About Us

We live in Vancouver ( a 1 1/2 hr. drive to Whistler)Mike has been skiing in Whistler since the 70's(before there was a Blackcomb Mtn). We have 2 daughters who are now keeping up with dad on the slopes!. I tend to enjoy my days in the village, hot tub/pool area and biking with the family. Our favorite weekend is May long weekend. Mike and the girls ski as well as we enjoy the warm spring weather with a bike ride and a swim in the pool.Mountain biking is exellent in Whistler. There is also a fantastic bike/ skate board park within walking distance. There are many outdoor adventures to enjoy in the off ski season. A golf course is right across the street from us. As is the world famous spa at the Fairmomt ChateauWhistler. The walk to the village is a great way to get there. There are a couple of different trails you can take. The wild life in Whister is abundant. . We have a very reliable cleaning company that is also on call for any emergencies. We would be glad to answer any questions or enquiries you may have. E-mail us or give us a call.We respond personally to all enquiries. We also gladly accept any suggestions you may have that would improve your stay. We hope you enjoy our home in Whistler as much as we do Mike and Leah

For the price it can't be beaten

Yuri from Gama, Brazil
Date: Aug-22-2016 for a stay in Aug 2016

Confortable place offering everything you may need, kitchen full of utensils, 2 TVs and a patio with electric BBQ. The only downside was the slow internet, besides that we had a great stay.

1** Wildwood Lodge

Annette from Nanaimo, Canada
Date: Jul-17-2016 for a stay in Jul 2016

This is the 3rd stay for us at this particular condo and overall everything is excellent. The only disappointment this trip was that the hot tub was not available and we had some cold, wet riding and were looking forward to a hot tub and chat session with our friends who live upstairs. Hopefully if we book again next year we will be able to enjoy the hot tub.

Second time staying here and pleased again. Great value: free parking, nice hot tub, plenty of amenities, separate "powder room" (helpful with 3 girls), easy to use TV, close walk to slopes. I would likely stay here again!

Whistler Wildwood Lodge Condo

Mitchell from New Rochelle, United States
Date: Feb-22-2016 for a stay in Feb 2016

Great condo, all as promised. Pullout couch in living room was very comfortable. Easy ski-in to Blackcomb base. Ski-out required a 50 yard walk from end of path, no big deal. Owners were extremely responsive. I would definitely rent again.

Solid condo in upper village

Chloe from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Jan-02-2016 for a stay in Dec 2015

On the free bus shuttle route which makes it easy to get into the village. Building is a little outdated but the condo was clean, warm, comfortable and spacious for a 1 bedroom. Two flat screens in the condo and good kitchen. Very lovely of the owners to leave us a bottle of sparkling wine for New Years. We'd recommend this place to others.

Feels like home!

I don't travel often, and I get very nervous about going to new places. From the minute we walked in, I felt at ease. The place was clean and inviting, close to everything, and had a pool and hot tub to boot! I had a wonderful time, and will definitely come back - hopefully this location is available for me again. :-)

Thank you Mike and Leah. The place is very well furnished and we got everything as described in the property listing. We also enjoyed the walks to the Village and the pool area. We could not use the hot tub because it was out of service during the whole week of our stay. We had a wonderful time at your condo and would recommend the place to anyone.

Great stay

Philip from Maple Ridge, Canada
Date: Jun-08-2015 for a stay in Jun 2015

This was the first time we stayed at the Wildwood and it wont be the last. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The only issue we had was a mechanical issue beyond anyone's control which disabled the hot tub and heater in the pool on Friday around noon. After having to leave the building for a few hours because of an explosion in the Mechanical room, we arrived back to find a note on the pool door stating that the hot tub was out of order but nothing about the heater in the pool which made a very refreshing entrance into what we thought was a heated pool. All in all it was a great weekend.

