Our 4 level, 5 bedroom chalet was built with special attention to quality and detail. Here are just some highlights of our home:

Property Description

Stunning 4 Level Mountain Top Home.   Entrance of home on the ground floor with elevator access within unit. Please see the photo gallery for detailed floor plans and photos.

Entry level has attached vehicle garage, guest bathroom with washer/dryer, media room.  Private elevator access to the second and third levels.

Taking the stairs or the elevator, the Second level has 3 spacious separate sleeping areas,  the games room with pool table and TV.  Deck off the 2 front bedrooms. 

The 1325 square foot Third level is the main living area of our home.  Boasting 26 foot vaulted ceilings, massive windows and stunning décor. The central kitchen, opens onto the dining and living room.  A powder room is located beside the elevator.  The Master bedroom with King bed and full bathroom including soaker tub and separate shower, is located beyond the kitchen with access to cozy private deck.

Fourth level is the spectacular Grand Master bedroom with King bed and upscale linens, glass enclosure overlooking the third level and views of the mountains.  The ensuite bathroom has heated floors and towel bars and a large steam shower.  Hot tub is located on deck overlooking the ski run.

There are two spacious living/entertainment areas (2nd level and 3rd level). The 2nd level games room has a pool table and TV with HDTV.   The main living area - Great Room - is on the third level. The third level has an open plan for the living, dining and kitchen area. Amazing floor to ceiling windows brings in extensive amounts of light into our main living area.  A warm fireplace will complete your luxurious vacation experience in our home.

Dining Area

The dining room area with fireplace is located in between the kitchen and living room. Our dining table seats 10 people comfortably.

We are in the perfect location for access to ALL resort amenities. Just steps to the Happy Valley Adventure Area and Lodge, the huge outdoor skating area, tube runs and x-country ski trails. A 5-minute ride up the Gondola will take you to the village centre, lifts, restaurants & shopping and Kids Centre. Ski in at day's end over the Skiers Bridge or down Gondola Way right to the back door!

Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbours

Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 17 people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighbouring guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice, however guests will be notified via e-mail of changes prior to their arrival.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $1,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

We loved ours stay and have already tried to book for next year. Big White is an amazing family resort and the location of this chalet on the hill for families with kids is literally the best!! We had kids ranging in age from 4-10 and they had an absolute blast. While the location is amazing, the chalet itself is even better. Even better in person. We were left wanting for nothing and any questions we had were meet with almost immediate responses.

Our stay at the edge was for 9 nights and sharing with 3 families. We found the property to be of high quality and a pleasure to stay. On arrival the house was very clean and in very good condition. We only rang the manager once and was very responsive and obliging. The hot tub was very useful - however accommodating large numbers, it would of been nice if it was little larger. The kitchen was beautiful to work with - a few more condiments at the house would of been nice as we cooked a lot at the house. The laundry machines work great. Cinema room was also a nice treat with any movie you desire. As far as the location of the house you couldn't ask for any better - perfect. Great ski- in ski- out even for beginners. [We had great snow at this time also] The only problems we encountered were with the air-conditioning and coffee machine. We could not satisfy each room to the correct temperature. Some rooms being cold throughout the night and others too hot. [Running the cycle on the 3rd floor on the cool setting seems to help the hot rooms.] Could not get the coffee machine to consistently work. Overall - this was an amazing holiday at a fantastic resort in very high quality accommodation. I would highly recommend this property for families and friends. Thank you so much!

First class all the way! We were on a group family trip and really enjoyed the home space to roam. The kids loved the theatre room and the parents loved that the kids loved the theatre room:) The living space was gorgeous and kitchen stocked with all appliances and tools needed to cook great feasts. The locations was perfect, right on a ski slope. Great access to the gondola. Highly recommended.

This is our second time staying at the Edge. My wife has mobility issues and the elevator is a real blessing as well as making all our belongings and food into the unit. The fact that it is easy to ski in and out is great with small kids. Hope to stay here again next year.

