Welcome to Whale's @ Whistler! "Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a home?"
We are located in the heart of Whistler North. This development is called Sunpath @ Stoney Creek built in 1996 on the original school site in Whistler. It is the first of the Stoney Creek properties and the closest one to the village and lifts. While staying at the townhouse (no inside hallways - outside entry) you will not need a car to enjoy the village, dining, shoping, and skiing as you will be steps from everything in Whistler. Our complex has one of the largest hot tubs in Whistler as well as a swimming pool. Our vacation home is located only steps away from the main village entrance. There is no commercial activity at Stoney Creek which makes it the ideal complex because it is quiet but still close to everything! The unit is best suited for a family (2 adults and 4 children) or 4 adults. The posted rates are based on a maximum of 4 guests staying in the unit. There is a $25.00 per person per night charge for additional guests .
Our home underwent an extensive renovation that was completed in January 2007. The renovation included the installation of new new granite counter tops in the kitchen and master bathroom, new faucets and sinks, new California shutters on all windows throughout the house, and a new pull out couch and chair.

Whale's @ Whistler is located a few hundred yards from the Whistler Village entrance at Village Gate and Northlands Blvd. Our townhouse is located as indicated by the arrow.You can walk to all amenities including the lifts.

A beautiful 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom upgraded unit equipped with all the amenities that you will need including in suite laundry, fireplace, and dishwasher. The kitchen has granite countertops and is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs including a cappuccino machine! There is ample storage for your ski’s or golf clubs. The unit is a ground floor unit (no stairs to climb) with direct access to the pool and hot tub off of the back deck. The pool is less than 25 feet from the pool/hot tub area! The dining room table seats 6 comfortably but also has a leaf to seat 8. Both bedrooms overlook the inner court yard so there is no traffic noise. The master bedroom has a full ensuite. You will love the unit’s layout, close proximity to the pool and hot tub and of course, the convenience of being so close to the village!

You are able to walk to the lifts, get your groceries, do some shopping or going out for dinner. The best part is that there is no commerical stores at Sunpath keeping the building quiet. Once you park your car you won't need it!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Cancellations Made by Guests||Booking deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations after final payment due date are available in credit form only for future stays of equivalent length of time as per the following schedule: Cancellations received between 21 days and 60 days prior to the arrival date will charged 25% of the full rental rate leaving 75% available for future use in the form of a credit. Cancellations received 21 days or less prior to the arrival date will be charged 50% of the full rental rate leaving 50% available for use in the form of a credit.|

|Delivery of Instructions and Access Information||Instructions will be e-mailed to you after youhave made your final payment and before your arrival date.|
|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Guest Stay Contract||A Reservation policies and Procedures document is required to be signed prior to occupancy (see Policies section).|
|Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Guest Stay Policies
|Check-In Time||4:00 p.m.|
|Check-Out Time||10:00 a.m. If you want a late check out please advise us a minimum of 7 days in advance to see if a late check out is available. A small charge may apply as we have to assure the unit is cleaned prior to next guests check in (usually same day).|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Noise||excessive noise is grounds for eveiction. Please respect your neighbours.|
|Housekeeping||Our housekeeping staff will clean our home after your departure. If is the guests responsibility to clean the kitchen area and turn on the dishwasher prior to their departure at 10:00 a.m.. If you require additional housekeeping services they can be booked at a nominal fee. Please book these additional services at your earliest convenience so it may be scheduled properly.|
|Liability||We accept no liability for the guests actions.|

|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||The unit can accommodate a maximum number of 7 persons. We need an accurate count so we can determine the proper amount of linens. If the amount of guests exceeds 7 overnight guests it will result in eviction by our security company.|
|Property Damage||If damage occurs during your stay you will be responsible for it. we will ahve it fixed and take the amount out of your damage deposit.|

Getting the key
|How do I get the key for your home for my vacation?||I live in West Vancouver about 500 yards off of the highway to Whistler if you are travelling from the airport or Seattle. I will send out a detailed map of how to get to my home to pick up the key. If you are flying to Vancouver I would get your flight details and if there are any delays that you would not be aware off at the time of booking I can be made aware of them by calling the airline. At my place we can go over any final questions about your vacation or our home and exchange the keys and complete the damage deposit.|

Family Day weekend fun!

Perfect location to get anywhere you want to go. The layout of the space was excellent with plenty of room for us and friends who popped over for dinner. The kids loved the heated swimming pool right off their bedroom. Warmest heated pool we ever had during our many stays at various condos in Whistler.
The only glitch was the interesting lighting system, cleverly labelled, but a bit confusing on how to keep the lights on, as they would fade off suddenly. Otherwise, an excellent stay and we hope to rent it again for future trips. Thank you for sharing your space with us!View Full Review

Comfortable and recently renovated unit that is fully equipped and met all (4 adults and 1 - 8 year old) of our families needs. The unit is within walking distance to the lifts and all of the village shops, restaurants and attractions. The owners were very responsive when we had a need for additional information regarding access to the pool and hot tub which was directly across the pathway. This is the third year we have vacationed in this unit. We have personally met the owners and they are very responsive to questions and resolving any issues that come up during your stay.
As a first floor unit, there are two small outdoor porches that are great for relaxing after a long day of biking. The best part is the location...right across the street from the village. Once you park the car there is no need to drive during your stay.View Full Review

The location of this rental was perfect for our family! A short walk to the park (which we visited every day with our 2 and 6yr old boys) and out of the hustle and bustle of the main village. For the most part when we went to the pool, we had it all to ourselves which was really nice. I could see it being crowded if there were more than 3 families at the pool at the same time since it's not that big, but the hot tub is huge! (almost the same size as the pool!)
There were only 3 very minor issues (not really issues at all) 1. The carpet was a bit dirty, my 2yr old walks around barefoot inside and within less than an hour, his feet were pretty dirty. ( I washed them and the water was brown) 2. There were glass doors for the closet (spares?) in between the wall and the bunk beds in the kids room which we thought were a hazard since they were just leaning up against the wall. Not really a good thing when you have 2 small children that like to get into things. 3. The spare bathroom's fan didn't work (not an issue at all, just something to note)
Other than that, we really had a fantastic time. We would come back and stay here again in the future. The kitchen had everything you needed and more and the beds were really comfortable! Our stay at the Whales Sunpath unit was a lot of fun. It's in a great location, close to shopping and activities. No need to use the car! It can get noisy. I had to call Security on 1 night. They reacted promptly and the noise was reduced. Only issues with unit: master bedroom window needs a screen and one bathroom needs a fan. Jodi was very responsive. Many thanks! We had a really good vacation at Whistler, this condo was just great, exactly as described and good value for the money. It is right outside the main village so it is quieter but only a couple of minutes walk to the village, maybe 10 minutes to the main gondola. The rooms are a little small but that is typical for these types of condos and was not a problem at all for our family of 5. The condo was well appointed, right next to the pool and on the ground floor (nice bonus so no need to go up the stairs after a day of skiing). The owner was very helpful throughout the process and even went out of her way to send us a package which we had missed. I would definitely recommend staying here.View Full Review

This unit is perfectly located in the village. It is a good bit quieter in the evenings than units along the village stroll. The pool and hot tub are very close and easy to use. We also enjoyed this ground floor unit, no walking up stairs. Sachi Sushi is my favorite restaurant in North Americans it is very close by (snack sushi whenever you want it is 4 mins away). I would recommend this unit to fellow travelers, I have been going to whistler for nine seasons now (both winter and summer) and Sun Path is a great bunch of condos and the Whales unit has been my favorite, because of its ground floor access.View Full Review
