ground level property, you'll appreciate the expansive entrance area where outerwear, skis, bikes, and other recreational equipment can be stored away from the living area. This newly-remodeled unit provides warmth and character through the use of stone flooring, rock fireplace, cherry wood, stone tiling in the bathroom and kitchen areas, radiated floors and updated appliances. The kitchen, living room and dining room areas are visible from each other to help engage people and provide inclusion in all activities. The two bedrooms are on either side of the kitchen area for extra privacy, and there is a shared bathroom at the end of the hall. Washer and dryer facilities are closeted in the hallway and there are generous closets in each bedroom. The layout provides easy access to each separate space while allowing privacy and seclusion.

Our living room has lovely view of mountains and extends onto a private outside patio. Beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace creates warmth and comfort. Hand-crafted cabinetry holds TV, VCR, DVD, and bookshelves for your entertainment. Comfortable sofa and chairs make this a great gathering place.

Dining Area

The dining room can be an extension of either the kitchen or the living room, depending on how you like to live. A charming table and chairs provide comfortable eating for 6-8, and can be used for games or studying when mealtime is over.

Special Features

This property has recently been remodeled with high-end materials. It contains beautiful stone flooring, new appliances, new stone tiling, new cabinetry, rich wood trim, and radiant floor heating. It is cozy and warm, while still providing comfortable accommodations for six people.

We enjoyed the decor and amenities in the townhouse. Beautiful decor and art. The heated floors were great to assist in drying boots. I did find a few areas that could have been dusted more thoroughly like the bedside table lamp and a few cobwebs on light fixtures. Bed was comfortable. Bedding was great, pillows could use washable covers to protect from staining. Mattress pad on the bed could be replaced. Apparently the sofa bed was not comfortable at all and the young athlete that stayed with us put the mattress directly on the area carpet in efforts to make it more comfortable. It could have used a topper to improve comfort or a thick padded mattress cover. There were some parts and pieces of sofa bed and food crumbs lying on the mattress and underneath when we opened it up. One of the beautiful sauce pans hanging on the rack was dirty when we arrived.(likely left from a past guest) The facility was difficult to navigate in the dark upon our arrival but owner directions were very good. (we all arrived later due to road closure) The pathway from garage was snow and ice covered and also had a large puddle the first night we had to walk through on our way to and from the condo unloading our considerable amount of gear and food. This was much improved the next day partly due to colder weather partly due to maintenance. Upon arriving and right through our stay the stairwell from the garage had several bags of household garbage in it. We were always rushing to and from facility to races and to prepare meals so I did not find time to call maintenance. I assumed someone would do a walk through of facility and clean it up. The parking was convenient for both over height and regular sized vehicles thank you to Kim and John for making last minute arrangements for our coach to park the large suv. I appreciated their quick communications on a number of occasions prior to our stay. Five adults stayed in the condo. Only one face cloth but enough beautiful thick towels.

Modern, clean, quiet & comfortable - Great value

This condo presents strong value. We would not hesitate to rent it again or recommend it to others. It was very clean, comfortable and modern. The directions to the unit upon arrival may seem a bit confusing due to the setup of the complex, but if you follow them as written by the owners, you will have no issue locating the unit.

It's a bit of a distance from the base of Blackcomb & there was not enough snow on the ground for this to be a ski in/out unit when we were there. It would be nice if the kitchen had a few more supplies in it, it was bare but understandably so. Overall; highly recommended!

The place doesn't seem like it was properly cleaned after the last user. There were garbage underneath the sofa and crumbs on the carpet. The sofa bed was also very dirty, so we didn't't even bother pulling it out.

It will also be great to provide a detailed map of where the unit is located. It was like a maze in the dark.

Everything else was good aside from the cleanliness. Good location, everything seems newly renovated, the owner responded within timely manner to our needs.

We stayed here over the MLK weekend. The property is above average in terms of attractiveness: heated slate flooring through, stone wood burning fireplace, spaciousness, comfortable beds, higher quality kitchen appliances, etc. It is significantly better than the average Whistler condo unit. One drawback is the walk to the bus stop is about 50 yards, although this didn't detract from our enjoyment of the property. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The moment we walked into the condo we loved the look. The condo was cozy and clean. Location was great too. You can tell a lot of upgrades were done to the place. The only thing is a outside table and bbq would have been perfect. There was a real wood burning fireplace which was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great inside, but patio not useable!

This was the 3rd visit for my daughter and her family. They love your place, but we're dissapointed AGAIN ( I have mentioned this in my last 2 reviews ) that they could not use your patio for meals with the kids. It is dirty, full of weeds and no table to sit around. Of the 5 places in the Villas we rented for our family on this year's gathering, yours was the only one without a usable patio.

Also, your TV is not working ..... Not a big deal but they did want to catch up on the ball games and use for cartoons for the kids. if you could let me know if you can correct these issues, we would love to rent again next year.

We loved this unit but a few maintenance items: In the master bedroom, the fire sprinkler in the closet has a slow leak. Someone had put a bowl under it prior to our arrival, but my friend that had that room said it made the closet smell musty so he didn't want to put his clothes in there. Also, there were two lights out in the bathroom- over the tub and just outside the water heater closet, I found one spare that fit in the shower can. Other light is still out. On day three the light in the ski room burned out, I found a spare for that but all spares except the kitchen halogens are now used up,
