Welcome to The Aspens, Whistler's premier ski in, ski out property.
Situated right on the slopes, near the base of Blackcomb mountain, this is a top-floor, newly renovated and upgraded suite with stunning mountain views. Please see the Photos & Video link above.

After a great day on the slopes, ski back to your lodge, hand your equipment to the ski valet and take your pick from the three hot tubs. But the fun doesn't stop there...
A short stroll takes you to the heart of Whistler village with its buzzing aprés and great shopping. Or have a quiet night in with home-cooked food and a glass of good wine.
The condo has FREE wireless internet, air-conditioning for the summer months and anti-allergy bedding.

Location & Map
There really is no better place to stay in Whistler. The Aspens is right on the slopes at the base of Blackcomb, immediately above the Wizard chair. You are booking a true ski in/out vacation. Beware of properties that claim ski in/out when in reality you have to lug your equipment half a mile to find a slope. A car is entirely optional at The Aspens - you can walk or ski everywhere from here.
If you want the hustle and bustle of the village, it's a short stroll away. When you've had your fill of aprés, the Benchlands setting is noticeably quieter and more peaceful than the Town Plaza lodges (Eagle, Bear and Deer).

My family often takes short trips to Whistler as we don't live far away (Ferndale, near Bellingham) and have happily used Allura for reservations. Frankly, we are usually always pleased with the accommodations we choose. But this one far exceeded our expectations. The Aspens is a beautiful building (goodness, the hallways were beautiful!) and the room was fantastic for us. I would return to this building and this room in a heartbeat.
I don't recall what I pay, but it wasn't much more than a hotel room and this was SO MUCH nicer. I also especially like the location: just a short trail walk to the upper village (it seems and is further if you drive). We plan to return.
One more thing: we left a wall charger behind and after I contacted the owner he went out of his way, with no charge, to mail it back to us in the states.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Great stay at the Aspens! This was our second stay at the Aspens. We were happy with the unit, it was well maintained and clean. The location was quite and only a 12 minute walk to the lower Whistler Village to shops and restaurants. We loved the newly renovated shower!
The Aspens has great hot tubs & pool area! The owners were friendly and quick to respond our emails. We just live in Coquitlam so we will most definitely visit this unit at the Aspens again. Great stay!View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Jude and Rich were responsive to answer my inquires prior to making reservations for the condo. They were also responsive and easy to work with to resolve an initial suite access issue.
We enjoyed our time at Aspens 4**. The condo was nicely updated and clean. The location and view from the condo was great. We would definitely consider reserving again at the Aspens 4** for future Whistler trips.View Full Review
TOUGH MUDDER WEEKEND AT THE ASPENS
Becky from Nanaimo, Canada

We have stayed at the aspens before, so knew the building and surroundings. The condo itself was very clean and nicely updated. Loved the shower! It was nice to have some spices etc, but we did bring our own as well. Sharper knives other than bread knife would be awesome.
We didnt have any tea towls, so not sure if this was due to the cleaners forgetting to leave some. Also one of the nice white towels on heated towel rack didnt smell clean, it smelt like a wet dog, so not sure on that as a cleaning issue as well. Was a little loud being on the inside with the pool and hot tubs, but overall is a great location and nice condo.
The views would be amazing if you could trim the trees back. We really enjoyed this location and would stay here again and would reccomend others to do as well. Easy check in and check out. The underground parking was nice but expensive as well as they were repainting it down there and parking spots were hard to come by on first level.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Great ski in ski out condo on Blackcomb !
Bruno from Waterloo, Canada
Date: Mar-21-2016 for a stay in Mar 2016
I spent 6 days in the condo with 3 of my adult children. We had a great family experience. The ski in and ski out aspect could not be more convenient. We rented some equipment, so the ski shop in the lobby was very convenient too. Loved the ski valet service. The convenience of a short walk to the village was also great. We parked our rented vehicle in the underground parking for $15 a day. Might not be worth renting a car the next time. You can walk to most places you want to get to and there is a bus service to whistler from the airport.
We used the hot tub a couple of times. Was very nice, but crowded at times.
The condo was clean, and nicely decorated. It was more than we could have expected. The appliances had all been recently upgraded. Having wifi was great.
We had absolutely no complaints and had no reason to ever contact the owners. I highly recommend this condo. I will be keeping this address handy for the next time I visit Whistler!View Full Review Owner Has Responded
Great slope side condo!!
Tracy from Anchorage, United States
Date: Mar-05-2016 for a stay in Feb 2016
An excellent condo, very well equipped kitchen (even has a spice rack!, sounds trivial but makes cooking so much better). For two of us the condo was a great size with a huge comfy bed. The complex is nice and we found it to be pretty quiet which is a bonus on a ski trip. It really is slope side and the added free ski valet service is great, no carrying them upstairs!
Blackcomb is a quiet area so if you want to be right in the heart of après this is not your area however, if like us you would rather have the luxury of ski in, ski out and then an easy 15 min stroll to whistler Centre and all its bars and restaurants then this makes a great base. There is a grocery store about a 10 min walk away so if you want to eat in that is easy too.
On top of it being a great condo the owner Richard is incredibly nice to deal with, he returned emails very quickly and made the whole booking process and any further questions easy. Definitely recommend.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

