beautiful home in perfect location

Claire from ROME, United States
Date: Feb-11-2017 for a stay in Feb 2017

Paul, the home owner, is one of the best I have ever dealt with in a rental experience. Not only was he highly responsive to questions and requests, but he was very easy to communicate with. I found that he was eager to make sure everything was tended to and if something wasn't how we expected it, he was quick to make sure it was taken care of. He was very thorough providing relevant info about Whistler as well as recommendations that were helpful to us prior to our trip to get us prepared.

Paul has one of the best stocked homes that I've ever rented. There was nothing we needed upon arrival. There was an ample supply of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and dish/laundry detergent. The kitchen had every dish, pot, and utensil we needed for our stay. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and there is ample room for 3-4 couples or a large family. We enjoyed lounging in the kitchen and dining area, especially sitting around the fire place. The back porch has a roomy hot tub that our group thoroughly enjoyed. There are heated floors downstairs and a mud room right as you enter the home which was so convenient to dry out our ski clothes and boots for the next day.

The home is situated right off of a green run (there are a few flights of steps so you will get a good warm up of you are skiing out) so you could do without a car if you prefer. We liked the convenience of having one and were down to the village in under 5 minutes. If you are unsure, I would recommend a car because it makes it easier to get to dinners, the grocery store, and shops. Although you can walk to the village for drinks/dinner, I felt it was a little further than I desired after a full day of skiing. Whistler Village is beautiful with plenty of delicious dinner spots. The skiing was great and the snow was perfect.

I'm not sure if I enjoyed dealing with Paul the most or staying in his beautiful home! Our first experience in Whistler was a memorable one and I hope to stay in this home again when we return. I recommend this home and location without reservation!! You won't be disappointed.

This is our fifth or sixth year staying here for an early season long weekend and the place keeps getting better. Unlike most vacation property owners, this owner clearly uses the place himself and ensures that it has everything you could possibly want. He also keeps upgrading it year-after-year so it gets better and better. We'll be back!

The cabin was great as it easily accommodated 10 ladies. We loved that the living and sleeping spaces were separate, except for those sleeping in the den. Plenty of bathroom space for us all to get ready and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin was very cozy and felt just like home. I would happily stay at the cabin again.

Home away from home

Maureen from Campbell River, Canada

This condo was fantastic! It was a quick walk to the village, the kitchen was more than well stocked, and there was plenty of room. We had 10 women staying for the weekend and there were enough beds for all of us! The hot tub was a treat after a chilly day. The 3 bathrooms made getting ready quick. The only complaint I heard was the beds had liners on them that were noisy and a bit uncomfortable during the night.

I would definitely recommend staying here. It was a great price and we all enjoyed the comforts of home. It's not usual a kitchen is as well stocked with condiments, etc, as this one was. It was greatly appreciated and made staying home to enjoy a meal so easy.

Thank you for the lovely stay, great communication, and the late check out. We hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful home and exactly as described in the listing/photos. The kitchen is well stocked and more than enough to host a large dinner party. Rooms and beds are large and comfortable, and enough so that each of my guests had a separate bed. Paul was quick to respond and very helpful. I'm glad I stumbled upon Paul's listing by mistake. I will definitely recommend this property to others.

Outstanding all around - you won't be disappointed with your stay here. If you're heading to the bars for a drink after skiing just keep in mind it's an uphill walk back to the condo and quite difficult while in ski boots and carrying equipment... Luckily taxis are very affordable! The walk is easy in normal shoes.

Fantastic stay !!!

Dickson from Renton, United States
Date: Feb-24-2016 for a stay in Feb 2016

Love our vacation rental. The house was clean, comfortable, well stocked and full of amenities. We were relaxing at home right away after a full day of skiing. Sonos system was awesome. Everything works without issue. Enjoyed the hot tub particularly looking out into the trees with snow falling, so relaxing.

BBQ grill was clean and functional. We had great dinner at the house. The boot/gloves drier and closet with heater made all our ski gear nice and dry to put on the next day.

The house is right at the steps for the ski in and out. You do have to climb 2 flights of stairs then hike few more minutes before getting to the lower olympic run to ski down to the village, it is very doable. Skiing back is no problem, all down hill.

Owner/manager Paul was great with his correspondence. Very responsive to any question. Overall a great stay and surely will rent again in the future.

