Free concierge service provided. Great guest service; family managed. Reservations are for up to 4 guests, which includes  babies. Each bedroom has a queen bed; 1 twin sofa bed in the living room. Our condo is one level; no stairs. .One of Whistler's best stocked kitchens. Low rates on longer stays. Only condo at Sunpath with any AIR CONDITIONING for warm summer days. Great location with village entrance, shops, & grocery stores a 3 minute walk. Next to the village but not by any village nightclubs. Once you arrive, no need for a car.  RATES  are subject to change without notice.****  Once, you pay your deposit for your reservation, your rate will be guaranteed not to change.  Private owners, so no extra management company fees are charged to you. Please read policy section before reserving our home.

Reservations are for up to 4 guests, which means the total number of people that will be staying in our home, including babies/toddlers. 

 There are NO additional surcharges for parking or any hotel tax charges. The rates are based on nightly charges and are in Canadian currency. We collectthe 5% GST on all stays. We, as condo owners, pay the 2 percent  levy tax that is collected for Whistler rental stays. Visa or Mastercard accepted. No money wire transfers or bank transfers. Send an email about a month's rate.

This is a ground floor unit with no stairs. The entry way leads into the open concept living space.

The hallway leads to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom suite has its own private bathroom and has been recently renovated. The second bedroom has the second bathroom conveniently right next to it. 

The washer and dryer has been replaced with a top of the line large steam washer and dryer.

Tub with shower. It has a new granite countertop with deep sink along with brushed nickel accessories. Wall mounted magnifying mirror and large towel racks. Look in the cabinet for extra guest supplies left for you.

Kitchen

The kitchen has had new white appliances added to it. There is a Kenmore dishwasher that has a Smart Cycle. Just press the button  and it adjusts the water level and temperature for you or choose a different setting.

The  ceramic top range has bridge units for adjusting the size of pots and pans for more even cooking. The convection oven cooks food in a shorter period of time.

The new Maytag microwave has all types of settings on it and heats a cup of water in 90 seconds. New heavy duty garbage disposal has been installed.

The full size refrigerator has an ice maker for all of your specialty or blended drinks. Recipes for some specialty drinks have been provided for you.

Many types of serving dishes and extra cooking tools are provided in the cabinets and drawers. Two new glass shelves have been added to a kitchen wall.

 There are extra condiments in the refrigerator and many types of spices in  the cupboards.  We request that if you are going to use our fully equipped kitchen and appliances that you plan to leave the kitchen in good condition.

The BBQ grill is self catering and there are brushes to clean off the grill after each use.

There is a second small outdoor electric grill for guests to cook extra sides while grilling their main courses.

Living Area

The living room has a sofa with a large recliner and 2 new red leather recliners.The Brookstone full length massage cushion is stored by the small table next to the front window. The foot massage unit and another smaller massage unit are there to pamper our guests. The small trunk in front of the sofa.

 

Dining Area

The modern Jamestown style table with glass top and five chairs with removable seat cushions is very comfortable and make TV viewing more pleasant from that area.

Special Features

Our condo is filled with many extras and once you step in our entrance, you will notice the difference when  comparing it to many other Whistler units.

Suquamish, Washington artist, Sandra Maddox designed and painted an original scene of Whistler Village Square for our new tile backsplash area where it is highlighted with a new under- the- cabinet light bar with dimmer switch. She designs original tile murals and scenes for each client and is willing to take on any project. She truly wants her clients to be happy the finished art piece.   New ceiling lighting fixtures to make the rooms bright and light. Special  lighting in both bedrooms with dimmer switches on new lamps.

New showerheads in both bathrooms.

There are two emergency flashlights plugged into outlets for power failures.

Retractable screen door on front patio door. 

 Ceiling fans with lights with a remote for each fan and the retractable screen door that leads to the front patio.

 There is a drying rack in the ski closet to hang up and dry out your ski clothes for a few of those very snowy days.

 Bring your laptop and check the weather conditions on the web cams at the top of Whistler and Blackcomb with our free internet. The directions are in the storage closet to make sure you know if the internet is working.

 Our condo SLEEPS 2-4 GUESTS for  comfortable sleeping, & enjoying time in the living room area. The living room can fit the guests who like to stretch out while watching TV.  The 40" TV is on an arm able to move for better viewing while watching TV from the sofa bed.

Bright new modern lights throughout our home, along with special LED lights.

There are extra storage racks & clothing hooks to hang up your ski gear.   In the living room area, there is a new black leather swivel-rocker recliner chair with two red very comfortable recliners. 