My Fiance and I spent 5 nights in the condo and had a great experience. The owner's were very easy to communicate with ahead of time and the unit was exactly as described. I have been to Whistler several times and this unit was the best value/money I have found so far. Location is great with the ski-in/out, ski valet and pool/hot tubs.
The apartment was perfect for a couple, but you could fit easily 4 people if you used the pullout couch. Sometimes the 3 minute walk down the ski-hill to the village can be a bit tricky if the snow is slushy, but there is also a bus you can take instead so it isn't much of an issue.
I would certainly recommend this place, and hope to stay here again next time I return to Whistler.View Full Review

Even Better! Everything you need. Plus, Plus, Plus! NEW sleigh bed for 2016, superbly outfitted kitchen, ski concierge with a smile, 2 minutes from condo-to-ski concierge-to-ski lift! The Aspens just completed a beautiful renovation of the interior hallways with stone work around each entry; creating a luxurious welcome to a condo with everything you need and more.
The owners, Rich and Jude are so EASY to work with; responsive to any inquiry. This is our 5th winter with Rich & Jude at the Aspens. We are already planning our return visit for 2017, so, YES, I would DEFINITELY recommend this property to friends, family and anyone lucky enough to score a reservation!
Thanks a million to Rich & Jude.View Full Review
The Aspens 4**
alan from coquitlam, Canada
Date: Jan-01-2016 for a stay in Dec 2015
PROS: Owners were always available for questions through email. Great convenient location with ski in-ski out and ski valet service. Rentals available on the first floor. Loved the quiet building with concrete floors. The hot tub was a great feature after a day of skiing. TV and Wi-fi worked great. Oven, stove, microwave worked great. Dinner ware and flat ware were good quality. Counter check in staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was conveniently located underground.
CONS: The sofa bed mattress in the living room is saggy and lumpy. The linens, bed sheets and towels did not smell fresh (like it has been vacant for a while). The lower tray of the dishwasher feels like it is off its wheels (not gliding smoothly). The shower knob cannot be fully lifted so when I used the shower the tap continues to run and the shower does not get the full water diversion. But I'm sure if you contact the owners, they will respond to your enquiries expeditiously.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

A lovely place to stay in Whistler, and it was even decorated for the Christmas season. We were able to entertain 5 family guests for dinner, and had lots of roasting dishes and kitchen gadgets and utensils to make the cooking easy to do.
Our poor reading of check-in information led us to arrive too early to check-in so the entry code did not yet work--and my panicked email to the owners resulted in a quick resolution and explanation. We would return if opportunity presents!View Full Review Owner Has Responded

We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly recommend #4**. Rich and Jude were very helpful. The condo has a great set up and well equipped kitchen that you can cook all your meals in if you wanted to. It's a central location that is truly ski-in, ski-out and a few minute walk to apres ski spots and restaurants.

Everything was so perfect and made our trip so much easier and more pleasant! It all went smoothly from the start, arrived late the first night but were easily sorted out by reception and into the room in no time. A great location, everything you'd ever need for cooking in the kitchen, plenty of space to keep luggage and having a pool and hot tubs to relax in each day made it so good!
The reception were always friendly and helpful with things and Richard is always easy to get a hold of and quick to respond if anything comes up! All in all it was an incredible trip and we all really enjoyed our stay in the unit and hope to stay again in the future!View Full Review