Found our new favorite place to stay Whistler

Jodi from Bellingham, United States
Date: Feb-05-2015 for a stay in Jan 2015

My 2 girlfriends and I do an annual weekend at Whistler. We've stayed at The Aspens, Powerhorn, Marquis, and others over the years. Never at Wildwood but I would say that Unit 6** is our new favorite. Mike and Leah were super responsive to our needs (including adding an extra day and dealing with an item we accidentally left in their unit). The hot tub is under cover - great in case of rain - but still outside. Kitchen pans and spices were great. Instructions for parking and ski locker super easy. Much quieter than The Aspens. And all you have to do is walk across to the trail by The Aspens or another trail that leads directly to Blackcomb base. Thanks for a great stay!

A very nice unit to ring in the New Year

Alex from West Vancouver, Canada
Date: Jan-05-2015 for a stay in Dec 2014

A very nice unit with an excellent location that you can easily ski in/out to. We stayed over New Years and the owners kindly had left a bottle of bubbly and some chocolates to celebrate with. Our daughters found the inflatable mattress for the sofa bed much more comfortable than a standard one. We would certainly rent this unit again.

Mike & Leah's Condo at Wildwood Lodge

Annette from Nanaimo, Canada
Date: Aug-26-2014 for a stay in Aug 2014

We love this place and have stayed in it during two summer trips to Whistler. Great little patio and is close to everything that we need. As we ride the cross country trails we are only a short ride away from the Lost Lake Trail System and we didn't have too far of a drive for our other biking adventures. Comfortable bedroom, clean bathroom and lots of "stuff" in the kitchen. Close to Sunday Market and only a short walk to the Village for dinner and shopping. Will definitely try to get this spot again next summer!

Wildwood Lodge

Grant from McLean, United States
Date: Aug-11-2014 for a stay in Jul 2014

We loved the location with easy access to Blackcomb. The location within the complex was good too, having a ground floor unit. The atmosphere of Wildwood is pleasant. The owners provided some basics to make the stay more pleasant. There was tea, coffee, spices and many other kitchen additions that made life just that much easier. The kitchen was stocked well, having more than enough glasses and dishes and cooking utensils. The two fans (one ceiling in living room and one moveable for bedroom) were sufficient to cool the condo. The fold out sofa was equipped with a blow up mattress which is quite comfortable. There were no laundry facilities in the condo, though there were two washers and two dryers on the floor above. For a month rental, this was a slight annoyance but not a deal breaker. The owners were responsive to our last minute timing changes and questions regarding the condo. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and would likely consider staying again if our needs hadn't changed. We want to bring our dog next year and may need a slightly larger place.

Leah and Mike have a great place that is well stocked with all the little bits that make a place home. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Seven minute free bus ride to the village. Great storage space in the powder room (off the bathroom)for extra things like coolers or luggage. A huge mirror to put on make up or brush your hair. Boot mats to keep things clean. The hot tub is on the same floor and always had space available. It is literally 10 feet outside the door in a covered partial enclosure. Dont forget a lock or two for the storage room so you can lock your boards or skis on the main level rather than dragging them to your unit. Free parking was really nice as we had two cars for our family. We had a great stay in Feb.2014 Whistler really has a great system with the free bus (shuttle). We never worried about the kids, spare change, or time. There was always a bus waiting from the village to take you wherever you needed. Groceries (IGa) post-office, pharmacy, bakery, lots of shops and medical facility (walk-in) we felt like one of the regulars in whistler and would highly recommend a vacation there. Thanks for a great vacation.

Nice location, well appointed

Stayed there for a week end of skiing and must say the place has a good location, just a short stroll to the lifts and about a 10 to 15 minutes walk to the villages activities and restaurants. Nicely appointed and clean without being luxurious. Check-in / check-out process are seamless and done automatically. However, like most of Whistler properties, it is a little over priced for what it is; but what can you expect in a resort town.

Great condo for a couple!

What I liked was the location, just meters from the Blackcomb gondola, only had to cross the street and get the skis. The condo is small but is perfect for a couple and one guest in the living room, there's a sofa bed. The condo owner, Mike, very careful with what you could need and very thorough, let sparkling wine and chocolates. It is a practical and convenient for those who go skiing and enjoy life in the village of Blackcomb and Whistler.

Leah and Mike's condo had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Location is the best - well within walking distance of everything in the village, but far enhough away to also be peaceful and relaxing.