Incredible Value, Perfect Getaway

Cait from Seattle, United States
Date: Jan-21-2016 for a stay in Jan 2016

I am a repeat guest because Paul's home is by far the best value, most convenient, clean, equipped and memorable place you will find in the Whistler village surrounding area. This relaxing town home is located just behind the Westin - complete with hot tub, fireplace and ski-in option. We had a group of 10 which worked out nicely with the sleeping arrangements and felt like there was also plenty of space between the downstairs area (bedrooms) and the upstairs (kitchen/living/dining/den).

It was fun having Bluetooth speakers to play music while we cooked meals and ate around the large dining table. Then after a long, amazing day on the slopes, we felt right at home as we retreated to our rental. The shampoos, conditioners and other toiletries make you feel as though you are at a hotel. We also got great use out of the drying room for our gear and even the boot and glove drying rack!

These little touches make all the difference and allow for us to continue having a comfortable and pampered vacation. Thank you so much Paul for all of your great communication and allowing us to have a late evening checkout on the last day. We will be back!! :)

Wonderful White Christmas stay

We had a wonderful stay at this condo over Christmas. Paul, the owner, was outstanding. Very responsive and willing to assist in every way. He organised a 10ft live Christmas tree (with decorations) to be set up in the living room. The kitchen is extremely well set up with all equipment needed to cook large meals.

Going skiing was easy once you find the correct turn off from the slopes. We had an issue with the heating however Paul provided extra heaters and did all he could to fix the problem. Highly recommend staying here.

p.s. pull out couch was a bit uncomfortable so you may want to bring an air mattress, but everything else was perfect.

This was a great place to stay for the weekend, with lots of space for our group. The only minor thing was that the hot tub is not to be used after 10pm, which we weren't aware of before booking. By no means a big deal, but something to consider. Overall Paul was quick with emails and responses, and the home is really beautiful!

We had an amazing visit! This condo was located in the perfect spot; so close to the village, we were able to walk to and from our conference and dinner out. When we did take a cab it was $7.00. The condo was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. We were able to cook dinner for ten of us and all fit around the table.

The hot tub was clean, and such a great bonus. Paul was great and easy to get ahold of. He checked in via email to make sure we were comfortable. There was nothing we would change about our stay! Can't wait to stay here agiain!

I wanted to post the email I just sent to the owner. Paul could not have been more helpful emailing me a wonderful guide that explained the workings of everything in his beautiful condo. It truly is a beautiful as it looks with every amenity you could wish for! A very short walk to the village. We did take a cab home a few times because we were tired at the end of a long evening and the cab was always less than $10. Hopes this helps anyone in their decision making.

Hi Paul,

I just wanted to thank you for all your help and generosity. We had a wonderful girls weekend and everyone was impressed with your lovely condo! We did stay late and truly enjoyed our last day to the end! We had such a good time that we have decided to make this an annual trip. You will definitely hear from me next year, if not sooner. I will recommend your beautiful condo to all my friends and family.

Thank you again for helping to facilitate such a wonderful weekend!

Edvin from Maple Ridge, Canada
Date: Apr-20-2015 for a stay in Apr 2015

I spent a while looking for cabins up in Whistler to book and was surprised when I stumbled upon Paul and Karen's place just outside the Whistler Village. The place is beautiful, and comes with everything that you could really ask for. The living room is spacious, the beds comfortable, and the hot tub a nice touch. Once again, thank you Paul and Karen! I'll definitely be looking to come back whenever I need a place in Whistler to stay for a couple of days.

Great space for 2 families. The living space is perfect for hanging out with the family/entertaining. Kids can watch their own TV shows or play in the den while adults relax in the great room. Well equipped kitchen - good quality appliances and cookware. Double car garage that fits a van and SUV. Not enough snow to take advantage of ski in - ski out, village is a 10 minute walk. Private hot tub on deck to relax your tired legs. Perfect family ski accommodation.

Condo with great view at great location!

Eva from Carmel, United States
Date: Mar-18-2015 for a stay in Mar 2015

We spent 5 nights here in March 2015. You can tell that the owners are using it for themselves. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and functional meaning everything works including internet, hot tub, Webber grill, crock pot in kitchen, water stays hot after 9 people take shower after day of skiing, glove/boot drier in a garage is a great perk. And Paul answers any question at any time.