This place was fabulous. Great location & the ski in/out was spectacular. We've stayed in a few other places in Big White and we all said this was our favourite by far! Would definitely recommend to others & would love to go back!

Spring Break from Hawaii

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, 6 nights for spring break (from Hawaii). Wendy was just a phone call away and always very responsive. Ski in/out was top of the tub was enjoyed enjoyed the den and game notch home, understandably for the price. 4 families = 8 adults and 8 kids had plenty of room. Another full bath/shower is needed with a larger hot water tank.

This place was amazing. Easy to check in and out. We had 10 of us and it was very comfortable. Step out the back door and your on a green run that takes you to the gondola and is easy to get back to from the village. We are definitely going to stay there again.

Lovely place. Spacious. Good location. Luxurious. It was a disappointment to discover that that the agents knew the lift was not working and left no notice in that regard to us. (A different company left me very unhappy because they charged me for repairs that have started before my arrival - so I am sensitive to such issues.) The lift was only fixed on the last day of our stay.

It would be nice to have a TV screen where we can connect a computer to enjoy the day's ski videos and photos. (There are many TVs but none allows you to connect a PC) There is not enough space to store 16 pairs of wet ski boots to dry out. The geothermal heating works well but on floor 2 the den was too hot and the bedrooms too cold - couldn't fix that. Some people in the upper bedrooms had to sleep with outside doors open due to the surplus heat. On the main floor 3 a bed lamp has no globe. We couldn't find the lockup facility for ski equipment. The layout of the hot tub entrance via a bedroom is a bit unpractical.

We did have a wonderful time there - thanks a lot for all the effort you did put into Serenity.

Perfect location

Stayed at Big White for an annual ski trip with a group of friends. Location is perfect as you can ski right out the back door and stop in for a quick bite and a beer during the day. We didn't have any major issues during our stay and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. The only issues (if you could call them that) were it was very tricky trying to find the temperature "sweet spot" of the lower level shower. Bring ice for beverages etc if needed as the fridge ice machine is not very efficient. Also, if you are cooking...ensure you bring spices, condiments, or anything else you may need as there isn't anything in the house. Again not a big deal as we brought everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and also stay here again.

With an extended family of 13 and ages ranging from 2 to 72 we chose this property as it quite literally catered to everyones needs and interests. The property is completely ski in / ski out (the ski run is literally outside the back door) and with a pool table, several games consoles, a theatre room, elevator, hot tub & steam shower, Serenity has everything you could need for a perfect holiday, and more! We would definitely recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to Big White. The location is fabulous, the house is fitted out with everything you could possibly imagine and the service we received from Wendy & everyone at Vacation Services was second to none. They even organised a Christmas Tree for us! The only negative... they supplied us with the wrong entry code so we couldn't access the house upon check-in but that was cleared up within minutes & we had a fabulous stay.

The consensus with our group was that it was laughable how poor the customer service was. There were many reasons we chose to stay at the Edge (paying $1000/nt I might add) and most of them were a big disappointment. Let's start with the fact that the pilot light of the fireplace in the living room was not working properly. Because of this the house heated up improperly and roasted us to unbearable lengths for the first night. Waterfall in the living room looks good in the pictures but doesn't work. Fireplace in the master bedroom (once again good selling point) doesn't work. Apparently there is no fuel available. So in the end the couple that paid big bucks for that room was very disappointed. We all came up to watch two hockey games on TV. The "Theatre Room? boasts a great sound system but it doesn't work when watching TV. It works for other things but not what we wanted it for. Once again, great selling point but didn't work. The lid to the hot tub was not secured or installed properly so my friend and my son just about got knocked out when the lid came flying down on their heads. They came to fix the problem the next day which was nice but once again disappointed. It can't get any worse you might think but there's more. Keep in mind this is one of the most expensive places to stay on Big White. On the second night in I was making the group a big supper on the BBQ and you guessed it, out of propane. Nice. And no replacement tank around. $1000/nt and no propane. The worst part of this whole experience was the customer service