Our professional cleaning company takes pride in keeping our condo clean and will respond to your telephone call, if needed.  Arthur gives that extra effort to all of our guests.  He is very efficient and arrives on time to clean the unit when you check out. You can also notify him if  anything needs repairing and he will contact Guy, our local repair person. We have an excellent concierge,  Shirley Hills, who  can provide all types of information  for you. She  can get you discounted ski tickets & have them waiting for you on our kitchen counter. Shirley knows Whistler and can help make your stay here even better!

Our location makes Sun Path an often requested guest choice. We are a short walk to the village with two grocery stores within a less than a 5 minute stroll to both of them. There are a handful of  good restaurants within a three minute walk of Sun Path.  A block away is the Marketplace Shopping Center and it will provide many of your necessities.

Please read our policy message because you are accepting these policies with your payment, which many of the policy items listed might  need to be discussed AHEAD BY EMAIL BEFORE YOU RESERVE  our home:..Please send an email for ANY reservation  and do contact us first.  Also, send a message if you are mountain  biking. Our sports gear closet nor entryway nor bedrooms are not large enough to store bikes inside. Please let us know if you are bring mountain bikes with you and how you plan to store them.

 Bikes that are have a lock on each of them  can  be stored in any of our underground parking locked cages. There is a $10 daily rental fee for mtn. bike storage at the lifts ( GI Valet ) with very secure storage.