We absolutely loved our stay in Rich and Jude's unit at the Aspens! The location is a perfect distance from the main village, making it easy to get to town to get groceries and spend time in town, but far enough out of the way to escape the noise of the village when you need to.
The unit is nice and spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking meals a breeze and there was plenty of room to keep our food. It was perfect having the hottubs to relax in after a long day on the mountain and a pool to swim in when it was too hot out!
Rich and Jude were very helpful with any questions we had and setting up payment, and also very quick to respond to emails and send out any important information! All in all it has been a perfect stay and I highly recommend the room!View Full Review Owner Has Responded
A little hidden gem!
Peter from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Jan-05-2015 for a stay in Dec 2014
It's easy to find dated properties in Whistler. For the most part, this shouldn't be a problem as you don't tend to stay inside all day long - you'll likely be exploring the outdoors & the village. But for my 8 month pregnant wife, it was important to find a cozy 'home' away from home as she was going to spend a lot of time during the day inside the unit. This rental unit was updated to modern standards and when we opened the door, we were pleasantly surprised. The unit was actually better than the way it looked in the photo's - that's a rare thing these days. The WiFi is fast and has the latest wireless standards, a modern flatscreen TV, updated appliances in the kitchen and a comfortable mattress to sleep on. Only the bathroom could use an update but that's a big and expensive job for the owners. Nothing wrong with it (well, the shower head is too low for me - I'm 6'4" and it's pointed at my chest. But I have that problem in most showers!), but it's the only part of the unit that remains somewhat dated. The small kitchen was clean and functional and has a super-quiet dishwasher. Our only gripe with the unit was that there was nowhere to store any of your groceries. The cupboards were full of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, pots & pans and a whole array of cooking utensils - more than you could ever want, but what's the point if you don't have any space, other than the fridge, to store your cereal boxes, snacks, bread, etc. We had to leave it out on the kitchen counters and that quickly made for an unsightly mess and reduced the countertop space in the kitchen considerably. In our opinion, especially since there is a dishwasher, there are too many plates & glasses in the unit and some room could be created for storing food items during the stay. Okay, that's really the only thing we could find 'wrong' with the unit, but then again, it probably would be the exact same issue in every other unit, given the space available to work with. One other important thing to note is to mention the owners: they were very responsive with a range of questions we had prior to our arrival and were very accommodating. It is super important to us to find owners who actually care about their place and their renters. The personal contact with them, knowing they cared, made the stay so much more enjoyable. Part of us wants to keep this place to our selves and not tell anyone about it but that would be a disservice to the owners who worked hard at making this place stand out from the rest. So there you have it. You'll enjoy staying at this place and hopefully as much, if not more, as we did!View Full Review Owner Has Responded

Great unit, overlooking pool and mountains, on top floor, clean, modern, great mattress, and the air-conditioning unit is a sleep saver when temperatures reached 33 deg.C.View Full Review Owner Has Responded
Excellent slope side condo!
Tracy L from Anchorage, Alaska
A very well equipped modern condo with welcome extra little touches like a stocked spice rack in the kitchen (sounds silly but very useful when self catering!) made for a great and convenient stay. Ski in, ski out and with free valet ski storage it's a skiers dream! The complex itself is nice and we found it to be very quiet too. If you want to be in the heart of buzzing après this may not be right for you however, if like us you prefer to be slope side with an easy 10-15min walk into the heart of Whistler and numerous bustling bars and restaurants then look no further. Richard, the owner was incredibly nice to deal with during the booking process and answered all my email questions quickly and was very friendly. Highly recommend.
A little hidden gem!

You'll enjoy staying at this place and hopefully as much, if not more, as we did!
Hi Peter, Thanks for taking the time to post such a comprehensive write-up. Glad you and your wife had such a great time in our apartment. We're always trying to find ways to make it more comfortable and convenient for our guests, so we'll take a look at those items you mentioned. Many thanks, Rich & Jude

Awesome place to stay. Overlooks pool and courtyard area. Super clean with modern updates. Excellent bed in master bedroom. Smaller place but super comfortable for 2 people!! Has an A/C unit in suite. Well stocked with cutlery and dishes. No problems connecting to Wi-Fi. Great staff at front desk - very helpful. Located right on edge of Upper Village.

We loved this condo, it is modern, well furnished and equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The balcony is large and has 4 chairs so you can relax overlooking the slope and pool. Even though there were people in the pool it wasn't noisy in the room as you are on the fourth floor. The building was pretty full when we stayed but it didn't feel like it, no problem getting parking, elevator, pool space etc. Staff are very friendly and owners very responsive. My son was at ski camp and it took us two minutes to Blackcomb base, a lovely stroll.

Staying at the aspens Condo on my first trip to Whislter was a very pleasent one. Everything about staying here was easy. The location to fantastic, the people working in the condo are friendly and helpful. It was a hassle free experience. The condo is very neat and tidy, it was comfortable, nothing to complain about. It suited my wife and myself completely. Has all the amenities you need if you wanted to cook up at home. Best thing about staying here was the access to the mountains, and the ease of storing equipment. When dealing with the owners, they were great and accomodated us perfectly to help us out.
minutes from condo to ski valet to chair lift!