Thank you Paul for making our family-and-friends reunion wonderful! The walk to the Village stores and restaurants is short and very pleasant. You can also walk to the lifts. We drove to the Creekside and parked in the free underground parking to meet with our friends and for après ski in Dusty’s. Over all it was very comfortable to stay here and I can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Paul's home. The condo was exactly as described on the web site. The ski in/ski out was convenient, only a short 5 minute climb up the stairs and over to the run right into the village. We had 7 adults and a 4 year old child. The bedrooms are all located on the lower level (entry level) allowing for early to bed for my grandson while the adults stayed up. Unfortunately we had more rain than snow but the condo was extremely comfortable with room for all in the great room. The upstairs den with TV and games was an added bonus. No hesitation recommending this home to others and I plan to bring my family back. By the way, Paul was always available for a questions. Thanks Paul for a great stay at Whistler.

Beautiful Townhouse

We loved this place! It's beautiful inside and has beds for 10 which worked great for our group. Lots of seating upstairs around the fireplace and a huge dining table. The walk to the village is about 10 mins and otherwise a cab costs $5. The only downside is that the hot tub can't be used past 10 pm because it's beside the neighbors bedroom. Other than that, everything was great and I think we will be returning next year.

Wonderful stay in Whistler!

Katie from Vancouver, Canada

We loved everything about this home. The purpose of our trip was for a girls weekend of R&R with a visit to the Scandinave Spa. There were 10 ladies/adults and we fit comfortably. We spent lots of time lounging around the house, cooking, using the hot tub, and BBQ and the house was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect as its close to the village but secluded enough that you are not right in the bustle of town. Our host provided us with a thorough guide to their home that allowed us to use all the amenities with no issues. I would highly recommend this home for groups of friends like ours or large families. It is quite generous in the space it offers. We hope to visit again!

Girl's Weekend in Whistler

Jasmin from Delta, Canada

Such an amazing place for a getaway in Whistler! The condo was very easy to find and situated in a great location, close to the village. The unit itself is quiet and rather private. The place was pretty much exactly as the pictures were shown. It was extremely clean/neat and organized. Kitchen was very well stocked with the basics. It was very easy to find everything (all the lights/switches are labelled, hot tub manual was posted) and the owner was very easy to contact for help (usually responded within 5 mins of an email). The place was super cozy and everyone slept very comfortably, sufficient bedding/linens/towels were provided as well. Soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers were a nice touch and great for those who forgot stuff. The rooms were on the lower level which made the rooms cooler and more comfortable in the summer heat. Definitely a place that I will consider staying again.

Paul's condo has everything you could want and more. Our large extended family (9 with 3 teenagers and 2 twenty somethings) had plenty of space and we were able to enjoy wonderful family dinners at the large dining table. The kitchen is outfitted even better than mine and I am the family chef. The three full baths are completely outfitted as well - you need bring only your toothbrush. Paul is very responsive and provides excellent information and service prior to and during your stay. We all highly recommend this condo for any large group visiting Whistler and look forward to a return visit soon.

Upon arrival was spotless and even though I had forgotten a few points and instructions that we had already gone over, Paul was patient with me and always quick to respond to my emails and questions. I would recommend this unit to a large family or two average size family's as it can easily accommodate for a large group. We all had a great time and everyone was impressed with the unit. Perfect condo

lexie1970 from Austin, Texas
Date: Mar-17-2016

The condo is exactly like the pictures. It is beautifully decorated and well stocked. You can tell that the owners went into a lot of work to make sure that we would feel comfortable and would lack for nothing. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs with 2 bathrooms and there is a cozy TV room upstairs that can convert into a bedroom with a full bathroom as well. We loved the living room and the fireplace and spent most nights watching Netflix on the huge TV.. The hot tub was great but I would recommend finding an easier system to handle the cover. We were very lucky with the snow and were able to ski in and out. It is a tough walk up the stairs and up the path to the slope but it definitely woke us up and got us in shape for the day of skiing! We had a Suburban and had to park it sideways into the garage but any other car would fit fine. We walked to the village most of the times. It is uphill coming back. All in all, I would recommend this condo to anyone. We definitely plan on renting it again!