Suitability & Eligibility Policies

Suitable For:
Adults - Min Age to Stay: 26 MINIMUM AGE 26+, Not counting children or young adults with their parents. Reservations are for 2-4 guests, which include counting babies as a guest. When asking about a reservation, please let us know exactly how many guests will be staying in our condo and not ask to add others onto your stay after you have placed your reservation. Please be responsible and respectful of other condo units in our complex. Do not automatically reserve our condo without having contacted us first by email. We want to know details about your stay and questions you might have about our policies. READ all of the policies, especially the number of guests staying, the damage and extra cleaning costs policy before making your reservation.
Groups Renting Multiple Properties There are 3 of us owners in the complex that have 2 bedroom units which are close to each other and often have friends stay at Sunpath to be all together. Please ask about the other units if our unit is already reserved and we can refer you. We are all one level units with no stairs to climb.
Long Term Renters (Monthly) You can email us about this option to see if we have available times and meet our age requirement. A damage deposit and rental contract might be asked for a long term stay. Guests that have stayed in our condo before, have left it in clean condition and that have had emails from us asking them to return again often receive better rates than 1st time guests.
Non-Smokers Only Our home is not suitable for guests who prefer to smoke. Many guests are allergic to smoke. There is a receptable on the front patio for smokers that need to throw away cigarettes.
People with Restricted Mobility All one level on the ground floor with no stairs to climb and has a shower unit which can be accessed easily.
Seniors Our home is accessible for a guests that use a walker or a cane. Our unit is all one level with no stairs.
Young Adult Groups 17-24 With Accompanying Age-Eligible Adult(s) Teens and young adults are welcome to stay with their parents. We don't accept reservations from teens or young adults that are not staying with family members.
Not Suitable For:
Graduation & Stag/Stagette Parties We no longer accept graduation, stag, stagette parties due to repetitive cleaning and damage costs over the years. We do not accept reservations made by the parents for their students that are graduating from high school or college. No groups are allowed to rent our home during the two May, December typical "party" weekends or other special party weekends that the village square hotels are reserved.
Pets No pets!! You will be asked to move to another condo and evicted for bringing a pet into our condo. We have guests that ask before they reserve our condo if any pet has been allowed to stay in our condo. No pets!!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policy Description
Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit is refundable if we can replace your reservation with another reservation for the same amount of days and at the current rate for Whistler Sunpath condos. Doesn't apply to reservations during holiday dates, but deposit could be refunded with fee if we are able to rebook at current going rate compared to other Sunpath two bedroom condo rates. Cancellation fee on deposit of 12% will be charged if 50 days in advance of the reservation, refund amount would depend on the number of days and rates we would be able to rebook your dates. Online trip insurance is often recommend by owners to cover sudden illness etc. for guests that need to cancel a reservation. Please send an inquiry before reserving our home. It is also a good time to discuss cancellation policy if concerned about making your reservation more than 3-12 months in advance.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Contact us for a hold for your reservation, EXCEPT NOT during holiday or very popular times, no reservation will be held for a long extended time. Returning guests that have stayed will be given the option to have another reservation held for them.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds because of delayed arrivals or because of weather -related conditions. You may arrive anytime after the listed check in time and late in the evening is fine, also. Please let us know if you are arriving when it is late and dark out, so that we can have our cleaner leave an outside entrance light on for you.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information You will be contacted for coded access and very detailed instructions of how to find our unit, especially if you are new to Stoney Creek area. Very clear instructions to answer many guests' questions will be emailed to you after you have made your final payment paid in full, IF YOU HAVE CONTACTED US AND FIRST BEFORE MAKING YOUR ONLINE RESERVATION. No door code will be sent to you automatically if we have never had any email back from you and you made your reservation automatically on our main reservation site without checking with us first.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract Please read all of these policies. Accept all policies before reserving unit. You are agreeing to follow all of the owners' policies with your credit card payment.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay when due will result in cancellations. No refund will be given.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Bike Storage EMAIL OWNER FIRST TO DISCUSS.... all mountain bike owners: Please read this section! Our cleaner would like to know also about any bikes being brought to our unit. If you want to store your bikes inside our home, please contact us first by email to see about bringing a bike or two bikes inside our small entryway. An excessive cleaning fee/damage DEPOSIT fee could be required 45 days before your stay or at the time of reservation..$300 deposit by check mailed from you and we will send you a new check after you check out and after the condo has been inspected if the condo has been left in proper condition. Photos are taken by our cleaner and sent to us if there is any damage and or extra cleaning time involved. Bikes can't be stored overnight on our open patios. Because of costly repair damage to our home and a number of extra cleaning costs, our home SHOULD NOT BE RENTED BY GUESTS THAT WANT TO BRING BIKES INSIDE. Or store them anywhere inside our home, including the bedrooms. We have had guests that take off their bike wheels and stored the wheels inside our ski storage closet, but no bikes without a special arrangement of cardboard for the entryway floor and wrapping the bikes to protect the entryway walls and doors. We have made special exceptions about a bike, but must be contacted first about it. Before making your reservation if you are bringing mountain bikes, please read all of the policies. Some other Sunpath condo owners do allow bikes inside their condos with a damage deposit and we can refer you to one of those owners if you want to store your bikes inside their condos. Regular family bikes and mountain bikes can be stored and locked in all of the Whistler condo garage areas with no extra deposit fee.
Check-In Time Please inquire about early check in times. You can normally check in between 3:15 and 4 P.M. or anytime after 4 P.M. without checking ahead of time. 4 P.M. is the normal time. During the holiday Christmas or ski season, very early check in is sometimes not possible. Repair work is often done or scheduled when the condo is not showing any booking for that date. Please ask about it ahead of time instead of heading to the condo at 2:30 P.M. just in case Arthur is still cleaning the unit or Guy is doing a repair in the unit. We try to make allowances to fit our guests' needs.