Walking out the door of the aspens condo, picking up the skis from the valet, skiing down to the chair lift - all in minutes! Now that's convenient! The condo is comfortable and equiped with everything needed to prepare meals, snuggle-in for a night of reading by the fireplace (with good lighting!) and a comfy bed. This condo delivers on all! Third time staying & will book again next year! Thanks so much!
Excellent ski in-ski out condo.

All exactly as described. Great location on the piste in Blackcombe.
Cute Condo at Great Location!!!
Mom & Son from CA
This cozy, nicely decorated condo has everything you need to enjoy your evenings after skiing - 2 community hot tubs, a well-equipped kitchen (with grocery pre-order and delivery possible) and tv entertainment options - but the best part is the ski-in and ski-out convenience on Blackcomb mountain. Highly recommend this place. My college-age son advised that the sofa sleeper was quite comfortable.
Location, location, location

Situated on the side of base Ski run into Blackcomb, this could be the most convenient Ski-in/Ski-location you could find. The apartment is located on the top floor (4 floors) which is great as you don't have the issue of noise coming from above (as you could face in lower level apartments). As you will see from the photos the apartment overlooks the pools and side of the run. When the snow falls it covers the entire scene in a blanket of white. The apartment itself is very comfortable, warm and inviting, well equipped for an extended stay. The location is only minutes from Blackcomb for coffee, light meal or drinks or more substantial eats. It is an easy and enjoyable ~10-15 minute walk to Whistler village, which has an abundance of shopping, drinking, eating choices and two good supermarkets. But is nice to know that when you are ready to leave the noise and hustle of Whistler village, your apartment at the aspens awaits. If you don't want to walk back you can always catch the 'free' shuttle bus (#5)which stops ~100-150 metres up the road from the main entrance. But unlike other locations in the Benchlands, it is still close enough to walk if the bus is running late. Overall apsens apartment #403, is great apartment in a fantastic location, at a really good Ski resort with lots of options for the Skier and even the non or less enthusiastic Skier.

Very smart, comfortable and very well appointed apartment within an excellent ski-in/ski-out complex at the foot of Blackcomb Mountain. The apartment includes a large double bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom, and open-plan living/kitchen/dining area with home comforts and a home-from-home feel.
Excellent Ski in/Ski out condo.

All as described, neat, tidy and clean. My wife and I stayed for a week and it was perfect for us. Genuine ski in/ski out but a short walk to the centre of Whistler. Well equipped kitchen and helpful front desk staff. Clear and prompt communication from the owner. All in all, a pleasure.
Comfortable stay in well-appointed and conveniently located apar

My husband and I stayed with our two young boys at this ski-in ski-out apartment in the aspens on Blackcomb Lodge on Blackcomb Mountain for one week in December 2012 We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very comfortable and nicely maintained, and we loved that we were able to ski down to the Blackcomb base in minutes. It was also nice to be away from the hustle-bustle of the Whistler Village. The only downside of the location is that dinner options within walking distance are limited. However Milestones down the hill was great and we dined there frequently. We would definitely stay here again.

Great modern accommodation and a convenient location with shuttle service. Pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Only complaint in the summer was that the bedroom was hot. Certainly recommended!
Great accomodation, above average suite

Enjoyed a 3 day break in this unit. Very nicely furnished in a good location within complex. Aspens had a nice pool and jacuzzis. Air conditioning was very useful in 90 degree weather.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very easy to get to the gondola - and we went up the mountain almost everyday! The condo was very comfortable and we enjoyed looking at the mountains from the balcony. We had a relaxing time using the pool and hot tub in the evenings.
So pleased to hear you enjoyed yourselves in our condo. Look forward to welcoming you back to Whistler.
Would stay again.