From beginning to end Paul, the owner, was very helpful. Questions and emails were answered timely. The property was roomy and comfortable for our group of 10 adults. It was very convenient to be located near the village, market place and in the center of everything. There was enough room for our two full size SUV's in the garage and driveway. The guys in our group liked the easy hike up the stairs to the ski runs. It was great to come home to a hot tub after a day out on the slopes. We had everything we needed. Paul also brought in a Christmas tree for us, which added to our Christmas vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better home and host. We had an amazing vacation in Whistler, and loved our home away from home!!! We're planning on coming back to this beautiful place in the near future.

I wanted to post the email I sent to the owner. Paul could not have been more helpful emailing me a wonderful guide that explained the workings of everything in his beautiful condo. It truly is a beautiful as it looks with every amenity you could wish for! A very short walk to the village. We did take a cab home a few times because we were tired at the end of a long evening and the cab was always less than $10 with tip. I mentioned to Paul that we were thinking of going to a lake on the Saturday and he even emailed me back recommendations! We were a group of 10 girls and we all had enough room to shower and get ready for a night on the town! Hope this helps anyone in their decision making. Hi Paul, I just wanted to thank you for all your help and generosity.

I can't rave enough about my experience in Whistler this past trip. I'll attempt to keep it brief, but it will be difficult. First off, the booking process was painless and Paul was incredibly quick at responding to any and all of my questions (more on this later). Second, the location! It really could be billed as a Ski in and ski out condo. It was fantastic at the end of the day (as long as you know where you are on the mountain and how to get back to where you came out in the morning :)) to ski down. And, depending on your skill level, ski all the way to the short staircase, and then another 25 yards to the house. Simply ideal. The hike out in the morning will get your blood flowing, but definitely shorter than walking to the lift on the street in boots! And in the evening it was a short stint in shoes into the village for dinner and night life. No problem at all (you can even cut through the Westin, but don't tell anyone). Third, the house! Seriously great. Bbq, Hottub, fully stocked kitchen (gear wise that is), what amounted to 4 bedrooms with doors, and great space for dinners in and game nights. The pictures tell the story on the advert. The fireplace really set off the living space wonderfully. Fourth, the service! From start to finish, I was impressed. But one story really tells the story: We couldn't get the dryer to work (it ended up being user error, [shaking my head in shame]), but Paul sent someone over while we were out skiing that same day to check it out and when we returned I had an email waiting for me with an update and fix. Doesn't get better than that. If that doesn't convince you to check this place out, I can guarantee next time I am in Whistler I will be staying here again (unless it's booked up!). Happy powder hunting!

As advertised!

Jones Family from Ontario
Date: Mar-11-2014

Spent 10 days with 5 adults and two childern (7 months and 3 years). Everything was exactly as advertised. 2 adult skiers found access to and from the condo to be relatively easy (once we got our skiing legs!), while 3 non-skiing adults found the condo to be home away from home, perfectly located a little ways from the village but close enough to head down when required. Paul went way above and beyond to assist us in renting baby equipment from a local supplier and contacted us occasionally during our stay to ensure everything was as it should be. Definitely recommend the condo to anyone considering heading to Whistler.

Place is incredible. Had all the amenities and set up well with the snow sports catered equipment like the boot/glove dryer, waxing station, and drying closet. It's a hike up to the mountain and we took cabs to/from the village in the evenings. Walking up the hill is no fun but totally doable and cabs are easy to come by and cheap. All in all a great place.

This condo comfortably fits 10 people and is just a few minutes away from the nearest ski slope, though the walk up was a bit icy while we were there. There was plenty of parking space and the spa was great to come home to after skiing. The owner (Paul) was very friendly and provided lots of helpful information including directions to the property as well as advice for heading out to the slopes. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation for larger groups in Whistler!

We had 10 people stay at this town home. It was appointed very well. It is very close to the village just a short jaunt up Tantalus Dr. It is nice to have a garage to pull your car(s) into or have a great staging area for all your recreational activities, which is how we used it. A large kitchen with a table seating for eight and upper end appliances made dining together quite nice. All and all a great place to stay!