Check-Out Time 10:30 A.M. It is important that guests vacate the unit so that our cleaner can clean during his scheduled time. Please make sure you have loaded the dishwasher and that it has been running for a period of time. It takes more than 3 hours for the cycle to finish so that Arthur can put the dishes away. Doing a light load the evening before you check out also helps him if other guests are checking in on the same day that you are leaving. If you are checking out early on your last morning, please let us know so that we can let our cleaner be aware of it, too.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Photos of our condo and its condition if necessary for us to know about can be sent to us by our cleaner. We also receive a phone call about the condition of our home AFTER EACH CHECK OUT. The large and small appliances and the oven and stovetop should be left fairly clean and not require a lot of extra cleaning time. A guest should plan on covering any excess cleaning and will be contacted and expected to cover the extra cleaning cost. Please plan on covering the extra cleaning cost when making your reservation. The kitchen area is considered to be self catering with guests leaving the kitchen areas clean. Please run the hot water and START the dishwasher before you check out of our unit. Basic and common expectations will be listed for you in a binder on the counter, with things such as carry out all garbage etc. and also posted on the entryway door. There is a Dyson vacuum cleaner in the condo and if you are snacking, please use it around the sofa and chairs areas. Please use the paper plates and napkins provided there for snacks while eating on the living room furniture.
Excessive Noise Sea To Sky Security Company can be called and their number is listed in Sunpath condos. Excessive noise is grounds for eviction. Please remember that you could have other renters above and next to you. The Bose Music unit should not be put on the recommended level that the Bose's manual, which is stored inside the lamp table drawer, suggests for the best sound level or neighbor are going to complain about it.
Forgotten Items by Guest Please cover all packaging and shipping costs of any item that you have left there and wish to have mailed back to you.
Garbage Removal It is the total responsibility of the guests to carry out all garbage sacks and recycle items when they check out. There is a recycle white bin under the sink. Please carry that bag out, also, if you have used it. As a common courtesy for Arthur, our cleaner, please definitely carry out all garbage. Please don't leave your opened food containers in the refrigerator/freezer or opened food/cereal boxes for him to check to see if they have been opened up. Please carry out your half eaten ice cream containers and milk jugs. Please do not leave wine and beer bottles on the counter for Arthur to carry out. Use the key and carry them down to the garage/recycle room.
Housekeeping The unit will be clean for your arrival. A fresh linen/towels change is provided on extended stays of every week. On montly stays, we can discuss your cleaning schedules once you email us about your stay. On short stays, after your 7th night that you have stayed, every 6 days, you will be provided with another mid stay clean. If you need more than the normal housekeeping, please call or schedule this ahead or if you want to extend your vacation time.
Internet Availability & Usage free to use by our guests. Password is in your check in information and also posted in the white binder on the counter. Please call Arthur if you need to use a wire for your computer.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily injury in our home or while in transit to or while on resort property.
Locking Door Garage and pool key must be left on the counter at departure time. There is a $100 fee for replacement costs. Please lock all doors and windows whenever you leave the unit and check the sliding glass door in the one bedroom to make sure it is locked. Access code change after you leave.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour always on call. Call Shirley first. Arthur's phone number is listed in our kitchen. He can contact our repair person that is on call. Also, Shirley Hills 604.932.9893. Guy, our local repair person, lives at a complex close by. His cell phone number is 604.932.8662. If Arthur or Shirley don't answer your phone call immediately and the condo needs a repair, please call Guy.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Our cleaner checks on our unit. Maximum four guests!! Linens are based on the number of guests. Be sure and give us an accurate count of guests staying. Our rate is based on 2- 4 guests. Sun Path condos are the most comfortable with 2-4 guests in the 2 bedroom units. We do not accommodate 5 or 6 guests. Children are welcome. Please help them with the TV/ DVD directions. More than 4 guests in our home will result in a cancellation.
Missing Items With your credit card payment, you are accepting responsbility for missing or damaged items. The guests checking in after your stay expect to find all of those items listed on our site as being in the unit.
Noise Restrictions No loud noise from 10 P.M. until 7 A.M. Eviction without any refund. Please make sure that the bass level is not high because other neighbors could be bothered by it.
Parking & Ticketing Designated parking space for your car. Unloading zone is a temporary one and a few spaces are for up to 3 hours. Key to garage area to park in will be provided for you. Visitors' temporary parking area is only for 30 minutes. Tow trucks TOW AWAY many cars in Whistler and tow trucks park in complex garages waiting to tow cars away during the busy winter and summer season. Please move your car inside the gated secure area at Sunpath once you have unloaded your car. Please be sure to leave the parking card that is provided for your dashboard when you check out.
Policy Updates As of Sept. 2011, excessive cleaning /damage deposit required and collected from guests that are mountain biking and want to store their bikes inside our home. Please read bike storage section and accept policy before making a reservation. No refund will be given if guests haven't contacted us about bringing mountain bikes and then announce they are bringing mountain bikes with them for their stay. A check must be mailed and received 60 days in advance of stay and is refundable after check out if condo is left in good condition.
Property Damage DAMAGE DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR GUESTS WITH MOUNTAIN BIKES. Photos are always taken of the unit if need be after guests check out to provide evidence of any damage to the condo, condo items or linens and extra cleaning needed to be done inside or to the patio areas. Renters assume all responsibility for any damage done to the unit and to the contents in the unit while they are renting the unit. You will be sent an itemized bill for any damage and excessive cleaning costs after your check out time and the unit is checked for any damage or excessive cleaning costs. NO graduation, bachelor parties etc. This is normally a quiet complex. Please report any unit to security if there is excessive noise coming from there.
Rental Accommodation Zoning It is zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Evicted for not following policies. A pet in the condo. More than 4 guests staying in our home. Bringing ANY BIKE INSIDE and OR storing bikes inside our home without written permission from the owner, damaging our home. No loud parties, loud music, or a security company having to come to the unit because of noise problems.

Favorite place for drinks and appetizers Sitting under the umbrella-covered tables at Whistler Village Square. For breakfast and dinners, some of our guests reported that Elements Urban Tapas Restaurant was their most favorite place to eat during their 3 weeks' stay while traveling around B.C. That is quite a compliment to give a restaurant and it has had many great reviews by other guests, too.

 About Us

We are an extended family that loves Whistler with all of its outdoor sports and beautiful mountains. We enjoy the four seasons and  use our vacation home as often as some of us can be there. We like the convenience of parking our car and being able to walk everyday somewhere around Whistler until we are ready to head home again. Having a vacation home close enough to a shopping center with a grocery store with being able to walk to it is a bonus. We love being close to the village area with all the small shops and great restaurants with year-round pato dining. We have added many items to our home that we enjoy using while we are there and our guests seem to enjoy them, too. Our kitchen is set up for real cooking and not just snacking. All the special lighting in our home makes it a real special one.

When none of our family are using our home, we try to provide great guest service and wish to make all of our guest happy with their stays.