This condo was very nice, extremely clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive when we contacted them regarding a small issue we had. I appreciated the extra supplies of linens and towels. Many thanks.
Feeling at Home in Whistler

Love the place...repeat stay and the whole family loved it. Clean with all the stuff you need for a great getaway. A nice walk into the village for a Starbucks each morning and the hottubs on the grounds make it a nice way to end a busy day. Parking always seems to be an issue with this building, but just be patient and you'll get in eventually.
A wonderful week

This is our third visit to Whistler and the third time at aspen. Your condo is the best one so far. We've enjoyed every minute of it, inside as well as outside, on the slope or in the tubs, cooking good foods or eating in restaurants. We hope to be back next year! Thank you for offering such a good quality apartment which makes us feel at home away from home.
Perfect Ski in - Ski out Vacation

Great unit, this is our second return to it and we plan on coming back again. Great ski in and ski out location, short walk to upper village and the Chateau Lounge for excellent food and drinks! A nice 5-10 minute walk to the main village as well. Always exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Superb Ski Location, best part of The aspens
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Winchester
Very smart apartment in what must be one of the best ski locations at Blackcomb. All mod-cons, smart and clean with great views from the lounge and deck. Surely is position a in The aspens for the balance of views and easy access. Ski valet downstairs makes this a great choice for a couple/small family looking for an ideal ski out/in apartment with a short walk or free shuttle to town.
Charming and well thought of details!

We spent a great week at this apartment at the aspens! Ski in and out was a determining factor when deciding on what condo to rent! Decor and ammenities available in the apartment made us chose this unit! They have a very well equiped kitchen, a variety of dvds , cds, we console! The decor is great, including regional sculptures! The only but for me, being on the last part of 3 week vacation was the lack of storage room for my 6 pieces of luggage, which ended up in the varanda!
The best Quality with Comfort where Every detail is attended to!
VB_BayArea_CA from CA
We've stayed at the aspens for the past 10 years and find the location to be the best! The aspens is truly Whistler's premier ski in/out property. But, more than that, your condo is by far the best unit we've rented. The well equipped kitchen and quality furnishings add so much to the ski experience. We found that we did not have to improvise on anything; the kitchen had everything we needed to live comfortably for 11 nights, including a quality coffee maker (not always the case) and a comfortable king-size bed with luxe bedding. The upgraded living room furniture, the wireless internet service, the wall-mounted flat screen TV, the granite counter top in the kitchen, the sweet dining table with stools - it all matters! Typically, within 5 minutes or so, we would walk out the door of the condo, pick up our skis at the valet & ski to the Wizard chair. We would love to book with you again in the future; we've been skiing WhistlerBlackcomb for 20 years - predating the village! Only one complaint: the garbage room is worse than wadding into a dump. The smell is unbearable and should be addressed by the management company.
Excellent condo...excellent location...excellent service

My wife and I and our two boys had an excellent week of skiing at the aspens 403. From my first contact with Richard I was impressed with his professional prompt responses and friendly manner. The alluradirect discounts were excellent. The unit was very clean with lots of nice touches that show that the owners care about their property. The location was next to the slope for true ski in/out. Richard advised us to use the ski shop in the unit and apart from good prices and good gear Lori and the staff at Summit were outstanding. We would highly recommend staying at this property.

We had a fantastic stay at the aspens. The owners were fantastic to work with and would for sure stay there again. The only reason the score isn't a 5 start is the management of the building was a little challenging to work with. I would recommend the stay to anyone. Thanks for the great place!

The condo was beautiful and very well equiped and we truly enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The only comments we had were very small suggestions: -In the summer it is a little buggy, so a screen door on the slider would be helpful! -HD channels would be a great compliment to the nice TV and the internet was so slow it was difficult to really accomplish much with it. I know these are small, nitpicky things to an otherwise wonderful experience, but it's all we really had fo ryou.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions; we're glad you enjoyed staying in our condo. It seems that there was a problem with the cable modem affecting internet speed. We've upgraded it and it now speeds along nicely. Apologies for the inconvenience during your stay - please contact us before you book next time and we'll gladly offer you a discount by way of compensation. We've taken your idea about the HD channels on board and upgraded our offerings there, too. We now have a an HD subscription package with loads of extra channels to choose from. We also took the opportunity to add a PVR box (like TIVO or Sky+) so you can now pause and record live TV! Thanks again for reserving our condo. Great comfort for a great value

This condo is a real gem and it is priced just right for the comfort it offers. Rooms are recently renovated and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is equiped with everything you need, even with the spices caddy. And I really enjoyed its open concept which keeps family connected even when cooking. Rooms are equiped with the modern electronics -flat TVs, Dvds. My son and husband really enjoyed playing Wii in the spare time. I greatly liked the view from the balcony - you see beautiful internal patio with the pool and spas and in the same time you could see both mountains, lifts and a slope. Skis storage offered by Summit is very convinient and the rental/ski repair shop on the main floor is a great benefit. We got very clear check-in package with great instructions from the owner and were able to check-in quickly and without any problems. I would definitely come back if I would come to Whistler once again and would highly recommend this condo to my friends.