The service we received from the owners was excellent. I was a little unsure if something went wrong would I be able to get in touch with someone immediately. I'm use to just calling the front desk. Well it was great I just had a couple of very minor items such as how to turn the kitchen light on etc. my answer was just a quick phone call. The condo was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The location was so awesome just hidden away up in the mountains. The snow was falling and our entire family walked through the woods together and then walked down to the village. Short stroll. All the amenities were at our fingertips (great). What I liked best about the condo is that it seemed so hidden away I felt that we were the only people up there. The condos are placed very uniquely in the mountains that give this feeling. We will sure come back again. Thanks guys for all the beautiful memories.

We really enjoyed our stay during summer 2012. The condo slept 10 comfortably and was well kept, well furnished, comfortable and clean. The owners were helpful and responsive. Instructions for all the condo's features were easy to follow. Central location - we were able to walk to the village in less than ten minutes, and find a trail for a morning run easily. We had planned on a night out but decided to stay in the condo in the evening because it was so nice. Hot tub a good size. Bbq great. Bedrooms are downstairs which is good for noise. The only thing about the condo that could be improved would be a bigger deck for the summer and perhaps a bit more sunlight in the main room - but those are minor. It's got really high ceilings for an airy feel. It's got a nice view of trees and mountains, not of buildings. All in all, would recommend to others!

We just stay at Northern Lights #19 for a weekend to do some spring riding for Telus Wssf. The condo is immaculate, The views are spectacular and the amenities are plentiful. We arrived on a Friday evening and were greeted by stunning ceilings and a polished look to the condo, from the first minute we felt at home. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bunk rooms sleep 3 and no one from our party had any complaints. We were very pleased with the personal touches, my favourite is the ski/board waxing station in the garage. Our whole party was quite thrilled with the boot/glove dryer in the garage after an afternoon of spring riding. Paul was great with being quick to answer any question we had and helped us whenever we needed it. The location is great, walking to the village is only 10minutes and same to the ski-out location. The ski-in is easily accessible. The only thing we found difficult was the walk up the hill from the village, but it is less than a 10 dollar taxi ride. I rented this condo for a snowboarding trip and to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday. The condo was very clean and beautiful. I love the layout of the place with the kitchen and entertainment area on the top floor and sleeping rooms on the bottom. The location is perfect- very close to the village, 10-15 minute walk. Paul was very nice and extremely helpful. He kept me updated on any information I needed to know before our trip. The only sore note on this trip was that one of our friends had his car towed within 20 min. of pulling his car out of the parking space to allow for easier packing as he was getting ready to leave. There must be someone on watch just waiting to call the tow truck because it was within minutes! My friend came back out to put things in his car and the car was gone!!! $175 to retrieve his car. Paul gave us plenty of warning about parking so no blame there. For those that stay here- do not- even for a minute park anywhere else other than the garage parking spaces or inside the garage. The tow truck guy said it was always the same person who reported cars to be towed. Must be some neighbor with nothing better to do. Other than that- you will not regret staying here. Beautiful. It has everything you need and more. I miss it already! :) Loved the jetted tub in the downstairs bathroom!

The place is fantastic, well located, quiet, and feels very homey. Anytime I had a question or issue with something, the response was extremely quick. The only thing I have to say that could be improved is that these units, given the price, should be equipped with kitchen basics such as spices, and perhaps condiments such as ketchup. It's a bit annoying that we had to purchase all of the necessary spices to cook and barbecue for only one weeks stay. A few basics would be great (we had to run a couple time to the market for spices) and only represents a small investment. Aside from this little detail. I would recommend this place to all.

This was our first time staying at the condo and everyone in my party was delighted with it. The location is perfect for skiing, just a short walk up some stairs and you're right on the slopes. The village is a bit further, but not a bad walk at all. The condo has a lot of character and is set up great for entertaining a small group. It was so comfortable we found ourselves spending most of our time eating in, hot tubing, and playing board games at the condo, rather than venturing out like we had originally planned. The owners were also extremely helpful and accommodating. They were very responsive to any inquiries we had prior to arrival and provided a nice guide to help us determine how everything worked. They have thought of everything and make sure to provide all the staples you may need which was great when we realized we had forgotten some items. The place was stocked with all the necessities for cleaning and cooking. All in all, this place made our trip one to remember and I highly recommend it. This place was great. Very clean, had all the necessities for a long weekend such as housewares and cookware, towels, games, movies, music! Great location to ski in and out. Management was nice and responded very quickly to all questions/needs during the stay! Would recommend to all! Will definitely rent again next time we come back to whistler!