Quaint and Comfortable

Not exactly slope-side, I would say slope accessible, ~5 minute walk/slide via trail. Great for Skiers, not so much for Boarders. Key-less entry system made checking in a breeze. No need for keys means we can't lose them on the slopes. Heated floors in Kitchen and Bathroom were great. Fireplace was warm after 10 minutes. There was a nice coziness to the place. Access to back yard from living room and bedroom. When we arrived and settled in, we noticed there was no extra toilet paper and no extra garbage bags, but a quick e-mail to the owners had the amenities provided to us the very next day. One downside, Fridge was not cold at all. Freeze was just right as a fridge, not much else. If not for the backyard access, our food would of been spoiled. Something to be looked at. Free parking a definite plus, entry and exit very easy. Plenty of spaces in the garage.

Everything was great. The apt was clean and had all you needed. It was nice with the open terrace for the kids and of course the pool. I definently recommend this place.

My kids and I chose this condo for a quick get away before school begins again. It's in a good location and had mostly everything we needed. A few complaints: not all the pillows had pillow covers so we had to resort to putting tshirts over them, two of three remotes had dead batteries and there were no spares anywhere, the toilet ran on constantly - I even resorted to trying to fix it as it was so noisy I wore earplugs to sleep (not to mention the tremendous amount of water it was consuming), the DVD player was not working and I called mike and left a message - he didn't bother calling me back, the pool towels and extra linens that were reportedly available at the front desk are not available as these owners opted out of that service - and I'm assuming that all the other services the claim to have access to are also no longer available. Apparently -as the front desk informed me- this has been the case for two years now, so the information on their website is misleading to say the least.

Lived up to description and expectation.

The condo was a great base for a Whistler ski vacation. Ski in and out made it easy for individual members of our family to come back to the condo on our own schedules. It was really great to have some kitchen basics (spices etc) in the kitchen!

In a nice location close enough to ski to and from the hill at Blackcomb. Comfortable enough although the inflatable sofa bed didn't hold its air - should be tended too. Also, as advertised, there is not an in-unit laundry facility (there are shared washers/dryers in the lodge) . Didn't affect us but might be a consideration for others. Came with a bunch of spices (cooking oil etc) which is quite useful. Overall was good value

Ok for a cheap stay

No, this is not a ski-in ski-out. You have to carry your skies on your shoulders, not under your feet. It is impossible to park a regular SUV in the garage. The owner is not very helpful. My kids left a MacBook pro charger in the unit--it took days to get hold of the owner. By the time he got back to us after our repeated atttempts, it was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately this charger costed over $100 to replace. Will stay away from this one and the whole building. there are a lot more better choices out there.

My friend and I spent two and a half weeks in this apartment during Christmas/New Year/January 2012. The apartment is set out well and was really clean on our arrival. The location is great: ski in/ski out (depending on good snow), just minutes from grocery stores and about a 10 minute walk into Whistler village. The hot tub at the complex is a great way to end the day and meet people.

This unit is in a great location - only 5 minutes walk into all the amenities of Whistler village, but away from the hustle and bustle. Loved that it looked out onto green space. The suite was very comfortable - just the right size and all the necessities.

Nice, quiet rental.

We were in town as I had a scientific meeting that was at the Chateau. We chose this place for proximity and price. My interactions with the owners prior to arrival were fantastic. They provided all the details for getting there and settled in and were willing to answer any questions. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The place was neat and clean and exactly as described. The workers in the building were extremely nice. The room was secluded and plenty spacious for two people. There was lots of storage space and room for all of your stuff. The kitchen was nicely supplied. We would certainly consider staying there again. We loved Whistler.

This is a very comfortable, clean condo. I really appreciated the little touches like having a supply of commonly used items in the kitchen (cooking oil, spices, coffee/tea etc) It saves money & a lot of bother for a short trip. I also liked the free parking. Location was the only thing not 100%. Being on my own, I was uncomfortable with walking back to the condo after dark because the access (other than a long walk on the streets) is a little isolated although it is short. It is a fairly inexpensive taxi though. All in all, I was impressed.
